You sound like you’re from Boston. I just got into these older inspires and I’m probAbly gonna start running into battery problems. Maybe you can help out a fellow Bostonian with a couple of inspire 1s. Love to hear from you

Hello, excellent video. I write from Argentina, and I bought 2 5000ma batteries. To make the adaptation, could you be so kind as to explain to me how to do the reform, especially what to do with the temperature sensor. Or could you tell me some video forum or website where I can see the step by step of how to do it. From already thank you very much . a big greeting

What about your 2 titan batteries only as power how much air time you get?

Wow, that's some serious dedication to science, standing out and watching the hover! We just watched your video over here, and have been discussing what you're seeing. The good news is, we've been looking into this, and could have a solution later this year, depending on how the R&D goes.
We think what you're seeing comes down to a few considerations:
      1. Li-Po batteries have a lot lower internal resistance than Li-Ion. This means that, when the packs are connected in parallel with the Inspire's battery, that most of the current will be drawn from the Li-Po chemistry. As you also mentioned in the video, at the end, the Titan packs will actually start to charge the internal Li-Po.
      2. The flight controller is most likely calculating state of charge from the "balance" readings on the cells, and is cutting the flight off when they get to a critical level. That's good, and right for Li-Po. The challenge in this configuration is, as you've seen, that the Li-Ion chemistry has a wider safe voltage range during its normal discharge.
      3. In reality, those two packs could actually power the Inspire by themselves, if the flight controller were programmed and able to operate in a wider voltage range. DJI is obviously pretty closed about aftermarket packs, and has taken steps in the past to make their gear not work with 3rd party batteries. Your solution is obviously an awesome workaround, and what we're looking at would be similar.
Thanks again for letting us know about your test, and if you or your viewers have any questions!

no problem, just thinking i should have got the bigger ones, or yes if you can come up with another solution would be great, i know it would be possible to get a 25 minute run, but i hope i can get there and not go broke, im trying HV batteries to see if its a volt thing, i was going to get a pack from you for the mavic pro, but 1 step at a time.......

CRUZROY Helicopters ~ They, dji, have all their models working off the state of charge. Other packs I think would need to connect to the battery prior to the circuit board. The dji battery has 12 cells, some are connected in parallel while others are in series to support that state of charge as I understand it and have seen in a tear down video on here. Their board is our “problem “...??

Roy did u find any information on that mavic pro battery mod to get 35min flight time... I can't get nothing through that link someone sent you🤔

all i gather it is 2 mavic pro lipos, but one is got all electrics removed and is tied in to the main mavic pro lipo, and when you are done you can still charge with standard lipo charger that came with mavic

If the output impedance of your batteries don't match they will never draw equily

as i see it its not worth it I'm still getting 15min from my tb47 after 60 odd cycles.
