Tell that to bankers, accountants, college students. Their entire life IS the carry on luggage. It does not take any more time to throw the door open and grab the luggage while people are jumping out of the plane. You're standing there at least 40-70 seconds still in the aisle as you wait for people to leap down the slide and evac. More than enough time to get your bag. It takes an estimated 5 seconds to open the baggage door, grab your bag, rip it out as you're going down the aisle.
I have a few emergancy meds and daily meds i dont want to loose. But cause of things like this i keep them in a small bag attached to me so that i dont have to try and grab them in a hurry. I also keep the bag small so it won't cause anymore obstruction than my normal clothes would.
I will never forget that day. I was picking up my friends later that day from a flight from Amsterdam. Their flight was delayed, as they had to land in Ottawa, because of the AF crash. When that crash happened - I was still at work at my travel agency and the weather was getting really bad. Then suddenly we heard the news that a large aircraft crashed at the Pearson and that smoke is visible from the 401 highway. We all thought that this crash was catastrophic and there will be many victims. I remember thinking: "those poor people"... When we heard that everyone's OK - all of us at work thought that this was nothing short of a miracle. Later that evening we drove back from the airport and saw the burned out shell of that aircraft. It was a real miracle.
They should’ve landed in Ottawa. Sounds to me like the airline didn’t want to accommodate the cost of getting the passengers back to Toronto and decided to take the risk.
Yeah it's weird. Also they could have stayed in holding for a bit longer to allow the storm to clear. It's not as if they were declaring and type of emergency especially fuel. They had time to be patient. It's awful how money is more important than safety so much of the time.
@@thatweirdguy_ben Ottawa was their planned alternate. This was decided before they even departed Paris and is a requirement for filing an IFR flight plan, so it would have been able to accommodate this aircraft.
Besides Ottawa is not nearly as busy. YOW is only 45min-1hour flight from Toronto and there is a ViaRail train that only takes 4 hours from Ottawa back to Toronto if the passengers can’t wait for another flight to be booked. Tickets are between $80-120 on a regular day. The airlines can easily compensate
On the day of this accident, I was working just north of the airport on the north side of Derry Road. That was the HEAVIEST rainfall I've ever seen in Canada. Though not as bad, it reminded me of a hurricane I've been through on the island of Trinidad in the early 1970's called "Hurricane Alma." The rainfall in Hurricane Alma was so heavy that it was impossible to see through the thick curtain of rain. Anyways it was a miracle that everyone walked away safely from this accident considering the plane ended up catching on fire.
@@cefarther3945 He was "supposedly" a dispatcher, which means he wasn't in the crash plus keep in mind that he most likely can't say anything about what happened (non-disclosure agreements and such)
I was booked for a flight out of Toronto that day. I recall the smell of jet fuel in the air when I arrived at the airport. As the crash closed the airport, my flight was canceled and had to be rescheduled. Was relieved to hear that everyone made it out of there. There's a ravine at the end of that runway and after this crash, I was like "Why isn't that ravine FILLED IN? Jeesh." I'm hoping it's been filled in by now.
Yeah that’s to stop planes from allowing down the streets of Toronto. Rather the plane end up down there than halfway through the Marriott hotel down the street
I love that just about everyone here is in agreement the blond chick is a total Karen. Like I've yet to see someone have such a detailed list of complaints after surviving a PLANE CRASH.
Occasionally you are. That awesome episode with the Electra, and the pilots walking out in hats coats and ties was amazing. That other one where they landed and the flight attendants walked down the aisles giving everyone free champagne was freaking dope.
I’ve been on a plane where everyone clapped on landing I was little I don’t remember why people were clapping only that it was a rough landing coming either into Albany or Syracuse.
There is an interesting part left out...The portion of the passengers were taken on to airport bus which supposed to transport them to inside of terminal. As they were about to leave the scene, fire broke in the bus and passengers had to evacuate bus as well!!! THAT was a true nightmare. These poor passengers had to run for their lives twice! It was totally mishandled by authorities of Pearson Intl. Airport...A complete embarrassment. It was all over the news and TV.
