Hey Mr.Ballen, wanted to be early just to say that I started watching you over two years ago and I remember binge watching your videos as if they were episodes from my favorite tv-show. Your way of story telling is highly entertaining, you seem very genuine, not to mention you’re my go-to when I feel stressed or anxious.

My father has a similar story as James. He lived in Hawaii in the 60s and an undertow dragged him and his friend far out from shore. While they were swimming back, his friend was making headway, but every time my dad came up for air, a wave crashed on his head. Nobody was around and no one saw him because of how far out he was. He was close to drowning when a man appeared out of nowhere next to him and told him what to do. He said that when the waves comes, go under water and swim with that wave and come up for air after it passes. That's exactly what he did and he was getting closer to land with this mysterious blonde man by his side. And at one time he went down and came back up, the man disappeared and he couldn't find him when he got to shore. He firmly believes it was an Angel

The human mind is an amazing thing. It's so amazing it can even fool itself into believing things to survive. It's utility ultimately fails when it comes to critical thinking though i.e. angels. I'm glad your father survived though.

@RapturianCitizen I agree. While as a Jehovah's Witness, I do believe we are guided by Him through His angels, I don't believe in guardian angels. I understand that the mind has many capabilities that we can not always explain, and can make us see and hear things that are not really there. Schizophrenia is obviously a prime example of this, but also, when your brain is in survival mode, or in a fragile state, it can cause you to have very unusual experiences. A great movie that demonstrates this, and is somewhat inspired by an actual true life experience, is Michael Powell's and Emeric Pressburger's A Matter of Life and Death (1946).

I actually had a similar experience with the 3rd story, but it was in a mall. I was pretty young back then (say, around 4-5 y/o), and there was a boy (probably same age as me) who kept urging me to go play with him in the parking lot, so I followed him outside the mall to play (with my father in tow). Literally moments later, I heard an explosion inside the mall. When I tried looking for the boy, he was nowhere to be seen. I asked my father if he had seen Kino (the boy's name), and he had this really confused look on his face and basically told me I was talking to myself and he had to follow me outside because I was running off.

I loved James story (and the others similar in this comment section). During WW2, my grandfather was in Ireland building Lockheed P-38. One day he was under one of these planes and heard a voice yell at him to 'Get Out Quickly'. He grabbed the man next to him and roll them both out from under the plane right before it smashed to the ground. If he hadn't heard "someone" tell him to get out, both men would have been dead.

The 3rd person thing is definetly a real thing. I've experienced it first hand snowboarding out in the back country with some friends. Our ride was picking us up at a specific time before sundown at our dropoff location. We ended up getting lost on thw hike back to the road. I remember seeing a person at the top of one of the random hills around where we were. It looked like a woman, she was jumping up and down and waving at us. We hiked up to where she was and it ended up being a vantage point where we could see the road thru the trees like 200 meters away. There was no sign of anyone else being on that hill, it was knee height powder. We would have seen some trail. Anyways we went down to the road and our ride finally came up and saw us waiting about a mile down the road from our original pick up location. If we wouldn't have seen that "person" we would have never made it to the road, we were hiking away from it! Still trips me out that we didn't see any sign of them, we literally hiked up the hill right to where we last saw them. Nothing there at all, just untouched snow.

This type of thing happened to my cousin when she was in a horrible car accident years ago, her car flipped over several times and landed upside. A woman right away stuck her hand into my cousins car and actually handed her her pocket book that flew out of the car and told her that everything was fine and that an ambulance was on its way and stayed outside the car talking to her keeping my cousin awake since she was in a lot of pain and was fading in and out of consciousness. When the ambulance came the woman was gone and it was a male motorist down a ways that saw what happened that had called the ambulance, nobody saw this woman that gave my cousin this moral support and handed her her pocket book. Even my cousin had only saw this womans hand and heard her voice throughout the whole ordeal, never her face or anything else...

My father in law got in a bad car wreck as a teen where he went over a bridge into a very deep creek and he swears a little old lady came and pulled his head out of the water and talked to him until help came. He was knocked out and saod she woke him and pulled his head outta the water then said "honey, ya gotta stay awake and keep your head outta the water" and she kinda pet
his head to keep him awake. He said he dozed off for what seemed like a second and woke back up with cops and paramedics talking to him and he asked them about the older lady because she saved him. They said "buddy you were alome with your entire body in the water but your head was on a big rock but no lady. " He even told his mother to go back to the area and knock on doors to find her and nobody knew of any older lady that fit her description and said they dont see a older woman being able to get down to where he was because it was steep.

