Hi Lionel, How about giving old race analysis of famous triathlon races of the past. It could help you study tactics and strengths and weaknesses of your competitors and give us entertaining videos to watch? But the hour record sounds like a good idea.
Would love to see you filming a day in the life of Erin, so we can get your glorious camera work, and also see more of the person who supports you the most in your daily life and learn what makes her tick!
Yes I was going to suggest this as well. Most importantly I would like to know how you balance your strength (squat) workouts along with your runs/bike workouts. Do you go lighter the day after squat or deadlift day etc.... And do you change your diet at all for your strength days?
We want to see you run 1mile, 5k and of course 10k.... Doing as many pullups as you can in one go. Go for a mountain bike ride on trails and do a short wheelie... Try a top speed run on the flats on your canyon just to see what the number will be. More virtual training/racing. And of course we want to see you eat and hear your thoughts now and again.
I love Day in the life videos. I can appreciate Lionel thinks these would be boring, but somehow they give us valuable insight, and to connect on a human level with Lionel. I would also love to hear more about his spiritual practice and how triathlon has helped him grow in mind, body and spirit.
A weekly. Vlog would be great. Seeing you train and pushing yourself is always inspirational. Whether you're trying new techniques that week, have any diet recommendations etc go nuts but I enjoy seeing your family dynamic and personality
What about doing the Montreal Esprit Triathlon? They have all distances up to the ironman distance! It's going to be held 12-13 September :) I'll be doing the Olympic distance this year but I'd love to see you there! Any videos on your workout schedules would be amazing. Something similar to what Cody Beals has written about on his blog posts in the past
You need to race half Ironman in Montreal (esprit triathlon), early September... riding on the F1 Track, no doubt that you will ride the 90km close to 47-50km/h depending of the winds directions. Come visit us in Montreal 🙂🇨🇦... so if you look for a challenge, how about to smash your PB on 70.3 distance! This place has history 1999 ITU world’s championship were held there.
Content idea input: Day in a life ver 1 + 2, 1st longer training day vs "off day" as 2nd....video series of 1hr canadian record attempt, the practice runs, bike calibration and tinkering, suit tinkering, helmet testing etc and the big day! journey to daytona and the race... favorite spots at winsdor, favorite routes - if you can and will ride outdoors? favorite workouts and some "coaches corner" with dtd would be nice? input from both sides of this adversity everyone is having due to covid but in the athlete-coach pov.. theres my toughts :)
Good luck and have fun on your new adventure. You are the only one I follow on Zwift and I must say you are an inspiration! I compare my time and distance to yours and think not too bad, then I look at the altitude--holy sh**!
It's smart going for the velodrome record. The main gains over the past 10 years in IM has come a lot from improved aerodynamics. Just going through what you're learning about improved aerodynamics and how you manipulate the intensity of your weekly training sessions would be interesting. Many followers of yours may have an end goal of doing a TT to improve their FTP or bike speed, which is what you're doing during this time. It looks like your focus is to improve bike aerodynamics, swim technique and strength. Many age groupers will have similar goals
Thanks L. And good luck. Would love to see some educational videos on eg how do you structure training and build up to race season, some of your key sessions structure etc.
Massive fan and new to the sport - signed up for my first triathlon (Ironman Finland 21). Baptism of fire I know! Would love to hear more about the kit you’d use, run/swim/cycle form, how to prepare mentally for an Ironman distance / favourite gear and, like everyone else keen to see your strength routine!
I always love the training footage... Also, maybe touch more upon how you stay motivated without any real external goal to aim for, especially when things are so uncertain right now.