This is one of the best episodes of Maydsy. I watched it many times and I am still surprised everyone survived. I believe the copilot was given bad data, tensed up, made bad decisions and that caused the crash. Its real shame the pilot could not fly again. I feelbad for him.
The true disaster of 358 Lady couldn't get her laptop It was raining There was nowhere to sit The room was cramped It was totally disorganized No one made any announcements
The Captain instead of yelling "put it down, put it down!!" should have yelled "go around, go around!!" or have taken control himself instead of forcing the first officer to put it down, maybe the first officer was thinking of going around but once the Captain yelled "put it down" he simply felt forced by the Captain to put it down instead of going around. These people were so lucky to have survived this, and one of the reasons they survived was because they were in an A340 which has extremely strong wings because these wings have to support 4 huge engines, so they're built with twice the strength of a regular 2 engine aircraft. Luckily everyone made it out alive and that's the most important thing.
That's a good point; I never thought of that. You can't really ask a father not to try and save his family in case of emergency, and it's gonna block other people trying to get out.
The crew did amazing as well, they were the ones who had to get the doors open, (I would imagine) deal with passengers freeze-response (just like the co-pilot), and get everyone out
Marilyn Sorry to disagree with you but the pilots didn’t do a great job, they should have aborted the landing and went back around. They landed too high, halfway down the runway and didn’t hit the reverse thrusters for 17 seconds, did you actually watch the video?
@@l456tatertot3 That's why the first officer was suspended for 3 months. But it could have.been much worse if they didn't do their all to try and control it.
"They were totally disorganized" Yeah, Karen, they're not prepared for a plane sliding off the god damn runway every day, give them a minute, would you? Jesus.
I couldn't believe she said that. She was the one trying to get her bag out and blocking an aisle minutes before too. Accidents are a part of life in any airport but Torontos are rare and you can't possibly prepare for everything. It sounded like she expected a full buffet set up and someone to have gotten all her belongings off the plane already
I think you're missing the point, the airports should have worked out what to do in the case of a crash. They should have their procedures rehearsed and ready, but they were not prepared. lives could have been lost due to their disorganization. But yeah, she not the one to talk since she decided to block people trying to evacuate to get her laptop.
This is why a stabilized approach is so important. Along with that, a lot of planes these days now have systems that not only show you how much runway you have left, but will actually sound an audible alert that says "long landing" if you're getting too far down the runway. You can always go around... Never try to save a bad landing.
I was thinking the same thing. "There was no announcements being made. The first disaster was the crash and the second was how it was handled after." Hahaha, oh Karen...
The blonde haired woman they were interviewing throughout the video. Horrible horrible attitude. Disgusting she didn't care about anyone else losing their lives . It was all about her. Of course she's the one who wanted to get her laptop but thought she would die so didn't. The problem I have with that is the flight attendants always tell when they give pre flight instructions to passengers to not get anything when evacuating. You could rip the inflatable stairs and you could block people and slow the flow.
Wow that one older guy is the best.he said "the onlything that im thinkin bout is get my other daughter-get her and get her under me as we blow up." I like that guy. He was awesome
The man with the family is happy about his second chance at life. The likely divorced Nancy Grace lady is like "the crash was the first disaster, the tiny room and coordination after was the 2nd"
yeah honestly! at first listening to her I was like okay huh interesting I guess it was traumatic, and then the father was talking about how he was so happy to see his son and what if he hadn't told his son he loved him before he left, and I was like oh okay, so this guy was trying to protect his wife and children and he's not whining about how it was handled afterwards, but this lady was trying to grab her laptop and she's foaming at the mouth?
I promise I will be quiet, but I might say oh F@&$ about 8000 times when we are crash landing. In all seriousness, he could verify what happened on the flight deck.
Lol. Maybe true. I’ve never interacted with everyone on the flights I’ve been on so I have no way to confirm that statement, but I did see/hear a ‘Karen’ on one of my flights. Held up take off for a full 20 minutes!
@@rpeterson9182 - Too bad they didn't toss her off right away. Interferring with the crew, and delaying the flight would have both been legitimate, legal reasons to do so.
