This whole thing is just so confusing to me. I wouldn't have any clue as to how to identify as something or someone other than myself. I went to a vocational high school and studied automotive technology, I was still all girl, but by today's standards people might assume I was identifying as a man. I also listen to old school rap, r&b and hip hop and have naturally curly hair, I still identify as myself, which just happens to be a super pale white girl. How does one identify as something they have never been? I just don't get it.
Sad part is that this is an intelligent woman who could’ve made gigantic strides for the black community as a white woman who understands our communities issues.
White, Mexican, Asian...I don't give a 💩! She has done amazing things to this community and now I'm he Black community has tossed her to the side like she hasn't done anything???? But most of your asses are kissing Trump's ass like he has done so much for the country!!!! 😠😠😠😠😠 #CantHaveYourCakeAndEatItToo
Jennifer Charles you’re exactly right. Just like you can be a male who wants to help support female issues, but throwing on a dress, pretending to be a woman and expecting everyone to identify you as a female also doesn’t work.
Yes you're right. He remained very professional & nonjudgemental throughout this entire interview. He did excellent! I couldn't have remained non biased through the entire thing the way he did..not gonna even lie!
Lili That is because she isn’t THAT good. Being Black gives her instant credibility, upon which she built her activist career-in a half-ass way. Initially, though, she sued Howard U (an HBCU) for discriminating against her for being White and, since then, she has been benefitting from Affirmative Action-based scholarships and employment opportunities, right? That shows you she couldn’t make it as a White woman for equality.
Because the white community would look at her as a "sellout" and a N-word lover. Whenever a white person stands up for the black community, they are shunned by many whites.
Timothy Clarke all of Humanity came from Africa, but those of European descent lost that Genealogical keystone hundreds of thousands of years ago, there is but a minute trace of White People’s African descent, and it doesn’t give us the right to say we are black when we sure as hell ain’t.
I had an ex who was half black but extremely light skinned. He could have passed for white. He looked her color. But some shots of her in certain lighting, I can't see her being black at all
She never would have had these problems had she remained who she really is, a white lady and had just supported black individuals, organizations, had her black children and lived her life.. The pretense, deception lies and fraud is what has people against her. She never apologized. I think, if she would some may forgive her. Apologize to the NAACP and those you deceived..people may forgive her. I saw her Netflix doc'...and I felt a little bit for her because it seems her parents were horrible abusive people. The other adoptive children said they were abusive.. so it stems from a lot of that.
Apologize for what? Rachel is more real than half of so-called black women in America today. Black women with their fake hair and weave and contact lenses, give me a break. She was actually proactively doing something to help the black community where most of the black women that have a problem with her isn't doing anything but running their mouths. Not angry with you Cali Girl, (not that you care anyway) but I just don't think she really owes anyone an apology. Wish more black people would feel like she does.
I think she got psychologically damaged after the abuse she and her adopted sister suffered. Imagine having a sibling and seeing them being abused and they are black but the parents are white, and you can do nothing about it. This is probs her way of doing something about it.
Agreed. She made the situation worse because of her family problems and the need to escape some harsh psychological reality she associated with being white. However, the fact that she's been able to take on another identity and mask it with some philosophical rhetoric is what gets to people. It exempts her from feeling any empathy or exercising the black consciousness she may claim to have. That's offensive and self-serving. She can be pro-Black and be an ally but she needs to make peace with her "brothers and sisters".
@@matrix23225 so white people dont wear contacts and put weave into their natural hair. White women also braid their hair like black woman. Shoot a white woman will try to pet a black woman to feel their braids. You are referring to only one type of black individual vs many.
@@LXW-Arts : You clearly missed the entire point of my comment. I was referring to why Rachel Dolezal doesn't owe an apology to black women. Also, if you read my comment,no where did I say ALL black women. You get side tracked easily, huh? lol
She has issues...her parents were and are clearly nuts. I feel sorry for her and her adopted siblings. I wish she could have coped with everything somehow else.
@yeetboi ty In switching genders, you can use hormones and other stuff you need, there's no such thing as a culture of men and women, if a girl or a boy who's not transgender wants to be feminine or a masculine, they're not appropriating them.
@@cushite2223 yeah I'm Chinese.. but I wasn't born in China, dont have any Chinese relatives or genetic connection... but I'm 100% Chinese..because I like noodles...
Cushite black women can have naturally straight hair though. So what’s your point? Besides, straightening your is not comparable to what this woman did🤦🏾♀️
