Your positive attitude in your videos really boosts my spirits. I had been very depressed since my wife recently died. The happy optimistic mood is very enjoyable. Your photography is excellent, and the British Columbia scenery is spacticular. Although my wife and I have visited all US states, most Canadian provences, and much of the rest of the world, British Columbia has always been one of our favorite places. I hope to visit once again. Keep up your good work, and I hope you continue to have fun and strike it rich some day.

If you want to find beautiful river agates, I recommend going to the Gill Road Boat Launch in Chilliwack, B.C. It's a large-ish bit of the Fraser that branches off near Rosedale. Dozens of rockhounds go there each day, and it's completely free to go. It is public river access, so you would not need to worry about getting fined for taking stones or minerals.
You can find absolutely stunning agates. I found a pink one the last time I went, as well as about 15 other agates. They are small in size, but if you are lucky, you can find a big one! I found a large agate that was still connected to a chunk of the host rock. Apart from agates, another one of the common minerals found there is jasper, as well as another type called mookaite jasper. It's a beautiful yellow and red streaked stone with a rarer purple variant.
I strongly recommend maybe going there once or twice in your free time or perhaps even filming a video there. Hope you have a chance to see this comment, goodbye!

The low camera angle from the boat definitely exposes how fast the river is running. I liked the low drown shot over Tim's island as well.

I have recently found some very impressive samples of jade/serpentine/neferite on the Lytton panning reserve! They are still there as it is far too difficult to hike those out! Probably why there are so many to find, lots of big gold flakes though! Those were unfortunately too light to notice at all on my hike out. Great fun, November 2023. My interest in panning has been Lytton fire!

Dan, i've always thought using a light box to photograph your rocks and gems would dramatically increase the ability to see their colors and characteristics. They can be built at home for a few bucks- as simple as white paper and a few lamps or lights. They can help increase the amount of light on an object, but also diffuse the light so that you don't have glare or silhouetting.
