- People try to buy HERBAL colours to protect their skin and hair for 1 day of Holi. But why don’t we pay attention to the colours we put INSIDE our bodies for 365 days a year?
In this video I talk about some food colours which are banned in certain parts of the world but are allowed in India and are known to cause adverse effects if consumed in excess.
We should pay attention to the colours we put in our bodies, the same way we pay attention to colours we put on our face during holi.

Why is supreme court silent of these issues. Why don't court ban all those things which are banned in the developed countries for their citizen's safety. Someone please file a PIL and ban each and every harmful chemicals in food.

It's not that easy. I'm sure someone might go file a PIL. But these lobbies are strong ans they'll rally against you personally, like they've done with many brave souls previously.
SC cannot go around banning stuff. Someone needs to file a PIL and only then can they take any legal action.

Also you should mention presence of cadmium and lead in the paint used on these glasswares. Also most of the glass cutlery used at household has cadmium paint on them. Btw I really appreciate what you're doing, wish you good luck 👍

U r so right in saying all about different products. Nowadays even the u tube cooking channels show recipes using colours which is shocking as mostly these channels are run by women who otherwise claim that their recipes are so called healthy. I don't understand what is the purpose of adding food colour to the food, except enhancing the glam quotient but aren't we creating a health hazard by doing this.

1:05 as much as I know we prefer colourful food because our ancestors when collecting food collected colorful fruits and considered them safe, so it was passed as a natural instinct to us. Though take this theory with a grain of salt

Bro will literally ban everything, I am not sure if even the US can handle him, things like cold drinks and chips are too deep rooted, even reaching rural areas, but his healthy alternatives are either some hard to find products even in urban cities or home made products (which of course is harder than just buying)