DeviantDespot yes, and it's absurd to think that you can just believe yourself into something you're not. This is the exact ideology that some folks apply to transgender or more ridiculous, to "otherkin" (people that think they're part animal) Does this perspective give you a little insight to the fraction of people that don't disapprove of gays but also don't think that legal rights or opportunities for women should extend to people that's done so little to transition as to only change their outer appearance?
In both those movies, those characters were white, idiot. And they were actors playing white men in the movies- I think Tom Cruise was deeply aware he wasn't actually a Civil War vet. It's like saying Eddie Murphy was delusional enough to think he was a donkey in Shrek.
I think she also thrives off of the attention and woe is me act why keep putting yourself in the limelight and publish a book under your old name ? The nerve of this woman 😑
EXACTLY. THIS CHIC IS NOTHING MORE THAN A LIAR & A CON. I WATCHED THE INTERVIEW W/ HER PARENTS & LIL BROTHER'S, AND I BELIEVE THEM! SHE MAY NOT AGREE ON THEIR RELIGION & WAYS SHE WAS RAISED BY STRICT PARENTS BUT THEY DID SOMETHING RIGHT BECAUSE RACHEL IS HIGHLY INTELLIGENT.. BUT DAMN DID IT BACK FIRE, CUZ SHE'S ALSO VERY DISTURBED! RACHEL NEEDS HELP. SHE'S SO FULL OF SHIT IT'S ROLLING DOWN HER LEG!~
@@hunibuni What are you talking about? Being South African is a nationality...People of different races live in every country. We're talking about claiming to be a race that you aren't.
@@johnlemon1977 thought the comparison was obvious, alleged "stolen racial identity" vs stolen land and national identity through colonization. A benign and malignant version of the same thing.
@@hunibuni No, the comparison wasn't obvious. The South african identity has been formed on the basis of the diverse cultures and races in its country. No identity was stolen. While colonization took place, different cultures and values were introduced to the country which is what it is made up of today. After democracy all these cultures merged to create South African Culture. South African culture incorporates African culture along with Afrikaner and Indian culture. I think you're getting confused here. Yes we understand the indigenous south africans were colonized, but these were the ways of war and conquering before peace, and subsequently that created a diverse south africa, which is what our identity is today. Your argument is like saying African American are not truly Americans. Yes they are, because of the generations of their people who have lived there. Now we're not talking about how the black race became American, but you can't deny that they are Americans. I think you're confused about race and nationality
So a black girl wear fake wigs. FAKE ALL... Lens and dye their hair with an unmatch blonde hair..but she cant.....black girls try to be white all time...Most Fat ppl wear work out clothes 24/7 and they just over eat,not exercise...ALSO SHE DOES HAVE BLACK ON HER LIKE ANY OF US..
TraRob-EastSide on all accounts you’d be correct. But because of her narcissistic attributes they far overshadow her motherly instinct. You see that she ruined her adopted sons’ Howard College future and she’s isolated her youngest son and has made him have to grow up and be the parent almost solving her problems.
So her falsely applying for grants and other government subsidies as a black woman, taking money and other resources away from another black female doesn’t bother you?
M Pearce: Proof and names of the black women she took resources away from, no one is missing out on government programs because of Ms. Dolezal, nice try pal..
@@Tiberius291 They have a valid point, I mean I feel kinda dumb explaining this bc I think it should be obvious, but yes she lied just like Elizabeth Warren about her race and took MONEY for college. It should be obvious that we can't give a name of whom she took this away from, but it should have been AN AFRICAN AMERICAN who got that college money. She didnt deserve that . I dont hate her but it's a fact she took that opportunity away from a true person of color.
Sashy Pooh: I guess I'm impressed with the fact that she's committed to being black even though she isn't, it's not a one time charade. I respect your opinion, but I still say no one lost out on anything because of her, there's plenty of mula and opportunity for everyone. 💰
She didn't say "our". I believe she meant "we" as a country, haven't had reparations and only moments later she says "no I would not get a check, I don't identify as African-American". I don't know how the hell you missed that in your rush to write what you thought you heard (incorrectly!).
Not saying I agree with what she did but what’s the difference between her and a black woman doing everything they can to be white? Bleaching skin, getting smaller noses, long weaves, color contacts and all the other stuff that goes with it. ie... Lil Kim, Tiny so on and so fourth.
Mom The Ebayer Black women don’t consciously try to become white, they try to become what they believe is beautiful. and that is white media brainwashing us to believe that blackness is not beautiful. Therefore there is a subconscious belief that lighter skin, thinner noses and anything related to “white” is beautiful. Although all is beautiful as we made from god.
I’m pretty sure black people who choose to bleach want to be light skin like Beyoncé not Kristen Stewart’s complexion 😭 they’re both wrong I guess but one is due to colonisation setting out the ideal beauty standards and brain washing black people into thinking they have to be light skinned to be pretty however the same standard isn’t there for white people so it doesn’t make sense for them and there’s no proper excuse , small noses aren’t white features that’s what white peoples make you believe lol there’s plenty of black people with straight small noses & naturally long hair