I firmly believe the human mind is the most remarkable thing on this planet. My understanding from the third person effect is that most likely our subconscious mind/instincts move to the front in desperate times of need where we may have given up or we get pushed unconscious but seriously need to be awake due to the situation we're in. Since we see the world the way we do, it manifests motivation as voices or people to get our bodies moving to safety.

Most cops are horrible people. The general public that thinks cops are good, honest and public servants have only seen the “good” side of the police.
All cops have two personalities in them, the one they use for the general public and the one they use on “criminals.”
I’ve come to believe the bad personally is almost always their real personality. The problem is cops think they know who is guilty and who isn’t and their background is usually a high school education, maybe some sports team experience and then they’re surrounded by other cops and criminals l.
It wears off on them and makes them vile & stupid people that have power over others.

My dad has what he calls his "Angel story" Back when he was a fire fighter he was at a particularly bad house fire. He was carrying the line up stairs to try and get at the second floor to fight the fire. He felt a tap on his shoulder and a voice that said "We have to go this place is not safe" He left and shortly after either that floor exploded or collapsed I can't remember which. He later ask his fellow fire fighters who the lineman was that tapped on his shoulder and they said he went in alone and no one else was there. This may be that 3rd man effect but my dad truly believes he had a guardian angel watching his back that day. If he hadn't left when he did I probably wouldn't be here typing this story.

In the 70s my mother awoke in a panick and woke up my father. She told him something really bad has happened to the boys. My dad tried to calm her and said it was just a dream, go back to sleep. She insisted it wasnt a dream and something terrible just happened. About an hour later the phone rang, it was the TN State Police. Unknown to my parents my two older brothers took a road trip in my oldest brother's 69 GTO.
We lived in Ky and they were headed home from the trip when they saw headlights ahead, crowding the center line. Mark, the driver, moved right to the edge of the road and the right wheels hit a low bridge all rusted and not visible until they hit. The car flipped into the air and rolled mid-air over the oncoming car nearly roof to roof. It continued to flip and landed on the passenger side door, the length of the bridge and off into a gully upside down. The car was totaled and nearly unrecognizable as a car.
This was before seat belts were commonly worn but both my brothers said before the crash they both put on their seat belts with no apparent reason. They both said they thought of Mom and her admonitions to always drive safe, they said it seemed silly at the time, but they both felt and did the same thing.
When my dad answered the phone, my mom told him, "See I knew it, thats the police". He felt sick when the trooper on the other end said "there's been a really bad accident involving your sons, but miraculously, theyre both okay". They both walked away with little more than scratches and bruises.
My mom was very religious, would almost never speak of her many premenitions. There were many i later learned. We all knew when we had issues in life, Mom would pray for us. I can say, when my mother prayed, things invariably got better. When my wife would say "how did we ever get through that" to anything that happened that didnt seem a positive outcome was in sight, I'd say Mom must have been praying. Lost her in 2017 but still know she's somehow always there when things go sideways.

Back in early 2000's in Interlachen, FL, we had a kid named Jerry Alley Jr. Go missing. It became a national story. After a few days, a lady went to police and said she had a vision/dream of Jerry's body being in a hole on an empty lot, covered by something. Police located an empty lot with an old septic tank covered with a pallet. Unfortunately, they did find Jerry's body in there. They arrested a kid(John Silva) I grew up with, who lived across the street from my aunt. He was severely autistic and one of the nicest, most respectful kids you'd ever meet. The day Jerry went missing, I saw John, Jerry and three brothers named the McComsky's all riding their bikes. The brothers were nothing but trouble. Each one had been arrested numerous times as juveniles. They were scum. A couple of days before police found Jerry's body, the youngest brother made a smartass comment/joke on the bus about maybe Jerry slipped in some mud and fell in a hole and hit his head. After the discovery I went to police and told them what he had said but they quickly turned me away and said they knew they had their guy. To this day, in the bottom of my heart, I still do not believe that John Silva killed Jerry. I still believe it was the brothers and they knew that John was mentally incapable and threatened him if he said anything. He's serving a life sentence.

