Thank you I was so lucky to have grabbed the ingenuity last week at target for $17 during their circle week baby’s PT was impressed I was aware of PPA thanks for creating awareness
I think there’s a new seat out there that seems to be really good. Skip Hop Baby Ergonomic Activity Floor Seat (super long name). I am tempted to get that one! Would love to see what you think of it.
My baby is 5 months doesn't fully sit alone yet. Now he wants to sit. Could i invest in a Tripp Trapp to sit him while i do something . Instead of buying the upseat. Mainly putting those $100 toward a high chair instead. Does the high chair give them that pp&a you are looking for?
I had a concern I wanted to address. We purchased the Upseat for our son. I noticed when he walks or runs his feet are facing outward. I started to observe him in the chair. The seat spreads out the legs, which causes external Tibia rotation. This makes sense because when we want to relax and sit on couch to completely release the tension off your legs you have to open your hips and your feet naturally externally rotate. This similar to when you lie on your back and your feet point outwards. If you could please comment on this, thank you.
It's not really an age thing, it's moreso about whether your baby can hold their head up on their own, and whether they can sit upright on their own. Until they can do both, I'd avoid using a seat. Otherwise, the baby will slouch over, which is not good for them. You can use a baby carrier or a swing until they're ready to use a seat.

Yay!!! So happy you snagged it and for 17 dollars!?! Wow!😊
When do you know baby is ready for one of these seats?
Can you do a video on standing activity centers?
My baby is 7 months old and down syndrome. He is trying hard to seat. Do you think this will help him?
I was going to get a floor seat but i found out the graco table2table can be a floor seat as well. Do you think its a good high chair/floor seat?
At what age should you start using these?

When they can sit on your lap (with support) and keep their head up and they don’t slouch. Around 4-5 months
