I can not express how much that I love these new dungeons! Hidden areas, secret doors, huge caverns, very cool mechanics and just creepy as hell atmo through them all.
Yes! each and every one of them is a massive adventure, my only wish was that they added more unique loot in hidden areas, but overall they've done a great job.
Everyone is saying that they are loving these but am I the only person that thinks these are far too long? Three hours and I am half way through this one.
@@tiddlez3948 Or some borderline useless "Common" version of a weapon. I see people on TH-cam getting great stuff from random chests, like spells and scrolls and then I open the same chest and get like a bandage or something like that.
You can kill the cyclops without taking ANY DAMAGE. All you have to do is get into the hall of the cyclops and run past the toxic sludge on your left (facing the cyclops) and land on the ledge of rocks. The cyclops will follow you but will not jump down. So you can just shoot him at a safe distance until he dies. 😅😅 Every boss in this game, including the dragon have some sort of glitch whereby you can safely kill the boss with 0 DMG. Maybe its intentional.
@Jacktan9203 Why call it a glitch? It's a strategic decision you made, killing it at range. I do this all the time, I check out a room for jump-up areas etc from which to kill enemies.
Jasus man - you must have a photographic memory to remember where all the chests and turns are! 🙂 I gave up on this one after I got lost inside for about 2 hours! It really is more geared towards a group - am not looking forward to the next one if this one is anything to judge by! Thanks for the guide!
I imagine he does the dungeon run, takes his time, marks where all the chests and hidden doors are, and then does a run to be uploaded. I was grateful he did this, I couldn't have found half the areas he did. Still, I had a hard time doing it because I suck at double swings with the grappling hook. Another disappointment was the quality of the loot. All low level garbage.
@@Temulon the thing is that these are meant to be played when you reach the area and have the corresponding lvls of loot. In other words, in the last dungeon you will get a lot of lvl 25 awesome loot but if you are already in the area the loot in all the other regions will be trash. It’s only runes
Great guide! 👍 I hate these halls but your guides make them bearable! Everything explained and straight to the point, and, most important for me, no cutting or speedforwarding on the path that one must take. I need that to not be lost all the time. Thanks for making this! Liked and subscibed! 😍
Hey thanks for the video! The only thing I wanna add is at 15:00 just when you landed after the slide, there's a way up the rocks on your left that leads to a big golden chest :)
It I tried hard to design something that was not fun I think that third barrier room would be perfect. Make sure you have no stamina so you have to constantly stop. Make it totally dark. Fill it with mud so you move super slow. No minimap so you cant see where you are. Put a million invisible rats in it so you are constantly fighting and losing your direction. Hide eight EIGHT tiny things with no clues in a gigantic multilevel room that you have to find all of and your progress in the entire game is stopped if there is one you cant find. Perfect way to ruin a game. Thank goodness for your guide, I would never have finished without it.
I mean...other than the ones that are literally sitting in the open, the other runes are just one per each possible side room. So if you enter that space, and just go into each side door/cave you automatically find all of them. Also, the rats die in 1 hit from literally any weapon in the game (or spell) and you can jump/glide over every single square inch of the mud and are literally not required to touch any of it to find the runes. Skill issue.
Great walkthrough. Interested to see the next two. Last night I started #4 and quit about half way through. Went back through this one and #3 just to pick up the two blocks I missed. I had completed Nomad (#3) but there was a level I couldn't figure out (caged mobs) so I just picked through to each group and somehow that worked. #4 is definitely a challenge.
Yeah, I had enough of that place too. I got stuck, and it's too big to keep searching. It'll take too dame long to search every corner. Thanks for the walk through.
"These dungeons are great fun, but I am a bit disappointed with the hidden chests being the lowest of quality" I agree. I only did the dungeon run for the marble block, I knew everything else I would find would be garbage.
Anyone know how to do that backhand attack he does with the two hander at 19:00? I have a hundred hours on this game so far, purely using 2 handers, and I have never seen that.
I've been watching your video and it's helping me get through this big place. All was good thill the 8 barriers are unlocked..I got up to this point and was ready to come out to continue, but then you don't show how to get to the room you are in before you open the big metal doors after the 8 barriers are unlocked. I've been wandering around in this for a long time and now I'm lost in ti. can you explain which way you went aftermarker 12:29. I'd really appreciate it.
