Congratulations, so glad you had your redemptive birth! Our bodies are amazing when we don’t add unnecessary interventions into the natural cascade of labor. I had my unmedicated 2nd hospital birth after an induction 1st with 2 failed epidurals and will be doing a homebirth with #3 in September!

Non pitocin active labor contractions with a second baby can be very mild. My daughter had her 2nd baby in triage 13 minutes after walking in the door
