- I'm back for Vlogmas again, giving you a peek into my life in London. I absolutely love this time of year, and I cannot wait for all of the fun, Christmassy activities that I've got planned between now and Christmas! I really hope that you enjoy getting into the holiday spirit with me.

I was actually waiting for this to drop. 😄you have me addicted. I can't wait to see your dress. I think it is going to be so lovely. You have inspired me to get to work on my dress. I am sitting here looking at the fabric. Yes, I have been procrastinating. Ho! ho! ho! 🎅🎄
Ooh, tell me what you're making! I'm definitely feeling the time crunch. Good luck to both of us getting them made up in time!
Thank you Theresa, your dress is going to be beautiful. How amazing to see the Gingerbread City, so much work goes into those designs. Dinner looked delicious.
Thank you. It's always very inspiring to see other people's creativity!
Love love love seeing gingerbread city! Absolutely amazing
I always leave feeling so inspired!
Enjoying all of your Christmas vlogs,
Thank you
🎄🎄🎄 ❤❤❤
You're very welcome! 🎄
Beautiful Gingerbread city❤
Always a treat!
Thank you for the trip to gingerbread city! Can’t wait to see the dress!!
Thank you - crossing my fingers about the dress!
Amazing decorations at the pub. The gingerbread creations are incredible. Velvet and corduroy always make such a mess. My dark socks all ended up covered in bright green bobbles after making my latest pants. I am just going to call them festive 😂.
Haha, I think it's just part of the process. I will have my lint roller at the ready when sewing this!
The gingerbread creations are amazing. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I hope I can get to see it
I always enjoy seeing the originality. I've gone for 4 years, but the last two have been at different locations. I wasn't impressed with this venue. They usually set them up like an art exhibition with nice lighting and on different levels to create a scene. These just felt like some gingerbread plopped on some fold out tables. It's a shame!
@LostMyThread Oh, that's a shame. It'll be my first one, so I won't have anything to compare it to. Excited to see it anyway.
Thanks for showing us the gingerbread houses. How amazing was it. Nothing like that here in Aus.
It seems like a fun project for the Architecture students. I'm always inspired!
In Seattle there is a fundraiser for Juvenile Diabetes and some chefs in the area do a gingerbread display. It is usually spectacular.
So nice! And for a great cause. 💞
Thank you for the gingerbread tour. Beautiful!
I always enjoy seeing the creations!
I so very much appreciate you taking me along on your outings! You’ve had a really busy day!
It felt like a nice one. Some relaxing, some good progress on christmasy projects!
Gingerbread City looked amazing, so many interesting structures. Looking forward to seeing how your christmas dress turns out too.
Thank you! I think this fabric may be a challenge... 😬🤞
@@LostMyThread good luck! You can do it
Hi, you find such great things to show us. Thank you so much Angela
There's plenty around in London!
So lovely Theresa! We used to have a gingerbread village in Melbourne every year at Christmas but they haven't done it since 2022 - the rumours were due to not having enough chefs. 😔
Oh what a shame! It's such a lovely festive thing, and the kids love it.
Your dinner looked lush, as did the meringues.
I'm wondering if I need more of the meringues. They're so bite sized and absolutely delectable!!
It feels like a weighty moment for you to cut into your fabric. We've all been in this together since you first mentioned it as a goal for the year (in your 24 for 2024 video, maybe? Or maybe in person back in Feb).
I'm so emotionally invested in the outcome... No pressure 😅
Haha, well I appreciate that you've been on this journey with me. I'm quietly optimistic. The cutting out went well. It's now just a question of working with this shifty fabric... 😬
@LostMyThread The cutting out is the worst part, so you've got this!
I have to tell you that your hot chocolate bombs are so good. I made them and mine are a disaster. But that just makes them me. One hot mess! 😂😂😂
Oh noooo! 😂 Do they still work? They make really good hot chocolate, so hopefully they will be usable.
@ they are useable, just not pretty!
@michellem3899 glad you can still enjoy the end result!
I meant to comment in your other Vlog about colouring the meringues without getting them too liquidy, you can dip a cocktail stick or skewer into food colouring and run it up the inside of your piping bag two or three times and then add the meringue mixture. Works a treat, you can do it with buttercream too.
I did consider doing this, but I felt like the candy cane topping was enough of a pop of color. Great tip, though!
Excited for the dress! Good luck and hope you find you have plenty of time.
Does anyone know if it is still possible to buy the Belemnite pattern? I've had no luck finding it... thank you.
Thank you, I should be able to manage the dress. I don't actually have tons of stuff planned for my next days off, which is no accident! Unfortunately, it seems like Marilla Walker has stopped selling her patterns. I did see a paper version for sale on Minerva. I might reach out to her and see if she can recommend any other way to get the dress pattern. It's so gorgeous!
@LostMyThread thank you, that's really kind. Minerva seem to no longer have it. But don't add more to your list of things to do! It'll be stunning in your velvet fabric...