I was once circling LGA airport with a storm and thank god we landed ok but this was in the 1980s and that incident scared me alot to fly again years later.
I think after an accident like this that if any of the passengers are found to have their luggage with them they should get a huge fine because they risk other peoples lives doing so
I think it depends on what you mean by luggage. Suitcases and things stored in the overhead box should be left behind. But what about a purse or backpack? I always carry my backpack on the plane, sometimes it's my only luggage, and it's always either in my lap or just a quick grab. In fact, it would take MORE time for me to leave my bag behind because of this. So it's not as simple as you appear to make it out to be.
@@RockyOtter hi there I would say if you have those items already in hand then that would be OK but if you have to go back to get them or get them from under your seat or the above luggage compartment and at risk other people then no but like I said if you already have those items in hand then yes you should go ahead and take it as long as it does not interfere with somebody being able to get out of the plane
@@joshuaharper4439 It's not always "in hand" exactly, it's just down where my feet are. I'd have to bend down and move it away to get out, so I might as well just pick it up. It takes less than a second or two.
I disagree, obviously everyone should leave their luggage behind but you can't judge people for how they respond during a crisis like this. Not everyone is going to think straight while trying to escape a burning aircraft.
One thing I always say to myself for reassurance is that if today's my day to go then so be it. Its a bit dark but the fact that I wake up to be able to say it is enough of a blessing.
That one woman in here is REALLY giving me Karen vibes! It isn't like they do plane crashes like that everyday. I mean she is acting like it should just be second nature. I don't like her energy, but I am glad she and the others survived.
I get what you mean about her attitude, but she is right about how organized airlines should be. They have procedures written up and trained just like for pilots, but for whole "go teams" and incident response teams at their home base and at some away stations, and multiple roles within those dedicated to the humanitarian element of dealing with survivors and their families, as well as communications staff to help sort things out. Or at least they're supposed to, but this dissolved into chaos and prolonged the traumatic anxiety of families by hours, needlessly. It should have been just as well prepped by the airline as the evacuation procedure was by the plane's crew, to get everyone off on time (90s and all that, like the guy at 19:00 said). I think Wendover productions has a video about airline incident/crash response plans, which is where I learned all this and what I'm judging it against. This isn't ketchup on her burger that she's talking about and calling a disaster, and she's got a right to whine after a plane crash without being a Karen imo, even tho her attitude/vibe *is* a lot like one 😆
@@revenevan11 - I don't agree. 1st, she was talking about the airline's response AFTER the crash when they walked to the terminal, BUT she misses the fact that EVERYONE was alive and the airline employees had to come BACK to the terminal to help the survivors! After a plane takes off, the crew responsible for getting that plane off the ground inside of the terminal don't typically hang around in the gate area. They leave that area and go wherever they are scheduled to go. NO ONE KNEW those people were going to be sent there so there were no provisions for them initially. The first responders were at the site of the accident. Air traffic control still has to reroute flights (since accidents shut down airports until things are cleared & the NTSB has a chance to investigate and their are typically still flights that are due to come in). Other airlines have to reroute their passengers or call their passengers to reschedule any later flights. The airlines typically have to mobilize people to help, which takes time, and they also have to relay information to family members via the many calls that come in when things like this happen. When an airline has a crash, especially one like this, there is NORMALLY confusion because, truthfully, flights that crash like this in the US are very rare. When they do happen, there is typically loss of life. And, if it happens at certain times, the TERMINAL CREW may not be anywhere around! So, as was the case here, when people stream into the terminal, there won't be provisions just waiting for them! Where do you typically go after a crash? The answer is TO THE HOSPITAL because people are normally injured! 