Ive noticed that people tend to take more daring shots with the missile, it still pulls and functions like an aim9L(I assume its because the smokeless motor) but turns off its seeker head for a moment when it sees flares.(while indont know for how long) Once a side on aspect has been obtained. From 2+km only a specific strategy can be employed to defend from it.

ive no idea while ppl include front aspect IR missile shots missing, like.. what the fuck you expect? from front aspect, a single flare is more than enough, you think people are blind and not see an incoming missile right in front of their eyes? :D
I put it in because I was using it like a 9L. It was missing in some circumstances without flaring, such as the first match clip. I didn't want to show just getting a streak of kills with it because people would think it was too good. And yeah, people are blind lmao, I do front shots all the time from under a km and no one can dodge it.

I wrote it because I see people on youtube that just dont understand that hit or miss with IR missile front aspect close range has simply very little to do with missile performance and is mostly just a demonstration of whether the guy on receiving end is paying that minimum attention, to either pre-flare or just flare in time. You know what I mean.
