One thing i hate about neji vs naruto is that Tenten never shuts up and just keeps glazing Neji. I just kept shouting "HE'S NOT GONNA SLEEP WITH YOU TENTEN. STFU" It makes watching the temari vs tenten fight that much funnier on rewatch
I do need to say one thing about the one punch thing. I know that some people being like that's all the damage it took to take Neji down is disappointing, but I would argue sometimes that's really all it takes is one good hit, especially if it's an uppercut hitting the jaw which meant Neji's brain was rattled enough that he couldn't get up (him speaking to Hiashi later and Neji seemingly physically fine points to this). And it's not like it's the first time we have had a rattled brain situation like what Tsunade did to Kabuto, just that here it wasn't told when it probably should have been.
Tsunade did that with a special Jutsu designed to disorient the brain. Naruto "allegedly" did something similar to a lesser degree with a single punch after putting no damage on him during the rest of the match. They are NOT the same.
@@espurrseyes42 It's a real life thing that can happen as that's how the human body works in regards to the brain. You're underestimating how fragile the human body can be no matter how strong a person is capable of being when taking a blow at just the right spot. A person can literally die depending on how the back of their head lands on concrete or if a baseball hits them and if they're conscious and feel alright they not even realize the after effects in coming to bite them if they do not seek a medical professional to examine the area. In the anime Hajime no Ippo the main character a novice literally wins that way against their rival for the former way and the latter in Major a baseball anime it happens to the mc's father. So again you can train all you like, that's not going to fix human biology.
@@SonicLegends Imagine expecting people to care about realism in a magic ninja world where the same person that allegedly got serious brain damage from a punch to the chin (which, mind you, he should've been able to see with his Byakugan and dodge, and if his Byakugan was off, why? Because Byakugan doesn't have that big a drain on it compared to the Sharingan and Mangekyo to warrant turning off) took a drilling bow moving at ridiculous speeds through near his heart, near paralyzed the guy, then tracked him down to 64 Palms him.

@@SonicLegends It is nonsensical when this very character and others have survived much, MUCH worse. Even the realism argument doesn't work here. So if a basic uppercut takes out Neji, how's Sasuke, not using Susano or anything to cushion the blow, surviving a punch from Naruto that sent him flying across the Valley of the End into a rock wall? Or before that, taking the whole combo Naruto gave him the first time they were at Final Valley, throwing his ass into a rock wall. I feel like the Sasuke & [Edo] Itachi vs. Kabuto should be way higher, like even into Swag's "C-Tier" category. As far as how that fight ends w/ the usage of Izanami, I think it makes total sense, & when it comes to Japanese lore & mythology, it again makes a lot of sense.