2nd, you mentioned "Go Teams". Go Teams are sent by the NTSB (National Transportation & Safety Board) to investigate airplane crashes. They don't typically talk with survivors immediately after a crash, for a few reasons. First, if there are survivors, they typically go to the hospital and second, in many cases people are dead or too shook up to talk. The NTSB's focus is determining HOW & WHY the plane crash occurred. They are responsible for finding the flight data recorder and the cockpit data recorder (the black boxes), making sure the plane parts are all accounted for and taking pictures and doing analysis at the site of the actual crash. Their focus is not the passengers in the immediate aftermath of a crash. The one group of people they ARE concerned with interviewing right away is the pilots. However, typically the pilots have to be cleared to speak by a medical professional first! There is NOT a team of people sitting at the airport terminal waiting for it to crash! That simply is NOT how things work! You stated that, in your opinion, she has a right to whine after a plane crash without being called a Karen, but I disagree. She wasn't the only one who was on that plane, nor was she the only one who suffered trauma. Since she KNOWS that this was an incident that didn't happen often, she should have KNOWN that they were working to get things together and they would eventually. There is no need to put on a performance or get mad because the situation is not to your liking. The simple truth is that plane accidents of this magnitude usually result in death and when people are hurt and first responders are trying to render aid, you may not be the first concern IF YOU ARE NOT INJURED! She wasn't injured! She wasn't hurt! She was emotionally traumatized, but her attitude, at least as she presented herself here, was very "Kareny". If you aren't hurt, you aren't injured and you survived, calm down and they will get to you! As I said, there is NOT a team of people sitting at the airport terminal waiting for a plane to crash! I have more than a casual interest in this. I'm actually working on becoming a pilot. I love these episodes about old crashes. This crash was an "excellent" crash because no one died, but in my opinion this woman's attitude was "me, me, me" instead of being grateful that she was alive and no one else died! I understand if you think she was entitled to act as she was, but we will just have to agree to disagree on that. She was one of the lucky ones. There are many, many crashes where people aren't so fortunate.
I understand that videos here need to be dramatic but this one is a bit overboard, I think. I know the area and I know where the runway 24 ends. It indeed ends in the creek that is itself shallow and has easy rolling banks. Due to my employment at the time, I talked to one of our engineers who consulted on the crash investigation commission. As it turned out, the plane was attempting to land in a very severe storm weather and, just before touchdown, there was a lightning strike. Aircraft are designed to withstand lightning strikes and have secondary (and often tertiary) electrical systems. That system came on within an instant but the investigative conclusion was that "pilots were stunned for a couple of seconds". Now, the plane is landing, so it's moving at about 240 knots, which means that over those "couple of seconds" the plane flew 250 meters. And the runway turned out to be "too short" by those 250 meters. Another investigative conclusion was that Air France let pilots rely on electronic and autopilots too much, to the point where pilots were losing their learned skills and could be stunned by a sudden and unforeseen event. I think they eventually recommended more simulator training with emphasis on sudden difficulties in handling the plane. And, as the video shows, all passengers made it out alive, even though a dozen fell victims to serious injuries.
One of the more riveting Mayday episodes I've seen ... really excellent! ... I remember the day this happened, but I don't recall the news reports reflecting just how dangerous it was for the survivors. 'Miraculous' is too weak a word to describe the eventual outcome!
Toronto international airport used to be in an area that would have allowed for much longer runways but just as one man said in the video the city grew around it.
they could still make that runway longer if they spent the $$$ and were allowed to by the city planners. Plus they should also have those type of over -run stopper things some airports have.
@@toddlavigne6441 take this from a Canadian who’s been to Toronto Pearson they really could not. The airport is surrounded by city, to extend the 3 main runways running North to South would either require you to demolish an entire part of Toronto (not going to happen) or you need to fill in a massive ass ravine. Which because I’ve been there in person is a massive ravine, is it possible? Maybe... possibly. There’s a river that’s carved out that ravine and I can’t imagine the ground would be that suitable to support a runway. So Toronto Pearson is kinda stuck as it is right now, the only way to make a bigger runway would require them to build an entirely new airport outside of the city.
@@SwankySpitfire I'm from Toronto as well and know the airport. They could extend into that ravine, but obviously that would be crazy money. That particular runway may be long enough as is. Talking about a plane being destroyed: "That's the worst possible fate for a pilot. The worst outcome." Ummm ... every single person aboard survived. If you think losing a plane is the worst thing that can happen, I have a few Mayday episodes to show you.
