I was aware I could use a hair dryer, but I chose to buy a heat gun, because there was less chance my girlfriend would steal it, do her hair real nice, go out on the town & then cheat on me. better safe than sorry. am I right?
Hey mate, the plastic bash plate was okay, depends how hard you think you’ll be on it. After sliding it over a lot of logs it eventually broke one of its mounting holes, which I could fix, but it was never perfect. For the price plastic is good but if you want something to last forever I would go for an aluminium one
Think I put my front axle in wrong went in way too hard and the disc rubs really bad and the whee can wiggle (brand new wheel bearings so I don’t understand why it wiggles)
Hey Jack, great build you put together there. I bought myself a 2011CRF250R and also want to get more into enduro riding. Did you use the stocksuspension with different settings, and if so do they work good? I havent watched every Ep. if you might have explained it in a different one. Cheers!
I didn't personally revalve the suspension, my skill level isn't high enough that I could justify the expensive suspension tuning, and I have gotten quite used to the motocross suspension. maybe in the future I will but I don't mind the stiffness.
Hard to explain through a comment on TH-cam, but the plug that goes to the map switch has a black wire, that is power that you can connect to your headlight
Are you using the oem stator? I also have a 2015 crf250r, and I put an led light bar on it. I drew power from the led on the kill switch. Everyone told me it will fry my electrical and ruin my bike so I took it off but it worked fine when I had it on so I’m not sure what to think.
Absolutely loved this series. I watched from beginning to end and loved the whole process of two broke down bikes to a spectacular looking enduro bike. Good stuff man.
Brilliant build!! The bike looks stunning!!
thank you!
The bike looks mint.ove your work 👍
thanks mate, glad you like it
Love it looks great! Now some videos of you riding single track!
check my newer videos for some single track footage, none on this bike though unfortunately, didn't own a GoPro at the time. thanks for watching
Awesome build Jack, looking good mate. 👍👍🤙🤙
Thanks!
I hate to tell you this but you don't need to specifically buy a heat gun, when I did my graphics I just used a hair dryer

So good mate! How has the plastic bash plate been? Tossing up between alloy or plastic. Cheers

What's the next build
1999 RMX250, very soon!
Think I put my front axle in wrong went in way too hard and the disc rubs really bad and the whee can wiggle (brand new wheel bearings so I don’t understand why it wiggles)
it definitely sounds like you installed the axle wrong. hope you figure it out. plenty of information on the internet on how to do it. good luck!
Why orange hubs? Some white, grey, or black hubs would have looked better. Plus some white ribs on the seat cover would have been sick.
Amante Apasionado they’re gold, they might look orange is some footage though. And why?... because I wanted to I suppose.

an R's suspension is pants for enduro they need a revalve... too stiff n springy
lovely bike this is though. man after my own heart wtih a honda haha.

What's the wheel sizes? Do you know if there is a way to make the front rims 19 inch and rear 17
21 front and 18 rear, I'm sure there is a way to adapt another bikes wheels to get those sizes you want, or buy new rims and spokes
How do I figure out the spoke length ? I found some rims and spokes on AliExpress but don't know what length spokes to buy
@@sujangthapa5782 I actually don't know, sorry
Hi, sorry but how did you connect the lights? I don't know how to do it

I am using the stock stator. you should be completely fine to run a light bar off it. L.E.D is very low draw so it will be fine.
Crf 250R year?
2015
yo man,can you tell me the gear ratio ? how many T on rear and how many front
I only went up 2 teeth in the rear compared to the stock gearing, just so it would be a bit snappier down low
How long did this actually take Jack?
6-7 months
