I'm always a little envious when I watch these. In America, we just don't have all the prepared food like you do. I'm blown away by the amount and variety that you have.
The supermarkets go mad at Christmas because they know people will spend more as it’s only once a year. As we’re such a secular society we celebrate consumerism at Christmas rather than faith.
We actually do though. I guess it depends on where you live and where you shop though. I live in a major city and you can finds tons of prepared foods in stores here
Love that store. Yes your grocery prices are cheaper than ours in the US. And I’m with you get everything premade. I’ve cooked so many meals in my life time I love being lazy now. 73 years old I deserve precooked. 😂😂. Thanks for showing us your Christmas shopping. Enjoy and Merry Christmas. ❤️❤️
Target stores in America have a Christmas collaboration with M&S this season! I purchased the Santa's workshop music box! Lovely to see it in the store. Thank you Hannah for taking us along again!
No one is "filthy" in Britain at Christmas. (Unless you're filthy rich...) Tradition since the dark Middle Ages, is The Annual Christmas Soak ! ❤😅😂❤😅😂❤😅😂❤
I'm American and the highlight of my trips to London are going to Marble Arch M&S food area. I bring home loaves of bread (you don't add a ton of sugar and chemicals and store them in the freezer when I get home. I buy porridge, mushroom truffle pasta sauce, and beef crisps. I would buy more if I was allowed to bring more back to America. I think struggle walking across the street with my bags to Selfridges and get a latte. It's such a wonderful experience. Their Christmas shop upstairs was much smaller this year.
Hi I'm in the US. I love looking at your foods and the prices over there. It seems that the shops over there have so much more in prepared foods than I find over here. I'd love to try some of those! I also think your prices are so much better than ours. Those pointsettia plants for instance would cost twice that here. All those prepared foods are a bargain to me. I think you picked out some lovely food for Christmas. Hope you have a very merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thanks for taking us shopping with you.
It breaks my heart that the powers that be would so callously tear down such a wonderful building. We are losing our history so quickly and there is no way to replace it once it's ripped down, Well, on to happier things. Thanks for a fantastic holiday treat as always. There is nothing like browsing the aisles on a grey and rainy day and finding a few Christmas treats to enjoy. Mum and her Great Granddaughter (my Granddaughter) are watching with me and are thoroughly impressed with all the Christmas tins of biscuits and we all love the M&S flowers and bouquets. I'd love to do an easier Christmas supper but our stores don't carry that sort of thing. I'm stuck in the kitchen all day but it's always worth it when everyone sits down to enjoy. LOL I do admit that one year I might opt for Chinese takeaway. Have a great week everyone and Merry Christmas!
I loved this video, you’re so honest and funny. Your prices are so much better than ours in the US. Love to see some more videos outside of London or you walking around the neighborhoods. Merry Christmas 🎄
Visiting the parents for a night before Christmas and I thought YAY! I’ll pop into M&S and pick up Christmas for them… then I remembered we live in Western Australia 🥺
Thoroughly jealous of whats in your trolley! Im salivating at the various beige picky bits. I really miss M&S, French supermarkets in general especially at Christmas dont hold a candle to M&S. Enjoy your beige treats! Noticed on the small cheese tray Fourme d'Ambert, a delicious cheese which is one of my favs. Wish I could be that lazy again 😂
I always enjoy your vlogs very much. As for M&S foods, nothing compares. I remember returning from Sweden where everything is homemade if you live in the countryside, and immediately visited my local M&S for some comfort and sanity. It can't be beaten!! Thanks Hannah!!!!!
We used to have M&S fresh food in Czech Republic before Brexit - now they only import here everything frozen or whatever is dry and packed (like pasta, wine, cans). Was so glad to see they brought also minced pies (x2 on price from UK one) - I've tried them on my first visit to London I had last Christmas (truly magical trip it was!), and loved them.