callalilly1988 that's the only thing youre totally right - as he said himself shes totally privileged - its not like a black person or person of colour can pretend to be white, to be able to of so is to come from a place where you can choose. Its a tough area to get into tho I agree, I cant get my head aroun dit
Ganjaseed she's more manipulative than anything, she speaks n circles witch to most people sounds like she's lying but to her she's just idk explaining herself.... Lol
I don't understand America. Why does the fact that she lied about her race cancel out everything she has done for black people? She genuinely cares about the black community, and she wants to make a difference. I don't think she deserves all this hate.
And you don't have to identify with ANY race as it's a fake construct made to separate people. So, what's the problem? She didn't buy into the correct delusion? LOL
She lie about being black, she took jobs away from black people, she took scholarships away from black people. If she cared about black people the way you say, she would understand why BLACK PEOPLE are frustrated and she would know that you don’t have to look black, be black, act the way certain black cultures act to support black people
@@Eric-tq3vn you can't just "identify" with a race. It's something that is obviously determined by your parents. If you have white parents then you'll be white, it's that simple😒😒😒😒
I watched the Netflix doc on Rachel, and it was my 22 year old daughter who, I believe, saw the truth. "Mom, I think she has some rare version of DID." I thought about it and Rachel's words rung in my head. Rachel, with tears, saying she could never be that "white person" again. I believe she has so much unresolved trauma, and when she stepped up to the plate to care for her younger black brother, she became a "strong black woman" and she banished the traumatized white part of herself to the darkest shadows of her psyche. I truly believe that she completely identifies with the "black persona" that she created. I believe she has a mental illness, and I am sad that someone who did so much for the black community, has been maligned to the extent that she has been. I am actually astonished that more has not been said about what I believe is obvious. Rachel is a woman with unresolved trauma, who experienced adverse childhood experiences, and disassociated from her "white persona," created a "black persona" that she came to believe was herself. DID, or dissociative identity disorder seems like a possibility. When she speaks, her slow speech, especially when asked questions about her white upbringing, also leads me to believe that she is dissociated from this part of herself, and she has fully become a "black woman" in her mind. Which to me, says she is not lying, she is just mentally disordered. I wish people had more understanding and did not drag her and her family through the coals so harshly. I do get it, it must be incredibly frustrating, as a black person, to have someone put on "black face" and do a whole charade, I do get it. AND, I also feel for Rachel Dolezal, whom I believe has legitimate mental health disorder and needs treatment, not hate.
Right , also Her parents adopted 4 black Boys when she was younger so she had 4 black brothers and she had fall in love with them respect It was their sister nobody talks about that part
I think her and her sister are. Her adopted black sister is who was abused. In the Netflix doc she showed scars on her legs from their parents beating her too. Rachel Dolezal might be a really weird white lady who masqueraded as black, but I think her parents and bio brother are awful people. The two things aren't mutually exclusive.
@G Clarion wtf are you even talking about? This isn't a trial and we aren't being shown evidence. There's no burden of proof in a TH-cam comment section.
@DonKingKong awe thats a realy good way to look at it I would never have thought about that possibly its sad tho I do belive they were molested and abused aswell 😢
Crazy will exist regardless of what narrative is being pushed out, it'll just adapt to whatever the narrative is. Don't let them ruin it for the rest of us.
I like how the black interviewer held his own and asked tough questions. A lot of interviewers through soft ball questions, but he didn't. Made the interview worth watching.
"so what's the difference between this in gender reassignment?" Not much, both is pretty iffy. But there are differences, for example a typical female brain is different to a typical male brain. There is no such thing as a "black" brain, so to say that you were born with the wrong ethnicity is just fucking retarded, since that would mean that your brain and your body do not match, which is completely and entirely impossible in the case of "transracialism(?)" :D
jane Patton dafuq is wrong with u? Being transgender is feeling as if you're body does not align with your gender and wish to change that feeling. Besides, being black is not only skin deep, there are a lot of experiences and cultural aspects that go with it. You can definitely learn and mimic culture, but that doesn't mean you are. Also you can't learn your gender. Rachel Dolozeal has NEVER had to go through the hardships and experience of being black, and the fact that she claims she wants to be black with all of the positive and none of the negative is bullshit.
