My 77 L-48 (180 hp) with 4-speed was a dog until I swapped in 350 hp motor. Big increase in fun factor.

73 and 74 big block 4-speeds will still run in the 14's and with a few mods will run with most of the older big blocks. So the absolute dog comment is just not true through 1974. Now starting in 1975 with the catalytic converters yeah they really took a dump.

@@thud9797 Not really impressed with running in the 14’s, especially as this meant high 14’s. I’m also a bit jaded as my lowly 2017 Malibu 4 cylinder runs a 14.2 @ 98 mph. Just a plain Jane car. Std. 250 net hp turbo 2.0 liter, but the 9 speed auto does wonders. It is VERY NEARLY as quick as my old ‘71 Vette with 4:11 gears and the LT-1 engine. My friend had a 70 LT-1, which of course was quicker. The 73 and 74 454, though torquey, would be slower than any of these. Mods are a no fair.

I have one the same color with dark brown inside and I had it sent's I was 16 years old my grandpa got it for me and Its all original with all the paperwork and books that came with the car and my grandpa payed 10.958.28 for it

I have the same color car Corvette tan and I am the original owner and my has very low miles on it and I have all the paperwork and books on the car so yes they are fun it has a 350 engine and hp power is 180 only
