i just took out my spark and wanted to use it the batteries have 2 does they look like they charging but the spark charger does not light up red like yours did?
Hey CruzRoy! Cool video. I’m having the hibernation problem with my spark batteries. I can’t find the battery killer software. Can you provide a link or point me in the right direction please? I opened one of my batteries and was able to get 2.8 voltages across the cells, but it still won’t charge. I guess I need to reset the bus! Thanks, PS. Did you say not to leave the battery on the charger because it will drain the voltage if it is not charging?
Tons of good info and no -BS- . I Cracked open a spark battery that was dead for grins and . .. yeah no way does it "Pop right open". Most of the videos seem to have already taken it apart at least once already. Mild heat and a steel spudger barely got me in without damaging the casing and it still broke a few of the tabs. Did you happen to post your 3D printed Jig anywhere ? That would be really useful !
Thank you... I bought a like new spark knowing all 4 batteries are flashing the 2 green 4 times when charging. Purchased 4 new batteries but will waiting a month to get them. I have been researching repairing the others. From what I got off micro sd card in drone. It has been close to 2 years since flown. Do you think there is a chance to revive batteries? Also I have a DC power supply variable: 30V 5A adjustable. Will that work with CP2112 board.
i repair for 30 a piece, you pay shipping both ways, if they dont come back to life, you dont pay...yes 2 years, dont keep trying to charge DJI software works in reverse if you do, it will deplete the lipos till they are dead

I purchased a CP2112 Debug Board and bench power supply pushing steady 10v, but all four batteries will not allow me to read info, I get the same error on all 4 packs "Could not perform SMBus read 0x00". Do you think my CP2112 is bad or do you think all 4 are really dead? Before all this, I originally left them on charge overnight because, at that time, I thought that it was best to try first.

yes i made jig, pro it works to charge dead batteries a cell at a time to at least 3.0 v ...con leaves holes and you still have to reset BMS

Too complicated, effort and time are appreciated but it's to technical for a regular hobbiest