devinngeorge What does is feel to be white or black? Gender like you personality is fluid, your sex are the physical characteristics. Race is a combination of many many things. Gender dysphoria, what she talks about in the video, is commonly described as feeling like missing a a home they've never lived in. Experiencing a race is vastly more abstract than experiencing gender, because it's more than their physical appearance, it is about culture and the many other abstract experiences that come with it. People who are trans just feel differently on the inside than what they look on the outside, but wish to change their outside so it matches.
What commenters don't understand is that she was raised by religious fundamentalists living isolated lives away from society. No knock on religion but going to extremes can do serious damage as evidenced by Dolezal. Some people mentally break up into numerous characters like Sybil. In her case, becoming black was a survival mechanism. She should be treated not abused and shamed.
A "survival mechanism"? That's what it's called when a person sues a college for not being Black then claims to be Black? Was it survival when she lied claiming to be a victim of hate crimes? Real sistas deal with more than you or any spray tanned white woman can believe, let alone relate to. Your comment is proof.
I feel bad for her. She should've just apologized from the beginning. She could be helping the black community, she just doesn't have to be black to do that
That won't stop someone from identifying with blacks if they like the culture. Caucusus mountains had many race origins did you know that. 50 ethnic groups total.
I don't think people are offended because she "identifies as black". The bad thing is that she did it to get sympathy from others and to get opportunities for her greedy self in her career. She should have said "I am white but feel like an African American at heart bacause I admire them and they inspire me to be strong and hardworking." She could've been a great example for others to follow, but she chose to lie instead.
I feel like this is a manifestation of her own insecurities / possible personality disorder mixed with white guilt. Very interesting but I do agree she doesn't seem like a "bad " person
You can't just decide to be a grape. Either you were always a grape and happened to be born in a human's body, or your guilty of species appropriation.
I watched the documentary on her on Netflix and honestly is made me feel even LESS sympathetic towards her, her children suffered a lot because of her actions and you could see that they still felt anger because of it but she didn’t seem to care or even acknowledge what she did.
I don't think you can compare that to blackface, blackface was done to make fun of black people, she was doing it because she admired black culture and wanted to be black herself. Also I think she wanted to belong to a community. Her idea of transrace is very weird, but I think she didn't do it out of bad intentions and even fought for the black community for years. So just shunning her and telling her she is a bad person is very harsh I think
Hans Peter Really? So much that she utilized changing her appearance to get a full scholarship to a well recognized Historical Black College that could have really benefited a true Black Woman in this society!
No. The race thing would still be considered as BS. There’s nothing medical and no scientific basis for being « transracial », when there is for being transsexual.
TBH I've heard a lot of people say that comparing her to someone that is transgender is an insult to transgendered people but I really don't see how it is. To me it's pretty much the same thing, except there is no surgery she can get to "become" black.
imo it's really not, you can't choose to be trans, she is CHOOSING to identify as black, to crimp her hair and tan her skin. She is using the language that is used to describe being transgender/ non binary in the sense that she says that she 'identifies as black' and says race is 'fluid' but we all know that's a bit bs. She certainly has a point, race is an unnecessary construct literally only used to divide people during the times of colonisation. But the way in which she is trying to combat this is just ridiculous. She wasn't born 'black' or identifying as 'black' like transgender people may identify as their true gender whilst being born as a different sex. She is using her CHOSEN identity to make a political statement about race and to support her sister's abuse and trauma, but she's suggesting that to support black people, you have to BE BLACK which is honestly a terrible message to spread, because a black issue should be everybody's issue. If there was an instance of police brutality,, you don't need to TURN BLACK to support BLM. I just think she's a bit silly and this interviewer could have been a bit more direct in challenging her so-called 'blackness'. [p.s. i didn't mean to attack you opinion, I just wanted to put this out there as a point of view!]
Personally I find this weird..... But why is it ok to bully and ridicule this woman when if we did this to a transgender it would be considered a hate crime! What makes identifying as a totally different sex more acceptable?
@@laurenhartley5083 LOL, only a man could be so blind to his own privilege. Every "trans"woman is taking away from biological women. Biological women are being discriminated against, abused, mutilated and murdered worldwide because of their sex, overwhelmingly by men. We have safe spaces for a reason. Transidentifying males takes away our spaces, our safety, our achiements in sports, our roles and positions. Just look at Caitlyn Jenner being "Woman of the Year", transidentifying men being "the first female CEO", sexual predators "identifying" as women to be housed in women's prisons, etc
