this video made me cry, I relate to Komi so much because I really struggle with talking and socialising and it makes me so insecure whenever I talk to people. this anime made me feel so understood and this actually helped me become more of a social person, I finally have friends and its just so surprising for me that this anime really helped me with my social anxiety. thank you for making this video bro

I’m jealous of her ms girl just gets everything her way like I would want to walk up to a coffee shop and have my order made without talking

As a selective mute, Komi embodies much of my life.
I also spent 2nd to 8th grade having writing and nodding/shaking as my only forms of communication.
Honestly, Komi Can't Communicate was the most relatable anime I have every watched, beautiful as well.
As for my personality, I am an ambivert? Which I guess is a term for people that are in between extrovert and introvert. In my case, I am extroverted but can become very extroverted with certain people.

This is really why I watched having a hard time to communicate and still now I felt her anxiety to certain situations especially talking to people and to know that there is at least someone out there that can understand you is great in it's own way 😊

I can really relate to you in the first part, I'm a sophomore, and I've always been the quiet kid, never had real, positive friends, and I still can't even ask my parents for something as simple as if we have anything for dessert.

As a would be junior but am sophomore, same, but I did have friends like these, I just lost them on New Years. And last part, I know right??? I question how other kids manage to ask their parents for anything they want.

As soon as I started to read the manga I recommended it to my BFF, she's a kick-ass beautiful woman, but most people can't see past that; that she has her own insecurities and self-doubts.

Give Watamote a shot. That anime is a waaay more realistic depiction. And darker (as it should be).

Unlike Komi i dont have problems talking to others , my only problem is that i can never tell the truth , i am fine making jokes and lying to others but whenever some asked me to talk more about myself my mouth just starting to shiver and my braind go completely blank . I dont know why but this problem of mine is making my life more difficult : i can never ask some one any true question cuz that is basicly asking for the truth , whenever my teacher ask me to speak out loud i could never do it cuz it is telling the truth ,... Just ask me to do anything related to truths and i cant do it .
Still i feel really related to Komi cuz he have almost the same problem as me , also if there's any of you guys have the same problem as me pls give me an advice , that will defenly help :(

I would start with small things. This comment is you telling the truth so that is one step towards your end goal. Start telling the truth out loud to no one then try to tell strangers who don’t care the truth.

Komi is not relatable at all to me. I don't like her. She is not even a believable character. She can't get a single word out yet manages to be very popular (without realising it), be at a normal school (she would be in a special needs school for sure). And why? Because she looks nice. Thats all.
A "good version of Komi, that actually is human" would be the main character of Watamote. THAT is how a mental problem is handled the right way.

Because half the population is socially awkward

  • @yudadicki7764
    @yudadicki7764 2 ปีที่แล้ว +18

No she is not. She is far from relatable. I don't understand why people keep saying this.
This girl having an entire lineage a communication problem and yet all of them is good looking, and all of them are praised by the society they're in. Yes very relatable indeed.
Nothing about this character is relatable. Not her look, not her inability to speak, not how the society treat her.nothing.
Saying u can relate to her just because u r having a trouble on socializing when u r younger is just dumb. She is generic which run on her entire lineage, and u?
u r socially awkward there is a huge different between those two. Even the way society treat her is just based on her appeance. This is just so shallow. I never see a school student so beautiful and treated like a goddess.
There is a reason why this series not doing so good on japan. And the reason is obvious, she is far from relatable. Especially for japanese people.
The only thing this show tell u is.
No matter what is inside as long as u ungodly beautiful people will treat u like a queen no matter what.
Rip that beauty, and this show won't get peeked by anyone.

Tbh that was my reaction, too. I sadly see a perfect person who gets so much praise that it doesn't seem so much of a problem to her to never talk :/ literally lucks her way through life which is a privilege. Maybe its a glass half-full/half-empty situation *shrug*

You can’t just tell that to people with social anxiety, its like telling to a person who’s scared of spider just don’t be afraid, its like like telling an allergic person to just not be allergic, there’re actually people who have “absurd” fears, that’s why there’re phobias and anxiety.