Hi John! I just wanted to say that my father (who passed away 2 years ago due to complications with COVID and COPD) introduced me to you when you were first starting out.
About a year after his death I was watching one of your videos and I came across a playlist that my dad had created on my account with your videos. I sat on the side of my bed and binge watched them all until I got to the last one and it looked like another one of your videos but when I played it, it was a hidden video my Dad had made, and in that video he told me that he hoped I enjoyed the playlist and recommended some other videos to watch as well. He ended the video by saying I love you and that he was proud of his Marine son and that he would be with me always, no matter where I ended up.
It shocked me and made me sob like a little baby. You were his favorite storyteller. And because of him, you are mine as well. Thank you for all you do and I’m with ya till the end!

One story of the Third Man Effect that stuck with me (I was 12), was of this former gang member from Detroit. He was volunteering at a hospital I was staying in for a research study. Really don’t recall how we got to this topic. But he said the only reason he was alive was because of his great-great-grandfather. He’d gotten into a fight with another gang, and he’d been shot, four times, in the chest. But he heard an old man’s voice saying, “Get up. Get up, son.” Somehow, he did, and felt hands on his arms, steadying him, and giving him a gentle push. Thinking it was an enemy, he tried to run, then stopped and looked back. No one was there. But on his trip to the hospital, he kept hearing this man, and saw him a few times. When he later described the man to his parents, he was told that it matched what his great-great-grandfather looked like.
That story just stuck with me these past twenty years.

In regards to the last story of the fantom voice, I more or less have had a similar experience. A buddy and I fell through ice on a lake, I remember trying to climb out and every time I would like my body up back onto the ice it would break away and I would find myself back in the freezing cold water. The ice was sharp cutting up my arms and hands. After a while of trying I almost gave up and the only thing that made me keep trying was I saw my mom crying on the couch with my stepdad comforting her. It was like I was actually there witnessing it and hearing her screaming and crying. I snapped back into reality and heard a voice telling me exactly how I needed to crawl and sprawl out my body so I wouldn’t break the ice getting out. I ended up finally getting out, (obviously) and was able to get my friend out. Very interesting how it all worked out.

I've heard of this Third Man Effect before. A man named Dennis Hale was the sole survivor of a shipwreck named Daniel J Morrel. He and another person were on a life raft shortly after their ship broke apart during an intense storm on Lake Huron on November 29, 1966. He said while he was freezing, he felt thirsty and wanted to suck on the ice formed on the raft but an old man appeared behind him and told him not to do that because it would make his body go into hypothermia and that help was on the way. Shortly after a Helicopter found him and rescued him but the other passenger on the raft passed away. Look up his story, it's pretty interesting.

HOLY HELL I'VE HAD THAT! I didn't know there was a name for it or ever really questioned it! When I was being severely abused as a kid, I had this little girl who looked like an angel who would come into my body and let me go play in a giant picture of a waterfall on the wall in our rental. She was so kind and she gave me the sense that he couldn't hurt her. He was terrible; sometimes he would tell me to say my prayers, that he was going to kill me today, hold a gun in my mouth and then laugh when I cried and say oh maybe tomorrow. She would take over in those moments so I didn't have to be there. She was so beautiful and just... radiated pure love.
I'm not sure what that was. I'm not a religious person. Sometimes I wonder if it was a splitting off of my psyche under such tremendously overwhelming abuse. But who knows?

I think if continued many enough years, that girl would've grown into a whole other identity and maybe even others to take over the abandoned parts of your conciousness/brain. Appreciating the cabalities of our own brains or some enigma, e.g an angel, or not figuring it out altogether is your justified freedom.

I had a similar experience when my son went missing, except I saw what I can only describe as an old school map, the kind they had in the 1970s, pink, and green, yellow, etc. Each state a different color. The image showed me exactly where my son was, near the border of California and Arizona. I saw the image around 2 am, as I couldn't sleep because my son was missing and the grief was so profound that I was losing it. Anyway, i decided then and there that I trusted the image so much (what else did I have? Police had done nothing but file a missing person report), so i packed some bags and planned to drive there at first light. I was literally walking to my car to drive away when I got a call from a Sheriff in Arizona. They had found my son, and they had put him on a flight for life helicopter, heading to Las Vegas, Nevada, that being the closest trauma center capable of handling severe head trauma/hemorrhagic strokes. Instead of driving to Arizona, i flew to Vegas. Those images can definitely be trusted!

