It’s not hard. I learned it in 3 hours. Practice will make it sound much better, when you get used to where your left hand should be, you’d be okay. Great tutorial, couldn’t find better!!
I remember my dad playing this once and I loved it. I always hear him play this and sometimes even sing it too. He's been in a alcohol therapy something idk for 6 months now I've met him twice since.. He's finishing in the end of November and when i meet him im gonna play this song for him. Im new to the guitar and im 12. Wish me luck🙃. I hope this video will help me.
I COMPLETELY forgot about this comment but it went great! I even got my own guitar now and I’ve learned so much since then, thank you for asking❤️ sorry this is just another account😂
My dad used to play this song everyday when he took me ice skating or to school or literally anywhere. It reminds me of him and I have beautiful memories with this song so I’m learning to play it thanks for the tutorial ♥️
Thank yoi very much. This is one of my favorite songs and i am a beginner. I wanted to play it without the bar cords. Feels like i can finally start to do this
This is a reallt great video! I usually have a lot of trouble playing the bar chords, and I've wanted to learn this song for a while. Muting the strings really helped, something I never thought of, thank you! :D
Thanks for the tutorial, feels good playing an awesome song on a guitar especially as a beginner. I just need my fingers to get used to pressing strings all the time so it wouldn't hurt after a while ❤
Wooow thank you sooo much... This took me a sec to figure out how you were muting it to get to where I could make it sound like you did.. This is awesome though! It's cool it's all in standard tuning and good practice for getting your hand used muscles to bar chords Thanks!! I loooove this song and singing it too, can't wait until I've got this way down!
Again Thank you! I can make the most amazing music from putting together bits of other influences but I never actually really tried to play theirs completely.I appreciate the up loads so I can play along what was actually created.
Great thanks, I just started playing again after about 20 years, I'm a big Karaoke junkie, but with all the bars closed due to Covid-19, I decided to buy a guitar.
Hey David! Thanks for the tutorial, you’ve helped me play my first song. :) If you take suggestions, I’d love to see a I’m gonna be (500 miles) by The Proclaimers tutorial.
I have arthritis in my hands and have been wanting to play this but can't do barre chords without it hurting. This is a lot more comfortable. Thank you.
I have a problem with muting the strings I don’t wanna play. I’m still a beginner at playing the guitar, so I still need some time, but when I try to press the other strings slightly with my index finger, my other fingers move somehow from the other strings I need to play and I just can’t manage to play it correctly! 😓
Hello. Savage! 💗🎶🍕 I like the normal Cm rather than the Barre Cm. So I do all other barre but Cm. That works for me now but I like other way u show like power chord. Muting chords is strange to me currently like I shud be pressing more firm bc I am always trying to make sure the chord sound each note. Thanks so fun! 🌞🏝💗🐈
This is hard as hell ! 😫 I can't get it to sound that nice not once for once strum... feel like something isn't being communicated allt ehw ay to make this happen !
No barre chords in a popular song(or guitar lesson) is a good day.
@Midnight Toker and powerchords
@@sovietrat1805 powerchord are easy , what do you mean. It only needs 2 fingers
Now I feel like I'm bad at everything because this seems so easy and like everyone can do it
@@firebirdfreespirit8414 we all felt that one day but training is the key
It’s even harder if you have a classical guitar...
It’s not hard. I learned it in 3 hours. Practice will make it sound much better, when you get used to where your left hand should be, you’d be okay. Great tutorial, couldn’t find better!!
Practice practice practice. No guitarist out there can say they just picked up a guitar and were good lol
You can do itttttt!

My dad used to play this song everyday when he took me ice skating or to school or literally anywhere. It reminds me of him and I have beautiful memories with this song so I’m learning to play it thanks for the tutorial ♥️

By far the best tutorial version I've seen yet. 👍

Nice best lesson i've seen, simple yet effective!
Only video explaining the strumming pattern so good, thanks
Finaly I could play without bars which is impossible for me. thank you❤
Again Thank you! I can make the most amazing music from putting together bits of other influences but I never actually really tried to play theirs completely.I appreciate the up loads so I can play along what was actually created.
Great tutorial, thanks! I find the non-barre chords you give are actually harder to play than regular barre chords ;-)
yeh
The only problem I have is muting the strings.
Yeah.... these "muted string" chords don't sound right at all.. I'm playing an electric. Don't know if that matters.

I have learned so much from this guy! Thanks man
you can also play the three notes of each chord broken and move a semi tone up on the third string with the B and C major chords :)
No barre chords! Woohoooo!
I’m a little confused Becuase I olay it the way the pictures look and they sound wrong
'Move strings down to the floor'
A revelation!
So well explained - thank you!

I'm struggling with the strumming pattern and muting the e and b, any tips? I'm a beginner

Love your lessons. You should put on the PDF for this one where you apply the 4th note ...

As always these are the greatest tutorial videos and I can’t wait for more thank you so much!!
i’m so confused why is it that everytime a picture pops up all the “notes” are the same
They’re on different frets. 3, 7, 8 & 3
I have arthritis in my hands and have been wanting to play this but can't do barre chords without it hurting. This is a lot more comfortable. Thank you.
I love this person 💕👌
Might as well do the barre version
I feel my hands are a bit too small for this 😅 I’m still trying tho
try doing hand stretch 5 times a day
thank you rly
As always, amazing lesson, explains everything perfectly!
I have a problem with muting the strings I don’t wanna play. Fantastic thanks man,,, any chance on covering Nick Cave O'brother ?? 👏👍
hey I really want to know how to play "i think this is the dream where i met you by miya folick" could you please learn how to do that?
When do you use the diffrent chords where you use your pinkey?
Just leaving this for me: 7:50
please can you do eraser by Ed Sheeran thanks love your videos x
Definitely just a matter of time, hang in there :-) it’s added to my list of songs to learn
You use the same rythm throughout the whole, not changing it?
This is hard as hell ! 😫 I can't get it to sound that nice not once for once strum... feel like something isn't being communicated allt ehw ay to make this happen !
What tune is this in ?
Does anyone know how to stop my barre cords from muting?? I feel my position is right, but all the strings mute as soon as I try to do a barre cord
It’s much more difficult then using barre chords to me.
Omgg same
5:05 strumminh
Strange, but with barre chords its much easier for me :)
when do i place my pinkie on the chord?
i feel like barre chords are easier than this version at least for me
Please, can you do Peter Cetera's "Glory of love"?
When you have small hands and you struggle with the pinkie the most:
playthrough 7:51
More Johnny cash please
I can't mute the B and E string, any tips ?
One tip is to only strum the thickest four strings. May take some practice but will let you avoid the B and E muting issue altogether!
Thanks i'll try that
this is standard tuning
I want to learn how to play this but I don’t know the tuning😐🙁
i think its standard
I know g different iam so confused right now
whats the tuning!?
standard
pick up the guitar and play yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
no barre chords ????
Am I the only one who magically learn barre chords
Learned*
barre chords are easier for this songgg
Can I just not read tabs? Nothing I play sounds right
city girls act up
why are all of the notes the same that he shows in the picture at 0:12
Different frets
My tuner said it is G, B, A#, E
I am tuned; 6 E, 5 A, 4 D, 3 G, 2 B, 1E (EADGBE
it is impossible to stretch ur fingers like that
Do it with electric guitar next time