This is such a dumb comment and the fact that its still up says a lot about you. Gender and race are both social constructs but they are not the same. Gender is NOT passed down, when a couple is expecting a child they can't choose what the baby will be. However, if two black people are expecting a child, that child will definitely be black. Race is passed down and gender is not.
Anyone can empathize with and champion good causes for another race... I got no problem with that and it can even be quite a noble pursuit... But please don't let "transracial" or "racially fluid" become a thing... just for the love of God please...
Races will become more and more mixed with every generation and ultimately so many people will have degrees of mixed race in their family tree that the terms white black asian will be archaic.
Transracial is a legitimate term in the adoptee community and I can imagine that people who are mixed race do actually have a lit identity issues. Unfortunately, the publicity from Rachel’s story have tainted how we talk about these stories.
kevin a Such a fluid conceptualization of race/ethnicity would be particularly be disconcerting in today’s identify politics-filled society in the U.S. Asian students have already learned not to disclose their race/ethnicity on college applications, in order to circumvent the higher criteria top American universities have set for them (although most of them have distinctly Asian last names, which makes this non-disclosure tactic useless). Right now, the trend is to accuse ALL White people of being privileged and racist. Given Eliz Warren’s situation, I’d imagine more and more White people will begin to claim minority statuses (e.g., my grandfather was Black/Latinx/Native American, etc. etc.), so as to fight back against the ridiculous blanket accusation that all White are privileged and racist. If somebody were to claim that one of his/her great grandparents, whom they have never met, was Black, no documentations are required for them to check that “Black” box and, thus, we would have to honor this identity.
I'm amazed and fascinated that we can ignore the realities of sex and gender while simultaneously recognizing race as a genetic fact. How is possible to believe in the fluidity of one and not the other?
What yall don't get is that SHE IS STRUGGLING LIKE HELL because she identifies as black but folks won't accept her. Deanoss Last Here’s a few examples of a long list of things invented by black people: Traffic light, closed circuit tv (surveillance), laser cataract surgery, 3-D special effects, the blood bank, refrigerated trucks for transporting frozen goods, spot test for identifying explosives, Electret microphone, Heart pacemaker, ironing board, street sweeper trucks, the first surgeon to successfully seperate craniopagus (conjoint) twins was Ben Carson, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning and other incredible inventions that will take forever to name. You see, you’re taught a history that marginalises and diminishes the achievements of certain groups of people that you grow up thinking that those groups have not contributed or invented anything. White people write history from a perspective that makes them think that they’re the only ones who have ever invented anything. Mind you this does not include research, theories, ideologies e.t.c nor does it include other black inventors outside of America that are still within the African Diaspora. I don’t blame you for your ignorance and lack of knowledge because you were educated in a Eurocentric and inherently discriminatory education system that didn’t teach you your WHOLE country’s history but please open your mouth less and mind more. I kind of feel sorry for her. So she wanted to be black so much that she pretended to be. Who cares? She did a lot for the black community and she wasn't hurting anyone, so cut her some slack. No reason to just keep embarrassing her to death over it. It's not like this is the first time this sort of thing has happened, for decades light skinned black women would try and "pass" for white women. I'm not condoning anyone lying, but it seems wanted so much to be black that she convinced herself that she was. It seems like there is some type of underlying mental illness going on here. I just don't understand why people have to keep acting like she is awful because she was actually working really hard to help the black community, so at least she was doing something positive with her delusions. I'm pretty sure she's learned her lesson by now.
*Eh -- leave rachel alone. There are lots of "black" people in spanish-speaking countries who call themselves white and would freak out if you called them black. I've met asians in the U.S. who call themselves white despite zero genetic, cultural or linguistic ties to europe. There are black skinned, frizzy haired people in east africa who call themselves white. There are people in the u.s. who have black ancestry yet live as "white" (including a hatred of "blacks"). All those people "identify" as "white". Yet when Rachel identifies with "black" everyone goes crazy?*
I think there's an aspect of her desire to be black in the emotional (etc?) trauma she endured as a child. Separating herself from it with this new identity. But she's clearly very intelligent, very creative and talented artist, and the more I listen to her responses/arguments, the more it seems to me she/this is harmless. I think ppl need to "forgive" her, leave her the hell alone, and let her be who and how she wants to be. If she feels in her mind that she is "black," I don't see it as any different than a guy that feels like he's actually a woman. Live and let live.
Toria Rose Thank you for t saying this. Seeing all of the hatr she has received (and especially the hate toward her children) hurts my heart. I agree with you.

