Small Shop Dust Collection 2023. RIDGID 4 Gallon Shop Vac & Dustopper

This is my small shop dust collection system using a rigid shop vac and dustopper cyclone system.

I got a couple of that model small Ridgid vacuums so I an just gonna do the same, get new filters and bags and use some kinda cyclones, maybe the same ones !!

I had the dust deputy for a long time and I found that using a bad in the vac worked wonders from keeping the filter from clogging as fast. You still will empty out the bucket all the time. It is never large enough!

I have a dust stopper on an old Craftsman shop vac. I virtually get no fine dust in my shop vac .I was surprised to see so much in yours.

What is the diffuser thing for? Looks like you didn’t use it?

Noise. and airflow out of the back. Makes a difference for sure.