I think it would be awesome if Lionel walked us through a training block, or maybe even a typical week. It would interesting to hear about intensities, zones and the reasoning behind those efforts. I know these days things might not be as structured as a race prep plan, but not a lot of us are prepping for races, just maintaining fitness and having fun. But for race prep, what does the body of training look like? That would be so cool to hear from a top pro!
I think it would be really neat to see your trophy room. All the amazing trophies, medals and prizes you’ve won through the years. Tell us your favorite prize, the prize you worked hardest for. I think that would be a really enjoyable video
I would love to see some weekly vlogs, just showing your weekly training like paula fidley and eric lagerstroem do. Or some crazy challenges like an 24h bike ride or a 2-3 day bikepacking trip(self supported of course, so you dont have to get in contact with strangers) Cheers
Great vid, good to see how up beat and positive LS is. More of your intense training session where you’re hitting hard would be good to see, maybe details of the core strength and weights session you’d do on a weekly basis👍
Time to crank up the pain cave in the safety of your own home! No worries, 2021 will be the year when we get to cheer for you taking top position in Kona!
Make more videos relating to nutrition on a day to day basis. How to organize nutrition around training. Also how you work on mobility/stretching/rolling for recovery.
I'd like to see your overall and specific training for the hour record time trial. A comparison of living and training in Windsor, Ontario versus Tucson would be interesting too.
I feel really bad for the professional athletes this year. There are some smaller local races still happening. How cool would it be for Lionel or Tim O'Donnell, or Rinny, or Sarah True to show up at one? Lincoln, NE Last Blast Triathlon on September 13th!
I think the velodrome videos would be really cool. We'd get the velodrome videos we never got with Phil. All the aero testing and practicing and attemps.
Hi Lionel! Would be great to hear how your bike fit went since the last time you visited Ivan. Any new tweaks or adjustments? Cheers champ, all the best from Panama!
It would be interesting to see Lionel take on other fitness regimes - reflex training, generic gym equipment (elliptical, Nordic Track), cross-fit? To see where he stacks up!
I have watched you pain cave video but would love to see what your program at home looks like.. your gym program, how often, how varied, how you do swimming in the endless pool compared to open water and pool sets
From my perspective, i'd just like to see the steps you take to develop, what your training philosophy is, and most importantly, how can I (as an average Joe) learn from your experience to make myself better/faster/stronger! NO LIMITS ;)
yes show us your strength training routine with some explanations of what the aim of each exercise (eg injury prevention, increase strength on bike, faster swim etc( is with sets and reps etc.
I'm a new subscriber was wondering whats size cranks you use and have you experimented much with different crank lengths? I apologize if you have covered this topic in past video's thanks!
I vote for coaching videos. How to get the average joy to be successful at their first Ironman. Give us some week by week activities for us to do so we can get up to speed.
I’d be curious to see how well you know your own power output. Maybe as you go forward with the hour record you could touch on how you will manage output without the feedback of a power meter. I believe they aren’t allowed in the hour record.
Ooh, i'm sure this hour in hell will do so much good to ironman and half-ironman bike leg too, hope you an also check the differences between absolute prayingmantiis /anthony costes+joe skipper/ vs jan frodeno flat positions in velodrome too..
Dude you look so well, maybe not racing for a while has helped you get some good recovery? Anyway now that's over I can't wait to follow the hour record attempt journey!
Hi Lionel,
How about giving old race analysis of famous triathlon races of the past. It could help you study tactics and strengths and weaknesses of your competitors and give us entertaining videos to watch?