Jennifer Charles exactly. She should of just been honest
Are you for real. Why didn't anybody tell me that!
Jennifer Charles you’re exactly right. Just like you can be a male who wants to help support female issues, but throwing on a dress, pretending to be a woman and expecting everyone to identify you as a female also doesn’t work.

**triggering intensifies**
Why couldn’t she just support the black community their rights as a white woman??
Because I don’t think that was her goal. She was more interested in being famous.
@@nondescriptnyc The amazing thing about that is that minorities go on about white privilege. But here, the complete opposite occurred.
That makes no sense
Because the white community would look at her as a "sellout" and a N-word lover. Whenever a white person stands up for the black community, they are shunned by many whites.

I had an ex who was half black but extremely light skinned. He could have passed for white. He looked her color. But some shots of her in certain lighting, I can't see her being black at all
She’s not black. Are you guys dumb? (That’s a proper complete sentence.)

In switching genders, you can use hormones and other stuff you need, there's no such thing as a culture of men and women, if a girl or a boy who's not transgender wants to be feminine or a masculine, they're not appropriating them.

@@hunibuni No, the comparison wasn't obvious. The South african identity has been formed on the basis of the diverse cultures and races in its country. No identity was stolen. After democracy all these cultures merged to create South African Culture. South African culture incorporates African culture along with Afrikaner and Indian culture.
Although all is beautiful as we made from god.
jasaye JESS GAL TELL EM
I’m pretty sure black people who choose to bleach want to be light skin like Beyoncé not Kristen Stewart’s complexion 😭 they’re both wrong I guess but one is due to colonisation setting out the ideal beauty standards and brain washing black people into thinking they have to be light skinned to be pretty however the same standard isn’t there for white people so it doesn’t make sense for them and there’s no proper excuse , small noses aren’t white features that’s what white peoples make you believe lol there’s plenty of black people with straight small noses & naturally long hair
Mom The Ebayer very true...
Tiny is mixed and was raised by a white woman, not really the same 🤷🏾

callalilly1988 that's the only thing youre totally right - as he said himself shes totally privileged - its not like a black person or person of colour can pretend to be white, to be able to of so is to come from a place where you can choose. stiras1 You don’t need to be black to support the black community
And you don't have to identify with ANY race as it's a fake construct made to separate people. So, what's the problem? She didn't buy into the correct delusion? LOL
She lie about being black, she took jobs away from black people, she took scholarships away from black people. @@Eric-tq3vn you can't just "identify" with a race. It's something that is obviously determined by your parents. If you have white parents then you'll be white, it's that simple😒😒😒😒
stiras1 she's living her life in black face
100% agree. i just saw the doc, and it really does seem like she is in major denial and with tons of unprocessed childhood trauma, like TONS.
She's been driven mad by anti-white hatred. Imbibed it wholesale and this is the result. Sad and cringe. The end is mercy.
Right , also Her parents adopted 4 black Boys when she was younger so she had 4 black brothers and she had fall in love with them respect It was their sister nobody talks about that part
Well said.
Interesting input.
My gut feeling tells me she's telling the truth about the child melestation....

