Hyundai Ioniq 6 review | Real world first impressions | UK drive

  • I was recently invited to drive the new Hyundai Ioniq 6 electric car for a day in the UK. This is the second car from Hyundai's new Ioniq all-electric lineup, coming after the Ioniq 5.
    Although both cars look completely different, they share the same E-GMP electric platform, with an 800-volt architecture and very fast charging. Hyundai likens its design approach to a chess set, where all of the pieces have different designs but share the same base.
    I need to apologise for the sound quality of this video. There's an occasional tapping sound coming from my GoPro or the Rode microphone it's connected to. I'll have to troubleshoot that for future videos.

    My highway range at 100kph is between 280 miles and 295 in Eco mode with and without hvac.
    You can turn off lots of things to suit yourself.
    My AWD 20 inch wheel version is better than expected.

    The 4 squares on the steering wheel also represent the letter "H" in Morse Code instead of the Hyundai logo.

    I tried my Apple maps, which is good, but I use the cars’ nav instead because I works well.

    No rear wiper blade, have to say that is a deal breaker...

      That's a bit cruel, the Vectra is a terrible boring car that only class leads in mediocrity.
      You might not like it but a Vauxhall? Nooooooo😂
