Make sure you put those folbe rod holders in the correct way the solid part must face the back of the boat or they will open up on you, just one mistake and your rod is gone. Great video thanks for taking the time to put it together.
Nice to see you back on the job! Hope all is well. You haven't lost a step. Way to put the wood to those silvers. Hope they make it in to the rivers this falls so I can get a crack at them. Keep getting after 'em and keep sharing your videos. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Steve! Netting is one of my favorite parts. I don't want to jinx myself, but I've never knocked a fish off. I've dropped the net before and I've had them get out of the net, but I got them back. I expect that sooner or later I will lose one, but so far, so good...
Thanks m_p ! There's another chunk of the season coming, starts the 1st of September and I hope to get out a lot more. The weather has been cooperating finally, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed... 🙃
Well now I have something to look forward to! Can’t wait for your next one King! Things are hopping up here in Puget Sound and got a couple of fat ones this morning.
An excellent job as usual. Very good to see you still getting after it! I ate some coho yesterday. It was a Lake Michigan fish, good but nothing like those tasty treats you have there. Here's to many more adventures!

Hey Justin! I usually start at 30, it usually gets bit pretty quick, but I'll strip off more line while I'm trolling, 2 to 5 pulls or even more. I'll shorten up too. What I don't do is troll for Silvers for very long without changing something; speed, heading, depth, location, but I like to start at 25 to 30...
@@kingslew1866 right on, im about the same 20-30 seems to be the sweet spot. Can I ask why you prefer the deep six diver over cannon balls? always willing to try new methods! I usually start trolling straight off the light house then move south to seal rock if the bite is slow. Do you recommend any other spots I should try in between? Thanks
@@JustinChoi-c4xIt's really not a preference, it's just what I've been using. Maybe I don't like the idea of getting hit in the head with a chunk of lead while netting, but maybe I'll rig up some cannon balls and see if I like 'em. As for fish "spots" I think if you find the bait, you find the fish. So, I'm always watching for birds and jumping salmon.