Try warm Mince pies with Brandy cream. You can heat it for 1 minute in the microwave. I also heat a cup of red wine for one minute, and add a Kirch cherry or clove, it's like mulled wine in winter. Put into glasses and add slice of orange.
I find it impossible not to comment on your vlogs, because they always contain so many great moments. And this vlog was not quite boring. I am keeping a running list of all the places you are featuring this year, so that I can use it as recommendations for my visit next Christmas. I wish I had an M and S near me, because some times the thought of cooking is indeed awful. My favorite comment you made (there were so many great ones) was about those pain-in-your-side crackers- “Oh, no! Just trivia? That’s a bit rude. You gotta have a bit of crap in it, don’t you? Here you go, here’s the crap.” Cheeky and delightful. And, you can call me a filthy animal anytime. I got the joke the first time, and I will always laugh whenever you say it. 10 out of 10, again, Hannah. Thanks!
Lovely to see you again!!!!😍😍😍😍 There's nothing wrong with getting already prepared food. You have to do that sometimes. Take care of yourself!!!!! The crappers full!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤🌈🌈🌈🌈😘😘😘😘💕💕💕💕😀😀😀😀🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏🙏💐💐💐💐😂😂😂😂😉😉😉😉😍😍😍😂😂😂😂🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹💐💐💐💐💐💐🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
A Christmas and New Years feast on the cheap. No fuss No mess. A seasonal blessing. ( We're a day ahead in NZ, its Monday in the antipodes). Will you do a tour of old pubs, quirky shops, alleys, courtyards and gardens, where the wild things are .[ For the filthy animals]. What do the dissolute and disreputable do in the holy season ?
"Oh, cellulite, sign me up!". I just spit out my coffee laughing!!! Yes, food here on Maui is significantly more expensive compared to the UK and the mainland. The vast array of food trucks can be a great value for really good food. But I make most everything from scratch.
What a great surprise!!! You have made our holiday season so much fun! We left London in early November and have been watching you over & over since getting back. Feels like we're still on our trip! Thanks Hannah!
Hannah All My Christmas Food From MS Have Ordered it. I Can't Believe They are Thinking of Knocking Down That Beautiful Building 😮😡 Have a lovely Week.Xx 😘
Hey Hannah, M&S shop is a very good choice. I hope you have a very nice Sunday evening. Thank you Hannah for your big effort in showing us 3 vlogs per week and always on time!! 😀🎄❤
Happy Sunday, Hannah! Love the third vlog this week. M&S bears only the slightest resemblance of Trader Joe’s here in the US with all the own brand merchandise. I don’t know if the food is less expensive, but you do have many more prepared options available than the stores in my area. Hope you’ve had a fabulous weekend and that your week has a grand beginning. See you Tuesday!
Just in case anyone wants some. I just saw M&S Christmas treats and baubles at my local Target. P.S. in case no one told you today you're awesome 🥰❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
I love M&S food and, as I am disabled, on special occasions it is nice to be able to have some really lovely food that my husband can manage to cook (ie put in the oven) without needing any input from me (providing he is wearing his reading glasses lol). They also have best gluten free range too.
I have just recently found you and I have been binging on your vlogs. You are a ray of sunshine on any day. Thank you for all the hard work you put into every vlog. Long may you continue ❤ (BTW I am from South Africa)
Hi Hannah!!!! Merry Christmas. I just want to say your videos are great. I’m in Florida. I just watched two videos like yours. One in Paris and one in New York. They’ve got nothing on you. They didn’t talk much. I love your commentary. Anyway Happy Holidays!!!!
Hello Hannah great to see you on a Sunday afternoon but I'm ready as always to see where you are going shopping you always brighten up my day and week. Merry Christmas Lady Hannah.☕👋🇬🇧
"We're gonna be good...oh, I don't know!" 🤣 Love your food shopping videos! I spent $75 at my local Aldi yesterday...ahhhh! I'm fortunate to live in Ohio where beef and pork prices are low, yet seafood is quite high. Love Aldi!