When I was a baby my father was trying to get home one night (he traveks daily for work) but the roads were really bad, it was violently snowing, he was way out in the middle of bowhere and wasn't familiar with the area. Out of nowhere, a car pulled out in front of him. My dad just kept telling himself that all he had to do was keep his eyes on their tail lights. He couldn't see the road, but he could see their lights. He followed the car for about a half an hour, it just kept going the way my dad needed to go, and then all of a sudden there were street lights, he knew the intersection he was at and needed to turn, but the other car was going to go straight. He pulled into the turning lane and went to wave to the driver of the other car, but there wasn't anyone in the drivers seat. He looked again and the car was gone entirely and the only tire tracks on the road led to his work van. There was no car. He's forgotten the details of the story over the years, it's been almost 30 years exactly since it happened, but he told me he was so nervous that night driving home because they were first time parents, I was only a few weeks old, it was 1994, so he had no way to tell my mom he wasn't sure where he was, and he wasn't sure he was going to make it home, and then all of a sudden someone was in front of him and he felt a wave of relief wash over him like he knew he would get back home safely.

Fascinating to hear about the 3rd man thing...when my dad was a teenager he was swimming in the sea and got dragged out and under by the current. He couldn't fight it and accepted that he would die. Then out of nowhere someone appeared above him holding their hand out and pulled him to the surface, and managed to get him back to the beach. Next thing he knew, his parents were over the top of him asking if he was okay. They'd just found him lying in the sand barely breathing. They never saw anyone bring my dad out of the water and no one has ever been able to come up with an explanation as to why someone would rescue him but then not try to find his family or anyone else to help him further. I had no clue other people had experienced this so I'm quite interested in that story :)

He allegedly brought up the potential premonition to Henry Rathbone before the play whom afterwards suggested more security which Lincoln declined.
Rathbone went crazy and actually ended up killing his wife while living in Germany because he could never forgive himself for “failing his duty”.

There's two main branches of the Rathbone family, one stayed in England and one came over on the Speedwell (partner ship tp Plymouth I believe). The U.S. Rathbones appeared to split between Rhode Island (my exact line) and New York, which I believe is Henry's exact line. I have heard a similar voice as Etta that led me to saving my daughter from drowning. My daughter was by the pool with my entire family. My husband thought my mom was watching her, my mom thought my husband was watching her and it turns out no one was watching her. The voice yelled "follow me". I was on the first floor of a hotel and did not even know where the pool was at this point. However, I, "intuitively" knew exactly where to go and as I ran towards the pool I knew I had to look towards the water and I saw dark hair floating above the water. I ran towards it and pulled my daughter out. This was not the first nor the last time I heard this voice but it was definitely the most memorable time for me since it led me to saving my baby's life. The first time was when I was a teenager and my sister, friend and I were on the verge of getting hurt by a gang of 8 males. The voice, once again, saved us by guiding me and telling me what to say throughout the ordeal.

It was God. God warns us demonic evil spirits do exist and can trick us, but God sends us angels or he himself gets directly involved. If it was an evil spirit, it would not have allowed a child to be saves or desired it.
So God is the one who saved your child. If it was through an angel or God himself….idk, but angels work for God, and they cant do anything without permission from God. So yeah.

The last story is something that really happens.
The 3rd person effect can exert physical manifestations that allow you to survive as well I believe.
I should have been dead two times over; I've felt the hand of God, a Guardian Angel, call it what you like, push me away from death or otherwise shield me.
I have no clue why I'm still here and only can say I sensed a physical presence in the brief chaos of violent accidents that should have been fatal. Words can not convey it as it is a feeling. It's quite surreal to experience and only happens on the knife's edge.