The aircraft "roars over the beginning of the [shortest] runway" at this airport (at 15:08). The flight at this point still can be saved with a missed approach. Instead, the flying first officer continues to follow through on the landing with the captain in the left seat encouraging him to do so. "Let the lead dog lead." That is, let the flying PIC fly the plane. It makes a person wonder what the flying copilot would have done if the captain had let him decide 100% on the decision to follow through. A prompt aborted landing and a flight to their alternate airport would have spared everybody on this flight from an enormous load of physical pain and emotional trauma. Nevertheless, it is astonishing that everybody survived such an unfortunate accident.
You can tell just how self centered she is even after that she says she thought about dying cuz of her laptop, she didn't think hey I might get someone else killed by trying to get it. What a POS
She admitted she thought about it then decided not to. What about the fat guy WITH his bag blocking the door that she had to jump around. What's his name?
1st I'm so glad everyone survived! After watching many episodes I see why Boeing stays in business. I had no idea so many air tragedies esp in the '90's. Im never flying but I feel like I've learned so many fundamental safety guidelines to fly!✈️
I don't know if the reinactment was done like this on purpose but why are SO MANY passengers carrying their bags?! I know that lady said the guy in front of her had his bag but Im seeing backpacks, duffel bags, etc. Those extra couple seconds (to grab the bag and to carry it because you logically don't move as fast when carrying a bag esp in such a cramped space) multiplied by each person who takes their bag, could be the time needed to get an extra few people off of a burning plane before it explodes.
It's a known psychological phenomenon that people will unconsciously grab some kind of personal item in emergencies like this. One article I read talked about a woman who was evacuating the WTC on 9/11 and stopped to grab a paperback book off her desk and carried it out with her. She had no idea why she'd done that but it really is human instinct to grab our stuff when we go.
Many of those bags are personal bags and not carry-on bags. People already have them on their person, so it generally does not take any extra time to retrieve them. The issue is when people go for carry on bags like Karen did, which do take time to retrieve.
watching something like this makes one realize the enormity put on pilots and shoulders. i think it'd help when ppl get on their planes if they prayed the Lord helps there pilots guide the plane to safety. and never blame pilots for what happens.
The woman that states (at 24:31 in video) concern for those that did not "get out," is the same lady that was attempting to grab her luggage from an overhead bin during the evacuation = disgusting. I'll bet it took her 8+ hours to "get ready" for her interview in this video.
This whole catastrophe could have been avoided if they would have just closed the airport and diverted the planes to Ottawa. Everyone is always worried about money and the cost effectiveness, but what is a human life worth? How much did it end up costing Air France to lose one of their planes and have an incident on their record, now?
Well yeah, but hindsight is 20/20. The information they had indicated a break in the storm, and the onset of the storm they experienced was quite spontenous. It is a lot easier to say what they should have done in retrospect.
@@albedougnut That's the same old song and dance. It all comes down to money. They didn't want to have to divert because it would have cost the airline more money to get these people where they were going by diverting. Pay now or pay later, but id you pay later, as evidenced, the cost comes at a much higher price.

Yeah it's weird. Also they could have stayed in holding for a bit longer to allow the storm to clear. It's not as if they were declaring and type of emergency especially fuel. They had time to be patient. It's awful how money is more important than safety so much of the time.
I agree! It should be mandatory to divert during bad weather!
Totally agree they decided that paying to Passenger transport was more important than risking crashing an airplane, and we know how that turned out.

I was talking about some one else.
If it wasn't filled in, they'd have killed some drivers and kept going forward. stopping who knows when. The ravine was probably a good thing.
Yeah that’s to stop planes from allowing down the streets of Toronto. Rather the plane end up down there than halfway through the Marriott hotel down the street
Wow that's crazy!! You could smell the jet fuel!!😰
Perhaps fill it most for the way with *gravel* to act as an arresting medium?

I was like ah man, you guys wouldn't be on this show if the landing ended in a clap.

I’ve been on many clap landings, but to the pilots I’m sure the landings were typical turbulent, wind shear landings.
Actually, there's a lot of total survivals in this series. If you want a pulse-pounding story with a happy ending, I recommend The Gimli Glider.
