I've been jumping up and down a side street here in Winston Salem with my 1/2lb ropes and it's generated a lot of onlooker interest/questions :) This rope looks like a good next step.
I got mine yesterday and my ropes full of kinks from the way it’s been packaged which is making it default to skip with. Is there a way to smooth out the rope?
I got this rope and it is great to jump with and the adjustment system is awesome, material tho curls a lot and sometimes that interferes with the jumping
In my 11 years dancing with a rope i have had cheap and expensive ropes. I decided to purchase this one to see if it lives up too the hype about Crossrope. Also wanted to up my game in the freestyle dept. If its good and lasts then ill upgrade to the premium versions. Tried it sorry crossrope this is a perfect example of getting what you pay for.
My only concern is the short handles. Long handles are what make a freestyle jump rope. I’m a little curious on why this is a freestyle rope and not just a simple rope.
IASOU2005 mid length does not do it all. Long handles are freestyle handles, these aren't mid length handles. They didn't make a freestyle rope, that's just what they titled it. The rope does not perform well at all for a freestyle rope.
The Yo basically all Crossrope jump ropes are for just straight on jumping for cardio. Including this Freestyle LE. Jump Rope veteran already tried it on his channel and agrees. The one and only Crossrope that’s good for freestyle, speed and tricks is the Bolt. I have tried dozens of jump ropes. The Bolt is hands down the best. The handles are 6”, same as the Buddy Lee Aerospeed. I can do anything with it I want to, but then again I’ve been jumping rope since 1998.
I'm curious about this rope. However, with shipping and - possibly - nat. tax at arrival, it will be an 80 dollar rope:( Not sure I'm willing to pay that much. Even if it's not "busted" at customs, it's still 50 dollars.

I am having no issues with mine. And I have two.
I lay it in the sun until it warms up and the kinks relax. Some ppl use hot water.

I but it boiling water for two minutes and it straightened right out

I got mine 2 days ago and it's nice. However, it's just another short-handled rope - not the 'freestyle' rope I was expecting.