Just saw the toy workshop music box here in the US in Target today. Actually I saw several things you shown. For the last few years they have a small section of their items in Target during the holidays. This year they even had mugs. The packaging is beautiful.
Hello ! I've watched your video with genuine shopping envy !!! Even in Oslo, we don't have anything like that store.😢 You're meant to do your own cooking here. Hi Hannah, 👋 most of us love a dander, and splurge around Mark's and Sparks at Christmas time. Their biscuits in tins are iconic! I love their fruit cake 'slabs', an awful word! 😂 Enjoy. See you soon. ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️🎄🎅🎄✨️✨️🎄🎅🎄✨️✨️🎄🎅✨️✨️
I should think so love all those bags of food Hannah you can’t go wrong with m&s food and I understand no videos over Christmas family comes first and have a good rest Hannah from all that hard work you do thank you so much for m&s vlog Hannah and a merry Christmas to you see on Tuesday bye 🙋♂️ love 🥰.
Great video Hannah. I'm not a huge fan of Christmas or the food (chistmas pudding, mince pies, spouts - Yuk though love mulled wine) but love M&S food and always a pleasure watching one of your videos. You really have been busy recently - put your feet up and chill with a glass of wine.
Hannah, I look forward to your videos so much! I live in Atlanta Georgia and we do have Fresh Market, which has a lot of prepared food.i love treating my family to some of their goodies, especially for Christmas
M & S Marble Arch is always a good place to shop, especially at Christmas you can’t beat it. Good food at good prices, they even have nice ladies fur jackets don’t they Hannah. ❤
You picked some yummy items for your Christmas gathering! I have one to go to next week, M & S reminds me of Lidl's here in the USA. That's where I'm going to pick out a few items. 👍🏾 Have a good evening.
Omg I so agree! The only one I visited was near Harrogate and I never understood its purpose. At. All. Ty for another informative and entertaining episode. Blessings.
Love your vlogs, Hannah. I live in New Zealand where everything is horrendously expensive so your UK prices look quite good even though I have to double them due to the exchange rate! Have a very merry Christmas!
Hello Hannah, I guess you're on Xmas holidays and we're taking full advantage of your leave by enjoying full-on your back to back vlogs twice a week and still wanting more...M&S stuff is very tempting..Cheers
Great prices and great selection. If I lived in England I would definitely shop there. Add a green salad with veggies and everything won’t look so beige-lol! Love your choices; looks delicious.
I like that you have a large variety of fresh prepared food that isn’t frozen, such as the prawns & spring rolls. These are frozen items where I live. 🇨🇦
Oh Hannah, you don't know how happy you make me. I still dream of M&S food coming back to my country. They have lots of stuff they haven't had before so I'd enjoy it even more. I agree with you re the fruit. It was always the sweetest and ripest. I used to love their gluten free mince pies. Last year I bought them from Sainsbury's and they were good, but the M&S ones were better I think. I'm loving advent with your videos, I don't want it to end🤩
Thank you so much for another great vlog Hannah. I do not find it boring at all! I live in the US and love seeing all the different things you have that we don't. I would love to shop at M&S. Don't cook much anymore so the premade foods are wonderful - such a selection.
M&S pork and sage stuffing is nice with pasta. Cook in the oven, have a separate tin with thinly sliced potatoes and garlic in olive oil, cut stuffing into pieces, mix with pasta and sprinkle with parmessen, or add a sauce. Serve with the potatoes and salad as a side.
Those red bus and guardsman tins with the shortbread biscuits, they are offered at Target here in the US. Apparently, Target has a partnership with Marks & Spencer and every holiday season, there is a holiday displays in Target with the biscuits, teas, and cocoa.
I'm always a little envious when I watch these. In America, we just don't have all the prepared food like you do. I'm blown away by the amount and variety that you have.