"so what's the difference between this in gender reassignment?"
Not much, both is pretty iffy.
Ilse C what does it mean to feel like a man or woman. Kindly elaborate
devinngeorge What does is feel to be white or black?

Hey you recently posted this same comment on reddit
You don't have to be radical to be black or wear a biggie t-shirt either.
You just have to be black
As a black man I find her offensive. This is just blackfacing. She should stop and respect people how they are.
Hans Peter you should've left it at (I don't think).
If she's said she was a Black man trapped inside a white woman's body, the world would have embraced her.
That would be hysterical.
If she had said she identified as a man (transman), she would’ve been accepted
I would not embrace her tho...
No. The race thing would still be considered as BS. There’s nothing medical and no scientific basis for being « transracial », when there is for being transsexual.
What? In what world?!?
I genuinely don't hate her. I kind of want to have a conversation with her
Good point. I would like to just have a conversation and try to understand.
TBH I've heard a lot of people say that comparing her to someone that is transgender is an insult to transgendered people but I really don't see how it is. To me it's pretty much the same thing, except there is no surgery she can get to "become" black.
jane Patton Yes.
imo it's really not, you can't choose to be trans, she is CHOOSING to identify as black, to crimp her hair and tan her skin.
I don't hate Dolezal, I just think she's a stupid basic Becky who needs to STFU.
She is really talented as an artist though
shelly amor if that is her work the way she lies I have to be a doubter
Yeah, a con artist lol
She plagiarized her paintings. Look it up.

@@laurenhartley5083 👎🏾
Because gender dysphoria has been proven to be a real thing for decades

Holy shit, what a whackjob! "Black people hating me is a white conspiracy."
Tearakan shaun king?

YES INSANE? Why would anyone WANT TO BE BLACK?
I can smell you fear through the screen.
Baraborn So being black is supposed to be a bad thing?
Anyone can empathize with and champion good causes for another race... I got no problem with that and it can even be quite a noble pursuit... But please don't let "transracial" or "racially fluid" become a thing... just for the love of God please...
Races will become more and more mixed with every generation and ultimately so many people will have degrees of mixed race in their family tree that the terms white black asian will be archaic.
Kevin A.There's no filter in the black community that's why people like REACH HELL DOLEZAL and many more like her can get away with this.

She is shameful!! I am white and live in a predominantly black/spanish community. As white women we CANNOT understand how much our black sisters must endure. We can be productive and empathetic in this community but to do what she has done is truly a slap in the face to black women especially.

Deanoss Last White people stay thinking that y’all invented everything 🙄
Educate yourself and acquire knowledge beyond what is taught to you cause I guarantee you’ll discover a whole other reality out there.

@superfuresh Not really....I know a few white people who feel the same way that she does but have not went to the extent that she has. Do I agree with all that she did...hell no but do I understand her reasoning, I do. It may not make sense but seeing it from her perspective, I guess she felt that was her only way out from her toxic family.
@superfuresh I don't agree with what she did 100% but I totally understand how her personal trauma would ignite mental illness.
There is way too much to unpack from just 5 minutes of listening to her. She is a walking contradiction. I will say, her art is fantastic though. Create a new alter ego to promote your art. It shouldn’t be that much of a stretch.
That was some beautiful artwork. Why doesn't she just stop talking and start doing that stuff.
Exactly, I've said that many times. She's a gifted artist, just focus on that. I'd buy her artwork. I think it's fantastic!
True. She is extremely talented.
Well this could be an interesting P.R ploy for the artist. Hmm...

BLCK Check just like miley cyrus
She seems like a kind person who has helped a lot of people. I wish her the best.
Toria Rose Thank you for t
