The Kryptotal Fr is Continental's only front-specific model, designed to excel in mixed terrain by balancing stability, grip, cornering support, and rolling resistance. Tested as part of Vital's Front Tire Roundup (link below), where we put eight front tires head-to-head and compared how they rode in dry, loose over hardpack, sandy, and rocky terrain, we were eager to see if how the Kyrptotal Fr would perform!
    Specs:
    - Width: 2.4”
    - Casing: DH
    - Compound: Super Soft
    - Verified weight: 1318g
    - MSRP: $100 USD

Yall forgot to mention it has a sick graphic integrated into the sidewalls, increasing aesthetic performance and of course resulting in higher speeds and/or stoke.

Argotal DH SS is better performing on wet roots and stones. I use it on my Canyon SpectralCF 125 in the front. And the Argotal Trail Endurance on the rear. Perfect choice for the wetish trails here in north Germany.

I tried them all throughout the last 1.5 years. Argotal Enduro 2.6, Argotal Enduro 2.4, Kryptotal Re Enduro 2.4, Kryptoral F Enduro 2.4, Kryptotal Fr Trial Endurance 2.4, Kryptotal Fr DH SS 2.4, compared to Assegai MaxxGrip, Minion DHF and DHR :D
The Argotal is good when its muddy or super loose, but with anything else you are better off using the Kryptotal. On wet rocks or roots the open profile doesn't really help and the rolling resistance is a bit worse. But in the winter it really helps in many situations where you are otherwise about to die :D

Sounds like you got the wrong version for an "All Mountain" test on trail bikes?

Conti dropped the ball a bit here.. The super soft only comes in DH casing, and you definitely want a super soft on the front. I've been riding the enduro /soft and it leaves me still want a bit more.

@@-phos- It's a bit strange that they don't make a Enduro Supersoft for the front, and an Enduro Endurance for the rear.

Man these reviews and comparisons is what I need hah. Stuck in the world of assegai or dhf in the front, so this is great info for my next tyre

Any idea why they maake a 2.6 rear Kryptotal
, but only a 2.4 front ? Seems a little backwards to me.

So the main thing I've found with the Kryptotals, is they like to run about 2-3psi lower than Maxxis, that gets rid of a lot of the excess stiffness in the sidewall and they start to feel as supple as a Maxxis.

Testing means aggressive riding lol, how do you test tires without going hard?

I think this would have been much more informative if the Kryptotal trail, enduro, and downhill had been compared.

I really enjoyed --WBT. Velociraptor. There is front and back. For desert it was great.
