you might say that no one asked for more 1x64, but i did want more. because i have stockholm syndrome from being forced to play 1x64 after me and a friend watched the first video. still stronger than any us marine for the pain of doing it again also thank u for the funnies. we now also spend 10 extra minutes every map that has both mushrooms + compressed gold just to have "Mushroom! We're Rich!" embedded itself into our skulls (outside of pissing off mission control as always).
At 1:09, you mention that "so many spawn that they don't know what to do." Funnily enough, that's exactly true! There's a hard aggro cap such that only 20 bugs can be aggroed on one player at any given time. It's the reason why you can be surrounded by a swarm of bugs and only be bitten a couple times. If you want to crank it up to 11, check out the Mission Content Randomizer mod's Death Mode! It removes that cap entirely, so every single one of the bugs will aggro. Would recommend, it makes Hazard 5 feel like Hazard 6. Hazard 1x64 would be crazy with it.
Nari here, 1x64 is unlikely, at least not without a long gap. By the end of it we just kinda got used to its nonsense and stopped caring as much and just started playing the game normally (with some mild added annoyance). It didn’t make for great footage and we don’t want to not have fun milking the successful thing dry.
So if platforms are failing to be generated it means one of two things a lot of terrain is being created or destroyed, the exploders constantly exploding probably caused that. (From someone that has played way too much viewer spawns)
A different video had a swarmer tunnel hit by a fatboy nuke and it just looked like a waterfall from the ridiculous amount of swarmers spawning and then instantly dying again.
they mentioned it, but unfortunately dred spawns are unaffected, and since dred spawns suppress regular spawns, it would just be them trying to kill a dred with weapons designed for horde clear
There’s a spawn cap. On something like swarmageddon there’d just be so many bugs spawning that they wouldn’t be able to do anything. If you hit the spawn cap, the oldest bugs just blip out of existence.

I just wanted you to know that I actually managed it… 7 times! 6x2 is actually pretty fun if you learn what to do and what builds and team comp to bring. Definitely not for everyone though.
As far as im aware they are both different modes of the same mod, so you can cant do both simultaneously. Also bulks dont normally spawn in haz 1, so there would be no scaling to haz 1. Although yes, im pretty sure that would at least make the game unplayable. Both because of lag and because youd just immediatly die.

The loki in every clip it appears in is using Explosive Chemical Rounds which is comically effective if you get the boom. The only real problem with it was getting 3 locks on the same bug.
