A creative person is also ambitious through passion. The need to challenge yourself in the creative process grows when you know you will succeed, believe in the idea, trust your abilities, etc. Obstacles and limitations are either a lack of material resources or a tight schedule. At worst, tiredness from the whole thing. I often hear some say that less is more. Or stop painting in time before it stops breathing. There is wisdom in this advice. Great post again Sam, thanks!
Oh Lord! 20 items and then down to 3 or 4. Hey. I am already beginning to do that with my to-do list. I'm on the right track. Now, i never thought to create a project list and prioritize it. I always combined everything in one list Painting. Guitar. Photography. TH-cam. Thanks for the idea
I wish this was the advice I could've used. I've focused 110% of my ambition into my career but still am not getting the results I want and it's making me mad.
Thats fair enough but one thing crossed my mind tho.So if somebody does for example graphic design right, most of people fail to grab attention of masses because of bad hooks or strategy or that its just plain work right. And photography for example, you have ability to capture something that already looks nice from real life and automatically taps into all those different things people on social media are seeking for. With design tho, even if your work is great enough already. You still have to sort of give off value rather than just show.yep this is what i do now follow me.Because from my experience this wont get much reach and nearly any following.I would say it really depends on what you do.If you do something that goes with one and other, great for you.If you dont, you gotta look for how to connect dots and what else to learn to make it actually work.Same as engine in car alone wont make a car actually go,yet when you buy car as a whole that might repressent skill you chose that can cover other ones.
You are right. putting in great work isn't enough. You need to show how your skills actually solve problems for others. Like with graphic design, don't just post "here's my work" - show how your designs help businesses grow or connect with customers. That's what makes people stop scrolling and actually care about what you do. Keep creating man. Thanks for the thoughtful comment.
Have you ever read Time Management for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman? Sounds like you came to the same conclusions as him. Also you should wait to release your program for when you have a bigger following so you can make more money.
I live in Alaska. Did you know....... that the natives get offended if ya call them that? Not all of em but one time, it almost felt as if one called the other one the "N" word.

Well, it's good that I'm not ambitious then.