More like a runway overun rather than a crash as the plane slipped into a ditch? near the 401 after it landed
☹️
They should not have landed in Toronto in that weather in the first place!
The true disaster of 358
Lady couldn't get her laptop
It was raining
There was nowhere to sit
The room was cramped
It was totally disorganized
No one made any announcements
Those final words from the father were pure gold... 🥲
Families must ALWAYS be seated adjacent to each other. Otherwise, they are a danger in an emergency evacuation.
That's a good point; I never thought of that. You can't really ask a father not to try and save his family in case of emergency, and it's gonna block other people trying to get out.
Or on Southwest where you pick your own seats it isn’t guaranteed and some airlines charge for seat selection
Exactly.
Don't have one members separated from the others. Two-and-two if possible.
Just stop breeding FFS. There is enough genetic diversity as it is, none of you are all that special.
Congrats to the Pilots, All passenger s and Crew are Alive! Great job .
So sad the captain voluntarily retired and never fly again and suffer ptsd.
The crew did amazing as well, they were the ones who had to get the doors open, (I would imagine) deal with passengers freeze-response (just like the co-pilot), and get everyone out

Sorry to disagree with you but the pilots didn’t do a great job, they should have aborted the landing and went back around. They landed too high, halfway down the runway and didn’t hit the reverse thrusters for 17 seconds, did you actually watch the video?

Yeah, Karen, they're not prepared for a plane sliding off the god damn runway every day, give them a minute, would you? Jesus.
And yes, the "second disaster" was sitting in that room? Equal to escaping a burning plane that's about to explode? Come on.
But I’m sure she’s had loads of self reflection on how she put others lives at risk by initially trying to get her freaking laptop...
Why did they interview her of all the nice people?

Me too. I'm fascinated by them. And I don't know why.
This is why a stabilized approach is so important. Along with that, a lot of planes these days now have systems that not only show you how much runway you have left, but will actually sound an audible alert that says "long landing" if you're getting too far down the runway. You can always go around... Never try to save a bad landing.
I like how Karen's first reaction is to get her luggage... There is one on every flight.
Definitely a Karen but I gotta praise how she stood on the seat to get it instead of blocking the middle

I think after an accident like this that if any of the passengers are found to have their luggage with them they should get a huge fine because they risk other peoples lives doing so
I agree, belongings can be replaced, life can not.

Haha seriously!
Same lol
I guarantee she asked to speak to the manager.
"Wow, That was an amazing landing!" Famous last words!
I read your comment at the beginning of video, at the end I got it . True
dont jinx the plane
"I couldn't believe I had to wait 25 to 30 minutes because of thunderstorms" So precious take a private jet next time😂
One of the more riveting Mayday episodes I've seen ... really excellent! ... I remember the day this happened, but I don't recall the news reports reflecting just how dangerous it was for the survivors. 'Miraculous' is too weak a word to describe the eventual outcome!
It’s a good feeling seeing survivors included.
Toronto international airport used to be in an area that would have allowed for much longer runways but just as one man said in the video the city grew around it.
they could still make that runway longer if they spent the $$$ and were allowed to by the city planners. Plus they should also have those type of over -run
stopper things some airports have.

1st I'm so glad everyone survived! After watching many episodes I see why Boeing stays in business. I had no idea so many air tragedies esp in the '90's. Im never flying but I feel like I've learned so many fundamental safety guidelines to fly!✈️
I live near Toronto, I remember hearing about this on the local news
She had no idea why she'd done that but it really is human instinct to grab our stuff when we go.
backpacks and duffelbags are carryon usually.
Many of those bags are personal bags and not carry-on bags. People already have them on their person, so it generally does not take any extra time to retrieve them. The issue is when people go for carry on bags like Karen did, which do take time to retrieve.
Karen was probably pushing the flight attendant call button because she couldn't find her laptop.
watching something like this makes one realize the enormity put on pilots and shoulders. i think it'd help when ppl get on their planes if they prayed the Lord helps there pilots guide the plane to safety. and never blame pilots for what happens.
Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing
I HATE THESE TH-cam ADS!
