Heading to Iceland in 1 week for a 12 days ring road drive in a camper van with the wife and my two girls, 11 (turning 12 while we're there) and 6. Bringing my Air 2S and am really curious if you have any tips. Especially on settings used. Like were you always shooting in D-LOG and color correcting later, or was it possible to shoot good footage in Auto mode, because I have dealt with color correction yet. Will figure out how to message you. Thanks for an awesome, inspiring video!
Thank you so much! I decided not to shoot in dlog and just color corrected later. However, my tip to you would be to shoot in dlog, your footage will look much better. Another tip I would give you regarding shooting is to make sure to use the ND filters that the Air 2S provides and to shoot in manual. Hope that helps

Hey quick question, did you actually have to ask for permission to fly in some areas like Skogafoss? Or no one actually cares about it there since the waterfall makes more noise than the drone itself? Planning a trip there next year for the first time so I wanna know beforehand, iceland is beautiful
@@allenchang2153 Well there is definitely no drone sign near Skogafoss, maybe you missed it. It is also forbidden to fly near Svartifoss since it's in Vatnajökull National Park. Great footage though 👍

@@dawidszadurski7005 d-log looks smoother and more cinematic this video very loosely compares d-log and hlg th-cam.com/video/p-SFtDjFIBo/w-d-xo.html just the two first clips. they look almost exactly the same but if you look close you will see the second clip looks a tiny bit sharper.

What LUTs were you using or how did you color grade?
I didn't use any LUTs I just adjusted the basic color settings and used the color wheels in premiere pro.

If there was a drone prohibited sign, I wouldn't fly in that area.

HLG gives a sharper image, also record 5.4k export 4k going to give sharper image than shooting 4k