I've felt the touch of an angel too. It saved my leg. I think it altered my vibration to allow the car to pass through my leg be for striking the motorcycle. Another time I was hit over the head with a 2×2 . It broke on my head without me feeling anything or leaving any mark. The guy couldn't believe what happened and ran off.
My ex received a telepathic message saving my life.
I think my angel has helped other times too.
Thou I have suffered bad injuries in a car accident 3 weeks after wishing a friend would die in a car accident aged 17.
My only explination for being saved from death many times while others die is a strange one. But i believe it makes sense given what happens.
A guardian angel is assigned to us to keep evil spirits from breaking spiritual laws and to ensure we live out our normal life span.
      Now the freaky bit:
You alone are the one real individual in your world. Others are very advanced what we call holograms of people.
In my mom's world I may have died when I had my car accident.
In my dad's I may have died after a man tried to push his way into my house when I was home alone aged 11.
In my brothers I may have died after my older cousins chose my equally aged cousin rather than me 2 or 3 to pour petrol on and throw a match on him.
In another brothers world I died after being hit on the head with the 2x2.
      Or the dehydrating....telepathic message save.
Hyperthermic episode after being lost in bushland in mid winter at night wearing only shorts teeshirt and thongs.
      Etc......
This one real person scenario, if true. Allows us to live a full human life time experiencing the horrors and evils in the world. We learn life without the Father is a very bad deal.
It also prevents empathy pains our heavenly Father would endure or the guilt attached to not preventing.
I also believe everyone lives in the end times.
How will anyone not living in end times know, without the Father, humans become extinct.
      This world is on TRIAL.
It's a TRIAL to remove doubts created by Lucifer regarding my Father's position as most high over creation.
My only one real person having a guardian angel thesis, may have been agreed upon by the angels sitting in court when deciding how to prove luciferes allegations wrong.
My cousin Pauly didn't die burning alive aged 2.
They chose me in Paul's world.
Neither I nor Paul burned to death alive. It and other horrific acts was proof to angels and humans how evil the world becomes without my Father at the helm.
Another giving of grace was reducing our life span from a 1,000 years to just 120.
I'm only 62 and I hate this evil world with all my heart. I hope it blows up real soon.
I can't imagine how ide feel after a few hundred years of this hell.
But I'm generally happy even thou I'm alone 99.9% of the time. I think it's because I know without any doubts my Father exist.
If he could create life he could create the above scenario. This way... all humans learn how this life is hell, without suffering it's worst attacks. And angels see what happens to humans without our Fathers protection.
Your post inspired me to write this.
It's a crazy idea I know. But given the abilities of our Father, I don't think it implausible.
It allows luciferes accusation to be trialed without humans suffering the worst of it's consequences directly.
      Be safe n well.

Yes! Third man effect - about 2 decades ago, a best friend of mine had an accident when she was taking cash out of an ATM and a car spun out of control, crashed into her pinning her to the ATM. The car backed up making her fall to the floor bleeding heavily and losing consciousness. A tall Norwegian looking man appeared before her and told her that it wasn’t her time to die and that she needed to stay awake and not fall asleep. Days later when she recovered at the hospital, she asked about the Norwegian looking man, and everyone told her she was hallucinating. This happened in Hawaii where people would’ve noticed if this was the case! She insists that the man was talking to her as she lay bleeding and was extremely thirsty telling the man she just wants water and to sleep!