The woman that states (at 24:31 in video) concern for those that did not "get out," is the same lady that was attempting to grab her luggage from an overhead bin during the evacuation = disgusting. I'll bet it took her 8+ hours to "get ready" for her interview in this video.
How many times did Blond Karen ask "for the manager" after crashing? Oh and Emily would get it for sure.
@@albedougnutno excuse they are well aware of the risk and volatility of these storms
Pretty incredible that they got everyone out
Can't understand why the captain wouldn't have done a go around!
Maybe he was concerned about the weather and even worse outcome if he circled
@@danayager That's possible
These shows give a very limited account of the situation, it’s not really fair to judge the crew based on less than an hour of dramatization.
The weather was not terrible(relatively speaking) on approach and by the time it was clear that the landing was not feasible to go around they where already past the point of no return you can’t rly do a touch and go or a go around in those conditions
@@CHARLES1500Turner Thanks for the explanation. 👍
I think that one lady should have been grateful to be alive instead of complaining about every single thing thst didnt go to her liking. U can tell shes rich and a little spoiled...no offense
I could see her fumbling around in the overhead bin looking for her laptop, preventing everyone else from escaping.
To the karen of that flight, The way of organization when it comes to emergency does not matter. The fact that you survived is what matters. And now you are complaining about how unorganized it is, it's a disaster. It's not meant to be organized.
You know if I just survived..seen a tragic sight that could of been me and others...and wondering if others didn't make it out....I wouldn't call being unorganized..."considered a second disaster" ...that lady compared to the soft spoken gentleman grateful to have escaped with his family is night and day....I'd take 3 hours of trying to get organized over no time at all....be safe everyone 🤗
Also when she talked about the big guy with the bag...not going to lie..thought she was going to say she pushed him 😂...
I remember this accident well. I was visiting my grandmother in Nova Scotia when it happened and was scheduled to fly in to Toronto about a week later, so it came as quite a shock getting up and reading in the newspaper that a plane had crashed in Toronto.
that's really sounding like a Karen she thinks she knows everything 🥶🥶🥶
I remember this happening. We had a flight in the night. I didn't know about a plane crash until my aunt called to tell us about it. I also remember the weather was so bad. I as happy to that everyone had survived.
No on died? I am stunned.
The cabin crew must have done an amazing job of the evacuation.
Wow, just wow! I had tears in my eyes and almost burst into sobs when they announced that everyone survived. An incredible story
26:11 Exactly how I remember the arrival terminal the last time I landed at Pearson. No wonder the rest of the world thinks we live in igloos.
hahaha looks like a football stadium. what's with the t-shirts on sale behind the check-in counter lol
I am 78, when I was in my 20s & 30s I flew about 6 times. Cant really say my experiences were great. If I was in a crash I would never fly again.
That lady has some big Karen energy
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who thought that
RIGHT? Sorry you were inconvenienced by SURVIVING, lady!
@@melasnexperience ikr when she was complaining i was literally like shut up lady u survived being burned to death or mangled by shrapnel..and she left with her bags too what a karen
I think the blonde lady rehearsed just how to do her part exactly as Bette Davis could have summoned up.
Yeah. I figured she holds the leading role in her local small town theatrical presentation of Hello Dolly.
The lady that sounded perturbed that the flight was "going to be delayed 20 minutes landing at the airport because of thunderstorms?!" Yes,hunny;Because of thunderstorms. You're alive now, right?
When they finally said everyone survived i was hit with an overwhelming feeling of relief, this was tough to watch. 🤥😕🙁🥺😟😨😳😊😊
If I was in a plane crash it would never occur to me to try and get my laptop and bag...
Only Karens like that does.
That lady is such a Karen I get so annoyed every time she talks
@@Lvlaple4Ever Eh. A lot of people do. She's just the one who admitted it.
I would be like 'damn it, the airline better replace it...did I backed it up??'
The clap reminds me of athletes who are first place who begin to celebrate victory before crossing the finish line only to end up second place due to the delay that caused 😆
Talk about Karen Energy lmao, complaining that she survived.
It filled my heart with joy that everyone got out.