The great thing is that most of the food was prepared 2 years ago and has been sitting in warehouses. The joy of preservatives!!
I can't wait to go back over again and go to M&S to try all sorts of different foods
Walmart has around 10 aisles in most stores dedicated to stuff like this. Aldi’s, Kroger, HEB. All have this stuff.
Easily the best vlogger out there! Unpretentious and down to earth and not afraid to say it as she sees it! 😊
We all appreciate the vlogmas you've done for us. You've gone above & beyond for us. Many thanks, hannah 😊
Target stores in America have a Christmas collaboration with M&S this season! I purchased the Santa's workshop music box! Lovely to see it in the store. Thank you Hannah for taking us along again!
Last year too. UK packaging is topnotch.
Picked up a couple of stocking fillers.
Very overpriced though.
Good to know! Thanks!
We bought the chocolate dusted pinecones! Delish!

Sunday is the new Friday (and Tuesday). Thank you for the hard work 😘
Ready meals are great! I live alone and it is very hard to cook for one, and make the mess lol. Merry Christmas

There are many farmers baking bread and artisan bread bakers all over America now…really good bread here too!
@@ambrosiafarms For how much, e.g. in New York, Chicago or San Francisco???
No reason at all to knock down that old architecture!!!!! I hope the people fight back on this! Always enjoy your videos!!!!!
I agree! I can’t believe it. Being London they will have to allow professional
Archeologists in to do a dig before they rebuild.
Love M&S, it's a Christmas staple! I can't believe they've given the go-ahead to tear that beautiful building down. Leave it alone. x
I knew there'd be this remark. Yawn. That building has nothing 'beautiful' about it. Just some bad architecture of that time.

A surprise video for Sunday. Love the lazy food shopping at M&S. Thanks for filming.

Hello !
I've watched your video with genuine shopping envy !!!
Even in Oslo, we don't have anything like that store.😢
You're meant to do your own cooking here.
And it's heavy pork stuff for us South East Norwegians ;
Oven roasted pork rib, pork meatballs, and pork sausages.....
Served at 05.00 pm, on the dot.
(With the National Boy Choir singing in the background).
Add steamed potatoes, saused cabbage, (red/white or both. WTH its Christmas right ) ?!
No pork dinner without gravy of course. A small bucket full will do.... Generously improved with roasting drippings.(!) 😮
And some tart condiments ;
Lingonberry sauce (like cranberry), mustard, sliced pickled gherkin, plus ditto beetroot.
After two (mandatory) helpings of all this, you'll swear off food until Easter, and waddle over to the sofa and telly....
An hour later, it's pudding time. 😅
Creamed rice porrige. With (tart) cloudberry jam.

Saused (Sauced) cabbage? Recipe please?

What a surprise with a third vlog this week. I like M&S food, too and cherry liquor chocolates 😊
Definitely not Lazy - Excellent quality plus some novel products at M&S so convenient and when selective by far the best value for money - TC & BW 👍🎄🙂
M&S looks nicer than Trader Joe’s. TJ’s has a more 70’s hippie-dippie vibe😂. M&S seems more elevated.
Trader Joe's is owned by Aldi. Totally different league.

We loved the M&S video!❤❤❤. We had just shopped at Target in a Pennsylvania location, and purchased several of the holiday tins.
Nice to see M&S Christmas selections! I shop at Aldi in the US. I am planning to make salmon dip for our Christmas Eve get together.
I love London at Christmas ❤
Last year I found Walkers Shortbread Advent cookies. Great with cup of herbal tea
Hannah I was not bored at all. I liked this vlog so much I watched it twice.
Cook in the oven, have a separate tin with thinly sliced potatoes and garlic in olive oil,
cut stuffing into pieces, mix with pasta and sprinkle with parmessen, or add a sauce.
Serve with the potatoes and salad as a side.
Winning the holiday biscuit tin game🎉😂
Those red bus and guardsman tins with the shortbread biscuits, they are offered at Target here in the US. Apparently, Target has a partnership with Marks & Spencer and every holiday season, there is a holiday displays in Target with the biscuits, teas, and cocoa.
What a shame that’s a gorgeous old building.