Yeah, cops had a bad habit of trying to torture someone (withholding food, not giving her shoes, etc.) to get false confessions, which is why police corruption was - & still is - a thing people are pissed about. OMG THE THIRD STORY!!! I HAD THAT HAPPEN TO ME!!! I had never heard anyone have something similar until now and I could cry knowing it has a name! Wtf! I have chills!!!
When I was 13, I was almost kidnapped by two men in a boat marina in Connecticut late at night when I was trying to go to the marina bathrooms.
The marina bathrooms had a 4 didget code lock on the door. My dad and stepmom had our boat up on the trailer parked in the parking lot of the marina. The bathrooms were about 70-100 yards away from where we were parked. We planned to sleep in the cabin of our boat overnight in the lot and go fishing in the early morning.
As I jumped off the boat and walked towards the bathrooms, I heard a voice tell me to walk faster! It scared me because there was nobody around and it was a legit voice that was next to me it felt. So I did.. as soon as I got inside, The Voice told me to not open the door!
I had originally wanted to go into the bathroom to take a shower but I was so freaked out I couldn’t do it. I just sat on the sink until I heard my stepmom’s voice a few minutes later (it was probably a minute but it felt like a lot longer).. I was totally freaked out.
After I heard my stepmom call my name from outside the door, I felt comfortable enough to open it. As soon as I opened it, she grabbed my wrist and yank me out of the bathroom. She had her pocket knife open and she practically dragged me back to the truck /boat & trailer as fast as she could. I didn’t know what was going on.
I was completely freaked out and asked her what was wrong.
She told me once we were back safely on the boat that as soon as I got into the bathroom, two men came up and stood on each side of the door waiting for me to come out. She said she looked up and saw it and immediately sprung into action and ran over with her knife open. The men took off when they saw her. She said they were holding something in their hands each of them, but not sure what.. it was dark but she could see them in the street light that was over the bathrooms.
I just want to clarify, the entire marina had vehicles with empty trailers parked in the parking spaces. Not a lot but probably a quarter full. It was also I believe mid summer. Many people did night fishing. We were the only ones around that we knew of except for these men..
    Not over yet…
That night, my Step Mom and I were joking around while my dad was asleep and we were poking our heads out of the skylight of the boat cabin looking around. We noticed that there was one other boat that was connected to a truck in the parking lot. It was a red Ford pickup truck and there was a small boat on the back that was called “the eagull” we cracked jokes about the name because it was like a seagull in an eagle put together. I’ll never forget that.
We didn’t see anybody around and at some point we went to bed.
The next morning around 6 am maybe 7:00, everyone is awake. The marina was now more full with vehicles and there were some people walking around. People putting their boats in the water, typical summer morning at a boat marina.
I really wanted to go to the bathroom (like any teenage girl would or anyone for that matter would in the morning).
I told my stepmom. I felt a lot more comfortable because it’s daylight, and there was life around.
She said that she would watch me. Neither one of us felt like there was any danger like the night before. We thought that that had passed. WRONG
As I started walking towards the bathrooms, THE VOICE CAME AGAIN! IT TOLD ME TO LOOK AT ALL THE CAR WINDOWS!
This is now day two of hearing this voice!
Lo and behold, I was looking at all of the windshields and windows of the cars around me (I was about halfway to the bathrooms at this point) and that red Ford pickup truck with “the eagull” hitched to the back, had two men sitting inside the truck.
I was standing about 10-15 feet away.
The man in the driver seat rolled his window down a little and said something to me. At this point I’m honestly totally terrified and I can’t even tell you what he said. I did respond to him but I don’t remember what I said. I also saw the light go on in the truck which means one of them had opened the door but I didn’t see a door open. (Looking back on it, I think they opened the door a crack so that way they could jump out fast and grab me.)
At this point my stepmom was right behind me, grabbed me aggressively like she did the night before, and brought me to the bathrooms, waited outside for me to be done talking to me through the door the whole time, and then we went back to the boat. (This is all happening in a matter of seconds to minutes by the way.)
As soon as we got back, the man in the pick up truck , drove around the parking lot twice, we watched, and they took off.
These men literally waited all night long stocking me. If it wasn’t for that voice, I probably wouldn’t be here right now.
My step mom and I talked about what had happened. She knows about the voice and everything. Looking back on it, she said that there was a small boat that was tied to the docks of the boat ramp that night. It was probably “the eagull” it’s the only thing that made sense. We just try to put the pieces together.
Who knows, I could be at the bottom of the ocean right now if I opened that door and didn’t listen to the voice, or have that voice. This experience has haunted me my entire life. I am now 31 years old and a mother of two beautiful little girls. I am still in shock from the voice and still have no idea how to fully explain it. My stepmom did report the men, we did not think to get a license plate.. nothing ever came of it.

With the third man effect, I believe it is our guardian Angel. I once was walking down a flight of stairs in my apartment I was alone except for my toddler son. Almost reaching the bottom of the stairs I heard very clearly, very firmly and with authority my name called out and it was loud. It wasn’t in my head it wasn’t behind me or in front of me but all around me and vibrated within me, it made me stop in my tracks. I don’t know the reason why it called me but I think that it was to stop me for those few seconds to save me from something that would have altered my life or killed me. I really can’t explain it any other way. I know it sounds weird and some think I am crazy but I know what I heard and felt at that exact moment 40 years ago, I can still remember where I was living, what I was doing everything from those few seconds. And believe me I can’t remember what I did yesterday half the time as I am now 59 years old so remembering this is huge.
Anyone else have this or something similar happen to them? If so what are your thoughts on this? I believe in God and I believe we all have a guardian with us.
PS I pray this man finds the Lord our Savior, as maybe this is the reason he was saved that day. So he may find Jesus and have everlasting life.