Agreed!!!
That would nice, great idea!
Was going to suggest the same thing. Would be interesting to get a view on what it's like to live with/support an elite athlete
A day in a pro triathletes wife life
Make a video on your strength routine!
Yes I was going to suggest this as well. Most importantly I would like to know how you balance your strength (squat) workouts along with your runs/bike workouts. Do you go lighter the day after squat or deadlift day etc.... And do you change your diet at all for your strength days?
Up!!!
This!!
Yes, that would be worth a watch or two!
Here you have some big lifting: th-cam.com/video/VyM4pVuERnw/w-d-xo.html
We want to see you run 1mile, 5k and of course 10k....
Doing as many pullups as you can in one go. Go for a mountain bike ride on trails and do a short wheelie...

More virtual training/racing.

Want to see his lifting/ strength training routine!
This would be too embarassing for all others 😂😂
Talbot pls make a 30 min mix with The Lionels training content and Pumping Tunes ( just like last couple min of this video)👌🏻👌🏻
I was going to say the same thing.
Yes please!
Totally! 30’ of the Lion 🦁 training hard please!
let's make it 60 minutes!
my gawd do you guys know how much editing that is haha
I love Day in the life videos. I can appreciate Lionel thinks these would be boring, but somehow they give us valuable insight, and to connect on a human level with Lionel. I would also love to hear more about his spiritual practice and how triathlon has helped him grow in mind, body and spirit.
Vlog your daily quarantine routine!
A weekly. Vlog would be great. Seeing you train and pushing yourself is always inspirational. Whether you're trying new techniques that week, have any diet recommendations etc go nuts but I enjoy seeing your family dynamic and personality

I'd love to hear about your sporting background growing up, before triathlon.
El Leon is back.
Videos of equipment review, diet, TT training.
Great vibes to you.
Would love to see some shoe or just equipment reviews!
I’m so glad this channel isn’t that.
@@rogerc23 mabye not all the time 😂
A Q n A video again would be cool. Your thoughts on Kona being postponed, which pro would have done well in Feb if it happened etc.
You need to race half Ironman in Montreal (esprit triathlon), early September... riding on the F1 Track, no doubt that you will ride the 90km close to 47-50km/h depending of the winds directions. Hey Lionel,
Go for the hour record! You could definitely do it if you get a nice position, and practice in the velodrome.
Good luck mate!

Those bottle cages!! Criminal for a bike like that
Good luck and have fun on your new adventure. You are the only one I follow on Zwift and I must say you are an inspiration! I compare my time and distance to yours and think not too bad, then I look at the altitude--holy sh**!
Montreal Esprit Triathlon is open mid september by the way.

Just want to say you guys rocked your lockdown content. Thanks so much. Zwift should probably give you half their company.
Thanks L. And good luck. Would love to see some educational videos on eg how do you structure training and build up to race season, some of your key sessions structure etc.
That closing montage was sick!
Massive fan and new to the sport - signed up for my first triathlon (Ironman Finland 21). Baptism of fire I know! Going for the hour of pain, I love it!
I always love the training footage... Also, maybe touch more upon how you stay motivated without any real external goal to aim for, especially when things are so uncertain right now.
Come race C3's Tri in Caledon with Taylor Reid and Cody Beals!
dude everyone would appreciate any content you put out. don't stop now!
I think it would be awesome if Lionel walked us through a training block, or maybe even a typical week. It would interesting to hear about intensities, zones and the reasoning behind those efforts. Awesome choice to try for the hour record, love it!!!
Would love to see the real
MVP Erin! Would be fun to see what Erin does behind the scene as Lionel films!!
I would love to see some weekly vlogs, just showing your weekly training like paula fidley and eric lagerstroem do. Or some crazy challenges like an 24h bike ride or a 2-3 day bikepacking trip(self supported of course, so you dont have to get in contact with strangers)
Cheers
Canadian hour record is a great idea! Good luck 👍
Great vid, good to see how up beat and positive LS is. More of your intense training session where you’re hitting hard would be good to see, maybe details of the core strength and weights session you’d do on a weekly basis👍
Would love to see you guys get set up to stream workouts on twitch. Would definitely watch.
Definitely a long Q & A video!! 🙏🙏
Time to crank up the pain cave in the safety of your own home! No worries, 2021 will be the year when we get to cheer for you taking top position in Kona!
Looking fwd to the hour attempt! Would be great if there’s a way to watch live!
It will be nice to see your workout videos from Canada again! Hope to see more content of your diet

