Thank you for this video. Had a friend replace my battery, still didn’t work and lone and behold, he said those discs were loose. So now I know how to fix it. Thank you!!!!!
Ray I had no idea this was how the fob worked with those little conductive buttons, I wonder if GMs functions the same way? I wont be afraid to take it apart after watching your video! Thanks as always my friend!!
Hello Erik Super Glue would not work and actually cause an adverse effect. You can buy the RTV silicon I used from any auto parts store: Auto Zone, NAPA. Walmart may actually even sell it as well. Hope that helps.
This was so easy to do and it saved me $275.00! Thank you.
Awesome! More for rising groceries prices 😂
Awesome fix thank you. Fixed 3 remotes
Happy to hear it helped you!

Those “lil cups” are missing from my keyfob. is there something we can use in place of those?
I put them on the board 2 years ago and used scotch tape and it worked great!
Excellent! Glad it worked!

Glad you enjoyed it
What kind of adhesive did you use?
I used a black RTV silicone. It hardens well with elasticity and a “rubber” type compound.
Outstanding video

Happy to hear you found some value:)
I just used scotch tape after cleaning and it’s been working for years again.
Instead of glue?
Interesting! With the RTV silicon it will maintain it shape:)
RAM key fob won't work.. cause you're trying to open your Jeep door. lol.
Lol.. Yes! The Jeep Was just in the background! Thanks for tuning in!
You need to invest in a new mic my friend. Can hardly hear you at 0:15
Agree…and I have since. Thank you!
Keyfobs are designed to be a money pitt for Ram customers, what a joke!
Some kid must have designed them…makes me sorry I bought a Ram…
They certainly don’t make things like they use too. But hopefully this video help people save a few bucks!
