You say it was a privilege for you to lay these beautiful York stone flags; I would write that it was a privilege for the contractor restoring the building and the future owner of this property to have had your amazing skills and attention to detail, to restore this floor to its former glory. This is clearly job-satisfaction in its finest form for you and your Son. Your channel is addictive and your videos just get better and better - I never want them to end. Your videography and editing, together with your choice of music, adds further to the professionalism of your superb work. I have to agree completely! Every time he mentioned it being a privilege for him to work on this project, I understood, but I also thought it would certainly be considered a privilege to the property owner that such a true craftsman re-laid these stones. Matty, I’m sure I speak not only for myself when I say we appreciate what you’re doing and why.
I follow of a couple of landscapers but without a shadow of a doubt yours is on another level. The choice of background music, the angles that you film from and ofcourse the editing skills just make them a sheer pleasure to watch oh and not to mention the phenomial skills that you and the guys bring to a job, your never going to be short of work producing quality like this 🤟
This is a work of Art and what a legacy to leave behind these will be there for a further 200 Years plus, such craftmanship you should be so proud of what you and your Son have both achieved.

Oh wow! This was so beautiful. You had me in tears 😢 Jacob is so lucky to be learning from the best. Thank you for preserving and being part of history 👏 🏆
I honestly think the privilege is the owners & them slabs having you to lay them 👍. Yr Jacob is a lucky lad being taught by a Master Craftsman & he’s always smiling
Really enjoy and appreciate the work and the high standard that you produce. I understand that these vids are produced to promote the company but would like to see more details included on mortar materials and mixes. the slurry that you prime flag work and the suchlike. Seeing a job done properly is a real joy. Keep doing what you do.
Christopher said exactly what I would have said - but better! I watch from New Zealand, having left the UK 22 years ago, and absolutely admire all the beautiful work that you do. Keep up the excellent presentation with just the right mix of raw video time and time lapse and not too much overly annoying music. Jacob seems to be following in your footsteps. Very well done Jacob!
Wow, watching this was like taking a step back in time, what a joy to watch and I have to say it was quite emotional watching you talk about your passion, it’s clear to see just how much you love your job and to be honest you are a talented craftsman! You and Jake have done an outstanding job on this, absolutely love it Matty ❤️ xxxxx

Wow Matty and jacob absolute phenomenal craftsmanship as always. The joy you bring to these videos you make is inspiring to us all. Watching you using them hand tools sculpting that 250 year old york stone was a true pioneer at the top of his game.
Lovely job mate. About 25 years ago i laid a floor in a huge house in Central London. The owner, a famous film director managed to find some stone from a 900 year old Italian church that was being demolished. The stone was shipped over and were different sizes, thickness's and shapes and the finished job was amazing. Very proud of that jon and hopefully still on show and not been covered over. Cheers mate.
Thanks mate. Wow that’s amazing! What a privilege to work on that job. If it was 25 years ago I doubt you got any pics (before mobiles) Thanks for sharing that 👍
