- SO what if helldivers 2 has some micro transactions? Look at some of the games, such as League of legends! It's a free game! However, people spend 1000s on it just to buy skins.
We dont know how the game itself is as of yet! Give it a chance, Let it come out. See for yourself, wonder if you'd be actually glad they did what they did with the micro transactions? Idk, just a thought. Let me know in the comments.

I heard on another channel that super credits(buy able with real money) can be earned through playing the missions, then be invested in Battle Pass access to eventually unlock the new weapons only by earning medals.
So, we'll see, but it definitely sounds reasonable.
And IRL money cannot buy BP levels.
It only allow for more cosmetics and direct access to BP content.
Yep, that's 100% correct. It's basically an option for us fans that IF we want to speed things up JUST a lil bit, AND also support the devs willingly, then we can do it that way. Otherwise, we can just play the game normally and it wouldnt cap us in any way.
@@inexorablewarrior I've been playing HD1 since day 1. There is no currency or dlc to level up character. Players level up by playing and completing mission.
Finish mission with getting multiple samples will be rewarding in leveling up weapons, stratagems, and perks. A failure mission can give little gain on experience. However collecting samples and failing the mission will make the samples worthless. So it is necessary and vital to complete the mission.
Just think of constant playthrough. Don't worry on cosmetic, that is an option. Finish the mission while collecting samples and have fun. That's it.

Edit : 14 DLCs, 3€ each.
@@KSpartan Yeah most of them had an armor set 2 weapons and a stragem(mechs or vehicles) or perk.
Yes super credits and war bonds can be earned via irl money or by playing the game you can either work for it or pay for it, I don’t dislike this mainly cause sometimes you get that undesirable itch to just get shit now, but at least it allows you the opportunity to work for it by just playing without any real ROE unlike some games where they want you to do a million very specific things under an unrealistic timeline or else you’ll miss out.
It's so hilarious to me when people whine about cosmetic MTX when they play free to play games(Apex Legends eg) and spend 20-30 bucks on a single skin every month.
20-30 bucks? On a single skin? every month? Nah bro! That's every week if not the other day! I've seen league of legends players spend 1000s of dollars! Literally! I was one of them! And i admit it! and for what? Skins? Which dont even give you anything useful in the game! But if in a game like this, if it turns out to be fun, spending reasonable amount of money that gives you in game content, ILL TAKE IT!

@@palasta Perfectly worded my friend! It is indeed a hardcore coop sci-fi mil-sim. It;s got the elements of starship troopers+wwz, it;s got the team play of Aliens fireteam Elite and it's got the tactfulness of Mil-sim games such as insurgency.
i met my partner on overwatch after its launch (shame what happened with that game btw) we have played games together ever since then, we have made good friends and we all love coop games and helldivers 2 is going to be that one fun game everyone just goes to play for fun, when it overtakes destiny 2 concurrent players its going to be funny as hell.

Had what in HD1? The mechs? Well, top down and in those graphics was somethings else vs 3rd person and today's graphics.
@@inexorablewarrior Oh sorry, i meant the microtransactions. They weren't mini battle passes back then, but pay to unlock. I never felt it was an issue
yeah i dont know WHY people are making such a huge deal out of it. Also, in HD1, there were DLCs for further content unlock. Here, in HD2, there's NOTHING locked behind a paywall. You can unlock everything through gameplay, it's just that, IF you wanna buy warbonds/super credits to speed things up, you can do that. BUT, knowing myself, i think, the way me and my friends play, is basically going balls deep, or diving deep, exploring everything to its minute details, we're gonna get all the in game currency and collectables anyways JUST by PLAYING the game@@xxxxxx7469

On steam If you buy a game and refund it before having played 2 hours the refund is garanteed. That is what he is refering to.
Yep, any game that you buy, you can play it for nearly 2 hours and if you dont like it, you can refund it. Also, that needs to be within 14 days from the date of purchase. Cheers!

Nope, not getting it. I pay for it and I should just get the game. Make it FTP and have micro. Just make expansion if you're going to charge for the game access. Have fun HD2 players.
Yo! The micro transaction are for super credits which you can earn in the game for free anyways, OR you can buy it with real money. Nothing more. It's just a way to support the devs.

@@Darkwater1886 there's NOTHING in the game that have to pay for to get. Everything in the game can be acquired by just playing the game. You earn super credits through missions and you use super credits to unlock stuff in the game. You got no time to grind? Too busy being a dad? Or helping your fam out? You can simply buy super credits with real money to save time or speed things up, guess what? You also help the devs with that. Win win! But if you don't wanna "buy" super credits? Just play the game and earn it through missions. Simple. Hope that helps.

Also, it's just credits that you can buy from real money to speed things up, otherwise you can earn it just playing the game normally. I think it's only a means of supporting the devs further if we want to and also, if anyone wants to save just a little bit of time, which again imo, is kinda stupid? Coz, if i buy a game to play, i'd play it rather than buy my way through it. Thanks!
minigun mech stratagem carried me all the way through the game for the small price of 2.99, meanwhile my friend struggled.
