You made it sound like 18 was relevant for longer than Piccolo, but Android 18 is really only relevant for the first few episodes after the Androids are introduced. Then she just becomes a plot device for Cell. Then she’s a little more fleshed out in the Buu arc but it’s not like she’s all that relevant.
Meanwhile Piccolo is relevant and plays a big role in each arc up until Buu.
Yeah I have no clue what he was talking about Piccolo was a main villain in og db and was pretty much the second mc in the saiyan saga. He's still mangaged to be relevant after all these years meanwhile the only thing 18 has done is break Vegetas arm.
Baby carried that entire show, Super 17 could’ve worked but it falls flat bc we don’t hear or see him at all during the entire show up until that point also it’s just Janemba redux so no, the Shadow Dragons would’ve been nice if 63% of them weren’t fodder and if the dub didn’t completely fuck up Omega’s entire reasoning for fighting them.
Only thing cell was missing for me was more moments of self conflict, which i would've liked to see from him early on. Feels like actively living off the cells of the greatest heroes and villains the universe had seen so far would have made him struggle at times. maybe a moment when hes perfected where his head finally clears along with the power up

Yeah he has cool fights, but if Sage is going to drop Z Broly for just having cool fights and not having much of a character, I don't see why he isn't doing the same for Jiren
I would say that his personality isn't as stagnant as most of the other antagonist. Even Hit has more personality. But in terms of antagonist he is a better antagonist for Goku than Cell or Buu is.
@@KaseyC. He does have a character or more like better motives and depth than Broly so I can see why. Broly's character got retconned in his 2nd appearance.so even then he has no consistency. His 3rd appearance is even worse and became even more bland than what People think jiren is 😂. In other words jiren is more interesting than Z broly.

A lot of those aren’t canon you know that right. And even then some of them aren’t important just a fact and for sure don’t push the plot further.

You know what I would think his favorite character in one piece was if he actually watched it? Either whitebeard or jimbei. I feel like those 2 would be his favorite for the simple fact he runs the whole WWE story/theme so I think, other then roger, these 2 probably have the best story in terms of character history, importance, how strong they are and most importantly, how they are with other people of the show. And these 2 got the most honor, love and bravery for the peopel they tough with, of probably anyone in the show outside guys like zoro and kuma. They some of the realest ones in the entire show

When again,he actually talks,and the stuff he talks is actually cool. A villain doesn't need to be complex to be good. Z Broly is a brutal and arrogant piece of shit,and that's all that's all he needs to be.

Frieza over Gohan is asanine ten 11-19. Gohan got sidelined in ass Super for the cash grab but he’s not below Frieza. As far as compelling & interesting characters go, Gohan is vastly better. Being an antagonistic racist with a revenge streak and endless respawns is NOT enough to be a better character. IMO.

8. Trunks
9. Cell
10. Freeza
HM: Yamcha, Krillin, King Kai.. all 3 are some of my favorites but not as impactful as the others.
