just a note: going down the elevator and clearing it and going back up instantly respawns the super mutants in wes tek for me so it's worth giving it a shot
I've found going down and back up that elevator eventually glitches out Westtek. I'll go down, clear it out and fast travel to my camp outside. That way the one minute cooldown on the main part of the building yields at least some xp.
The lag sounds like a last Gen problem. I run series X and I run west tek with the reset for my whole hour of lunch boxes with no issues most of the time. Sometimes there will be the clipping but it's rare.
I get frags from roughly 1/3rd minimum of the enemies I defeat each day 😁 I end up with 20+ going into my stash for later, which added up to 60 until I used em all today 😅 uranium event super mutants were strong. I had to respawn 3 times ngl
I would add something on top of this great method. Once you are done with Westek, you go down the elevator, clear the enemies there, then fast travel out of there in front of Westek or to your close-by tent. I repeat, you need to fast travel to exit the instance, don't use the door or else that visual bug will trigger. By using this method, you will have a constant flow of exp and don't have to wait 1 minute for the instance to clear.
@@Romey1son Not so sure, he mentioned again in these comments that he avoids the elevator because of the bug, but if you use the method that I wrote, the bug doesn't trigger. I am guessing that not many people bothered with this thing after they have noticed the bug.

Instigating because of the 100 percent damage increase to your nuka grenade. The first 5 or 6 mutants you kill, you can use any other gun, instigating is only needed for the grenade toss.

You should look into this, bro. I Think they patched the Instigating effect with grenades and now they die a little slower. I’m almost 2k level so I’m pretty sure of this
Yeah, I second this. Ran a few tests and highest I could get with instigating was about 850. Nothing I did pushed it over 1000 will try with bloodied as suggested .
Is it double damage that makes the thousand total damage or is it double damage of the thousand but doesn’t show that it is actually doing 2000 damage???
Anyone else not getting the results from this that they anticipated? This double XP weekend is the first time I've tried the nuka grenade method. It's also the first time I"ve been herbivore with cranberry relish and live and love mag with leader bobble heads. I usually only get 3200 xp per super mutant when doing runs with a 50 cal. I'm getting confirmed 4k per super mutant kill with this method because of the extra XP buffs I have this time around but I'm only getting about 15 levels per hour with this method where normally I get 20 or 20+ running around killing things individually with the 50 cal. It usually takes me about 4 minutes to do a clear (counting 1 min reset time) this method I'm clearing in 1:10 with a 1 minute reset. So 2:10 seconds per run. I don't get it. This method on paper should be waaaaay faster.
I have an instigating flamer. I may not be killing enough enemies. I noticed by the time the double XP weekend was over that the super mutants seem to be spawning in completely random/new places. The amount of XP I got with each grenade seemed to get more and more random. I'm wondering if the mutants were ending up out of place for the grenade to be efficient on some throws. @@AngryTurtle
Working now this new Season? I tryed yesterday and the nuka grenade only gave 1000 xp for damage..:( One nuka grenade dont kill this first and second room all super mutants..

First star effects mostly transfer to throw able items. Anti-Armor, Bloodied, instigating, executioner, Vampires are a few. If you are low on health, equip a Vampire weapon and toss a grenade, almost instant heal if you hit a group (great for Rad Rumble or Moonshine)