Good plan Lionel, looking forward to seeing your training for the Velodrome event.
oh please please please please do the 1hr Canadian record attempt and film the process!! that'd be some fun content
I think the velodrome videos would be really cool. We'd get the velodrome videos we never got with Phil. All the aero testing and practicing and attemps.
Hoping for Daytona! Look forward to velodrome training! #nolimits
Some custom kit design videos perhaps? A chance to crowd source the 2021 rebrand?
All we need is footage of you training in your house and maybe a meal or two that's good enough.
Hi Lionel! Would be great to hear how your bike fit went since the last time you visited Ivan. Any new tweaks or adjustments? Cheers champ, all the best from Panama!
Seeing you smash a local park run (if those are open in Canada) would be good fun and the right kind of suffering^^
i live in (windsor/tecumseh), theres a group of ultrarunners doing an everest challenge. they use malden hill to get their elevation gain.
It would be interesting to see Lionel take on other fitness regimes - reflex training, generic gym equipment (elliptical, Nordic Track), cross-fit? To see where he stacks up!
Any chance you could do a walk through of your warm up and cool down for your run workouts? Similarly to your tempo run workout video
I have watched you pain cave video but would love to see what your program at home looks like.. your gym program, how often, how varied, how you do swimming in the endless pool compared to open water and pool sets
I'd like to see you stop by and run the trails with me at Indiana Dunes on your way through. 🙂👍
Would love to see you do the Everesting challenge on Alpe du Zwift! That's my plan in November.
Lionel, do more Zwift races and record them. That will spice things up while on quarantine . P.s can you do the everest challenge on Zwift?
More Zwift races!!!!! Enjoyed those the most recently
From my perspective, i'd just like to see the steps you take to develop, what your training philosophy is, and most importantly, how can I (as an average Joe) learn from your experience to make myself better/faster/stronger! NO LIMITS ;)
I’d love to see some colabs/crossovers with other TH-cam pros. Lagerstrom and Gaimon would be epic! Or get Wurfy on just for some bants.
5k all out TT would be an awesome watch!!!!
Lionel: IRONMAN Cozumel it´s a GO! Late November 2020! Confirmed by the Island Mayor!
Come race the C3 series in Caledon or the year end 70.3 in sept!!!!
We need another golf video! Let's see you hit the driver and get some distance stats.
yes show us your strength training routine with some explanations of what the aim of each exercise (eg injury prevention, increase strength on bike, faster swim etc( is with sets and reps etc.
I would love to do a live zwift workout made by you !!
I'm a new subscriber was wondering whats size cranks you use and have you experimented much with different crank lengths? I apologize if you have covered this topic in past video's thanks!
The St. George marathon opened up 500 more slots and added a half marathon. It is scheduled 2 weeks after the Ironman.
Would you consider hosting rides or runs on Zwift? Regarding training content perhaps you can explain why you are doing a specific workout.
Vids of u doing normal training outside in the bike is stuff I always love to see
gear reviews would be cool, maybe some stuff oriented towards beginner triathletes who want to get to your level and how that pathway works?
We would love to see some training tips type of videos, Lionel!
Would love to see you take on some fitness world records that are a bit less ‘mainstream’ velodrome 1hr...followed by beer mile? Followed by ...
It would be really cool to see how you would develop a training plan..setting the goals.
If the public is allowed to attend, I would definitely head to Milton to watch your national record attempt!
This would be pretty sick! I would definitely make the 3 hour drive.
Hi. May you can film which 3 Sessions makes you faster in swimming....cheers From Austria 😀👍
A vlog style video of a day on your life would be really cool
reason for going back: maintain OHIP status? haha love the videos!!
Pick the most sought after Strava segment on your local bike path in Canada, get on your TT bike and blow it up. Full gas for 10 to 15 miles.
what does your training look like and the structure ? are you base building or what ? videos about that would be great
I would be very interested to see a 'what I eat in a day' sort of video, with supplements etc.
Come to Niagara, you could probably Everest in Effingham
A week of training would be good to see currently whilst there's no races coming up anytime soon!
How can you live without Talbot...or even worse how can we??
Please make a video on how you chose and purchase your equipment
So close to that 100,000 mark!
An Everest is 303 times up Malden hill in Windsor FYI
Hope you will race in Denmark at some point :)!
Ooh, i'm sure this hour in hell will do so much good to ironman and half-ironman bike leg too, hope you an also check the differences between absolute prayingmantiis /anthony costes+joe skipper/ vs jan frodeno flat positions in velodrome too..
What about some content on your approach to diet/nutrition/supplements ?
Welcome back to Detroit
Any news on Ironman St. George? I heard the city is still planning on it.
Welcome home ✌️🇨🇦✌️
Would love to see you race Phil Gaimon up Mount Lemon, would make good content
Dude you look so well, maybe not racing for a while has helped you get some good recovery? Anyway now that's over I can't wait to follow the hour record attempt journey!
LS come do Great Floridan Triathlon 140.6 with us Oct...
