Most motorcycle accidents are single vehicle accidents. We like to blame the other vehicles on the roads, but need to understand that we as riders are the number one cause of motorcycle accidents.
What I have noticed about deer over the years is they usually roam in groups. Especially the females... When I see one there is usually another one or two right near it... Good video.. thanks
Thanks for viewing! That is true. Also, sometimes they are being chased by a predator and dart across the street. I was so closed to hitting a huge buck recently it was disturbing, it shot out of nowhere, it was at dusk. Just a half second more and my SUV would have been totaled. I'm chill on driving or riding at dusk and night, the only times I've had close calls with deer and drunk drivers.
also wearing high vis does almost nothing, a bright helmet does though. The biggest issue is size, and perception of speed. If you wear multi color high vis you're broken up into small pieces making your size just as small if not smaller.
If I cant filter I stop to the offside of my lane so my headlight is inline with the drivers side mirror so the person behind me can smash into the car infront instead of me being inbetween.
Never turn the steering fast above 10 mph l. Main goals stay away from everything. Its a fact, always anticipate but never overreact. When you're stopped in traffic never center yourself behind the car put yourself to the left tire or right tire when behind a car and always give a car lengths distance to any car driving or stopping. See how you're riding along with the red car, don't do that. No car can be next to me unless youre doing 15mph or less. Also pay attention to the driver in your mirror. Youll know if they respect you. They'll give you 300 ft. I love those drivers. They never ride up on a motorcycle. Get away from them, the people that ride a long side of you or behind you and never alow the car in front to dictate your speed. Never give attention to any cars riding along side you with loud mufflers. They see motorcycle as race competition. . I hate people who attach themselves to me when im riding. I dont like that energy. If cars are going slow give three car lengths because the driver in front will set you up . You dont want to keep messing with the brake or the clutch riding with traffic, give major distance. My himalayan 450 is amazing. You can turn off abs put in eco mode which is great and you can put it in performance mode. Riding in the snow I was in eco mode. Which backs off the power until you get going. With somewhat of nobby tires the Himalayan loves snow. When riding in the snow watch for drivers that like to throw the snow toward you with their tires.
I see that you wear a black helmet recently I switched to a white helmet and I added the brake free helmet light on the back of my helmet I have gotten several comments from cage riders that pulled up to me at a stop light and said to me wow I can really see you so much better with the white helmet and the addition of the brake free light I have gotten so many comments on my brake free light give that light a try cycle cruiser that light is highly visible during the day and at night wow it's really bright e ery cage rider has commented on my brake free light how they see me so much sooner and better

Hey, I would like to know your opinion on Michelin Road 5s on mt07 from factory.... My expirience isnt that great... I got new 2022 mt07 and ofcourse new tires but I found them not grip enough in cold or wet. Maybe bcs they're made to last?
I have the same bike and tires. If they aren’t good enough for you in those conditions I honestly don’t know what tire will possibly have more grip in wet or cold. They are honestly the best all around tires I’ve ever rode on. Sure I’ve had road racing slicks but they sucked except in clean and dry conditions.
They are great tires to me, I noted that the first time I rode my MT-07. I don't ride much in rain but they were fine to me. My favorite tires are Pirelli Angel GT tires.
@@davidleonard8369 idk, maybe its about me.... I dont have that much expirience this is my first "serious bike" but I found them sketchy in some ocasions and not giving me much confidence, I bought Bridgestone s22's and will try them when season comes.... No better way to compare than trying more options 😁
@@CycleCruza Thanks for a response, just got some Bridgestone s22's after some research and waiting to try them next season, stay classy and stay safe out there 💪🏻😁
I pretty much ride defensively and am definitely not a speed rider, which makes zero since to me. What are you proving riding 100mph down a road? Is it really worth taking a chance? No. With this I am annoyed that the airvest is so expensive. I have been told isn't your life worth it and I say back if life was worth it than why is it so expensive, would've it be in a price range where it is afforable to save lives, make it make since. Is the concern really about saving lives or making money? Go figure. Saving life equipment in my eyes are no different than pharmaceutical, and you know what we think about them. Anyway I have everything and do everything but the vest because I can't afford it and my insurance company won't help me, go figire that to. Discount on cage airbags but none to airvest, sucks.
Although the price for an airbag vest is pricey it pales in comparison to what medical expenses are should you crash without airbag gear. You can't put a price on your safety and well being. If more riders bought airbag vests and more companies start making them(competition) the costs would come down. Right now very few companies make airbag gear and there are a still a ton of riders that don't wear airbag gear. I don't ride without my airbag vest. Stay safe!
A 700cc motorsickle is slow? It can do 130mph is slow? You lost your mind if you believe that. It's fast enough to get killed on. Cycle you need to downgrade to a Grom or a 50cc bike that's max speed is 60mph than if you want slow.
No where did he say that a 700cc bike is slow or that 130 mph is slow. He has stated countless times that he uses the MT07 for its low end torque and zippiness around town.
It looks like a rehash of the bike they had like that before. I hear the Buels are nice and torquey. However, I'd be hesitant to get one because there are so few dealers and support.
Data from the Ohio Highway State Patrol shows that Ohio motorcyclists are particularly bad. Unlike most states, when a motorcycle is involved in a crash with another vehicle, it is the motorcyclist who is most often at fault.

People today can't leave their phone alone when driving. Life is MORE important than ANY call/text you will receive during a drive.
I nearly died when a ups truck pulled out in front of me, now I'm still waiting to get more surgeries until I can regain some mobility. The accident was bad I lost memory of it, luckily I was not going any faster because I could have been paralyzed,
City riding is the biggest test of skills every rider should develop. You have to have your head on a swivle and be ready for the next move. Lane position, knowing the lights, paying attention to side streets, loud horns, and being seen. I wish more vendors would make gear in colors than black, grey, or brown. Red, orange, hi-vis, bright blue or green, are all colors that can save your life on the streets.
Idk why they make black. It’s hot af in the sun and you can’t be seen day or night
For horns, spend the money and get one of the air horns or the Hella supertones. They are loud and are not expected to come from a motorcycle so they draw attention even from distracted drivers.
If you are a night driver, extra lights are your best purchase and if you can't add lights, reflective strips. If you want to be the most safe, get a helmet stop light. They are amazing at keeping you seen. I had a driver almost hit me and he admitted the helmet light is what save me. Safety on the streets is the number 1 thing.

@@CycleCruza Thanks for a response, just got some Bridgestone s22's after some research and waiting to try them next season, stay classy and stay safe out there 💪🏻😁
And booze.
Ppl boozing and riding.
It is hard to believe a rider would drink and ride but it is more common than people think. So many fools out there.
@ I was a fool like that and had a REAL F’D UP DAY.
never again.
1st. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Be safe on two wheels everyone..💯
Happy Thanksgiving!
What’s your opinion on the new buell hammer head bikes?
It looks like a rehash of the bike they had like that before. I hear the Buels are nice and torquey. However, I'd be hesitant to get one because there are so few dealers and support.
Data from the Ohio Highway State Patrol shows that Ohio motorcyclists are particularly bad. Unlike most states, when a motorcycle is involved in a crash with another vehicle, it is the motorcyclist who is most often at fault.
I believe that is true.