Basically, we parked in one spot, and made a big loop, that would bring us back to the truck, 3 weeks later. We were expected to walk 13-15 miles per day, make our own fires, and carry heavy packs on our backs. I was with 5 other teenage boys that snuck in a lighter, but refused to let me use it. I couldn’t make a fire, therefore I didn’t eat. The boots my mom had brought for me were too small, so I walked around in the snow, barefoot. I was always lagging miles behind the group, and would just sleep on the side of the path, with no sleeping bag, as it was burned up the ONE night I had a fire, because I rolled into the fire while I slept.
One day, I was laying down, and a truck drove up and stopped, asking me if I needed help. I was too scared that the camp counselors would stop the truck, so I refused the help. The camp counselor would drag me by my hair, or my arm, face down in the snow. About 2 weeks in, one day I was absolutely exhausted. I had extreme frostbite on my extremities, and bleeding ulcers on my stomach, from lack of food.
I just couldn’t walk another step, and stopped to lay down, and prayed to God to give me the strength to keep going. I remember closing my eyes, I guess I slept for a few hours. I had dreamt of an angel, coming to help me. I stood up, and I was able to walk. I didn’t feel the pain from the frostbite, and I was full of energy. I would often leave tracks of blood, from making a fist, my hands would crack and bleed.
Once I started walking, I felt a sense of calm, and when I couldn’t walk anymore, I laid down to sleep in the snow, with just the clothes on my back. I woke up, as the group had made it back to the truck, and came looking for me. As the truck went through a mud puddle, it splashed water in my face, the counselor didn’t take me, he told me he would be back the next morning. When I woke up, my face was frozen from the mud puddle.
Once I was reunited with my mother, we started to drive back home, but I was in extreme pain from the car heater starting to defrost my body. I had to be taken to the ER where I stayed for almost two weeks. They would have to scrub off the dead tissue on a daily basis.
I say all that to say this, it was either my praying to God, or an angel that came to help me. I would likely have died otherwise.
The memories have faded over time, so I might have left some things out, but this story definitely brought me back. Shortly after, a lot of the wilderness camps were shut down, due to injuries, and even deaths. They should have had me evacuated out, but left me to continue suffering. I had memories for many years, and had massive nerve pain in my hands and feet, that’s just now starting to fade.

@@LuciLovesDucks I wish they did face jail time, although I doubt they did. I still think about the truck that stopped to help me, if that actually happened, or if it was just my imagination. No one deserves being treated that way, they were talking about me when I was fairly close by, saying I was going to be a loser for the rest of my life. Definitely proved them wrong.

@@Lisasanti1 This world we live in can be a really sad place. I guess we'll never know if those counselors did get jail time...we can only hope. Just like we'll never know anything about that truck driver...whether if it was a real person genuinely concerned, imaginary, or a person wanting to take advantage of another helpless person. I'm just glad you are okay, and you were able to prove that those supposed "camp counselors" were the true losers in the end. If I was driving and I saw a person in your condition, I would of called the police and ambulance as soon as I could.

The last story was definitely an angel, sent by God to save this man. Many similar stories around the world through the years are told by people who are alive because of these angels. These angels appear to someone because God sent them and He has a purpose for these people.

I am not a psychic but several years ago I was watching the news on TV, a couple of graduates had not come home from the prom. Instantly like a movie in my vision, I saw a young man and girl in the front seat of a car under water. They were both dead. Days later the couple were found in their car where it had gone out of control into a body of water and they could not get out.😢

Believe it or not I have had this happen 2 times. The first time when I was a kid, 14 I think. I had stepped into the street but didn’t look. A voice said “GET BACK ON THE SIDEWALK!” It said it so forcefully I obeyed. Next thing I felt was the side mirror of a car clip my wrist, which was still over the road.
The second time, I was much older and driving down a highway that is usually well lit but that night it was dark. This voice said “change lanes now!” Without thinking I did exactly that. Seconds later my lights shone on a huge box in the middle of the lane I had just left. I would have slammed right into that.
For whatever it is worth. Those are my stories.

My mother was in the second tower of the World Trade Center, on the 92nd floor. While running down the stairs to get out of the building after the plane hit, she wanted to give up and heard a voice telling her she had to keep going and get out of the building. Thankfully she got out and caught the last ferry out of Manhattan.