My mistake! I believe you have to first make your way up the "bridge-platforms" that are all around the central area of the room, and then you should be able to grapple your way across to the door. This guide did not cut it out, so if you are unsure of what I mean, watch the link: th-cam.com/video/Mv1uNay7LxM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=guDxXTbChjRd1mZ-&t=897 Hope youll solve it!
What lvl should you be for this? Ive been stuck at the boss for hours, i cant defeat it, i dont do enough damage i get stunned then cant dodge his attack and die, repeat. Watching your video makes me feel im severely under leveled. 😅
Old comment, but you should probably be at least lvl 15 to 20 for this boss, though that also depends on how many additional skill points you've gotten from other sources.
The only real difficult part, to me anyway, was the double swings using the grappling hook. I can't get the timing right. Against the hoards of skeletons, I tried to take out as many as possible using a bow from a safe distance. It seemed to help. The only thing worth doing the dungeon run, for me anyway, was the marble block. I love the look of it.
Thank you so much. I just have one question how do you get your game so bright. Mine is so dark I can’t see without a torch. The brightness on my co is all the way up
12:56 No idea what you did here after the last glyph. Looks like an editing cut, but can't tell which direction you went exiting the cave of the last glyph, as the video jumps.
Interesting video and very informative. May I ask does reading the second journal unlock the the Hidden Crafting Recipes quest? Currently I have this quest but am unsure as to where I picked up from and wonder if I have previously missed a hidden recipe.
Well, it appears I made it to the last room before I gave up out of sheer boredom. I had passed the last shrine before the cyclops room so I thought I would respawn back in that location but upon returning to the game a few days later, I spawned in at the last altar I visited outside the dungeon so I thought I would at least watch a video to capture all of the secret locations once I go back in. I do appreciate the time you took to document these locations but I am completely confused why one would create a dungeon so large and magnificent and fill it with the same shite loot we have everywhere else in the world. So much done right with this game but so much that appears to have not been thought out. I do have 450hrs in the game but a lot of that is building so there is a big part of it I enjoy but these dungeons are for the birds, especially for us solo players. Rant off...
Done and I did confirm that I gave up as I got to the last barrier labeled 1 and didn't realize you could grapple over it, that's how close I was to finishing the previous run. I typically will do the first run cold so I had no idea how close I was. Between Exploding II, Iron and Scrap arrows, I went through right at 750 and had a tiny sliver of bow life left when the Cyclops was felled. Not sure I have it in me to go through the next 2 dungeons. Hopefully you have guides for those as well.
@@GenDrake3 They won't give you weapons higher than the max level. The issue might be that the level 30 weapons are still usable when now the max is 25.
The huge problem of Hollow Halls is its size and the absence of normal save/load system in the game. Imagine you are half way through and you have no time (have to quit the game) or have no healing potions. The next time you will have to continue from the very start. I ended up using game bugs in this location. Otherwise it is very problematic to kill all enemies and inspect every corner. E.g. close gates in front of the horde and kill them through the gates OR run towards the "save point" and let enemies kill you, then quickly re-spawn and kill enemies with sneak attack one by one when they are slowly returning to their original location. Imagine you are out of healing potions and arrows and you find out that there is a final boss ahead. I managed to get Cyclops fall from the main battle area and then kill it with the help of creatures from "bone cube". This is the really hardcore area.

Completely agree. Without a normal save/load option this area is hardcore. Not everyone can spend more than 3 hours a day in a game.

They say the bosses were designed to be fought in co-op groups, so they let you cheese them when you play alone.

Sorry about the confusion, the barrier opened and I proceeded to the next room.
14:50 the hardest part. I died many times over (I'm level 30) and finally made it down. I maxed all endurance/stamina soups, teas eggs..
This took me more than 3hours to do and I never got anything above common weapons, but still missed part of the recipe.

I honestly do not remember, I want to believe that none of the journal pages in the Springlands unlocked furniture, but I could be wrong...
This dungeon took me way too long and those slime slopes killed me 4 times. I was not able to recover my loot from them.
You are not alone!
Revelwoods Hollow Halls had crashed at the end twice on me now.
You can open the door without the key. Just place an altar next to it and then you can dismantle the door.
did you find all hidden crafting recipes?
I believe I did, the quest has completed for me at least. There is one in the Revelwoods, Nomad Highlands & the Kindlewastes Halls.
That slide. gods. I died 3 times for lack of stamina.
