I am seriously ticked with Bilstein. I got 5100's for my 01 Tundra and their instructions explicitly state to NOT use a lower bushing. Then they had a diagram showing no lower bushing. 5 hours in 95 degree heat in my driveway and it clunks if I run over a minor crack in the road. Garbage instructions.
Got quoted ~$780 to replace the ~$160 oem shock pair. Grabbed the 5100 rear set. This video will help, thank you !
is that plus install?
Yeah, but that was still after the $200 multipoint inspect
Dam it all adds up. How's the shock going I know it has to be worth it.@@MrAndroid1337
Thanks brother! I'm going to install on my 07 SR5.
Most come with new bushings.... If not it's a good idea to buy new ones, they're cheap. 😊
I love you for this! Thank you!
thank you. not allot about the rear shocks
This is good for 4Runners as well
mine came with new bushing and hardware
Is this required for 2000 - 2006 Tundras?
Where did you get that full length 2” spacer ?
Bilstein provides crap instructions and fails to provide fresh bushings for my 2005-06 Tundra as well.
Thanks for video.
If you got fresh bushings, where??
@B Random Good question! I'm not checking until I have to.
They would seem easy to find but...
@@gratefuldale117 yep, I've been looking myself and phew no easy task.
@@brandomguess Summit Racing has kits.
But you had the rubber bushings wrong . The Bilstein website has the instructions
😮
