"How beautiful, the radiant bride.." takes me back to my wedding day. I lost my wife to cancer last year but this song has been a real comfort, and never fails to lift my spirits.
I saw Twila in a Christian book store 40+ years ago and I always remember she was the only Christian singer I had met (besides Second Chapter) with a real Spirit of Jesus. I saw her several times and she would start singing and the spirit was so strong the place would be filled with such a sweet spirit.
My experience with her was 36 years ago, also in a Christian book store where I was working to put myself through Bible college in Chattanooga, TN. She was there for our store's pre-opening devotion. She was a sweet lady.
Many years ago in a very dark time in my life, it was Twila Paris & Connie Scott that kept me going. This song came to my mind today so I searched it & was blessed once again. This week in July is always hard as my dad passed away on the 27th, 2 days before my mom’s birthday in 1985 & my mom passed away on the 30th of July, the day after her birthday in 2011. I miss them both so very much. We shall be united again one day. Thank you Twila for the blessing your music has been to me and so many. 🙏
Thank you Lord for calling me as one of your own. Thank you too for your sacrifices and for an incredible, Christian singer, Twila Paris! I feel as though I am worshipping you while I listen to her music. I love you, Lord.
Oh my soul doesBless the Lord- Beautiful are you, my Lord Jesus❤Thank you for filling us with your worship and fresh Oil from your heart. I surely feel the love of God.
I prayed on my toyota to rededicate my life to God....Pastor Scotty Gibbons lead through video subscription...and now in my King's toyota....I am ok. in Him no matter what my position at work and with family. Thank you for all these beautiful recordings....I do feel I am being cleansed.
I too saw Twila in a Christian bookstore about 30 years ago in Minneapolis. She is still my favorite female vocalist. She doesn't entertain, she worships God.
My wife walked down the aisle 6 years ago as this song playing. Was a pefect selection. So memorable.

ditto, I can feel God's spirit when she sings. not only does she sing, but she writes her own praise songs. she is anointed!
I always have loved 2nd Chapter too

Does anybody have a minus one for this medley?
Jesus use my voice like that!
I remember how I used to think Twila was like...a real Christian. Then she went full trumptard and that was the end of that.
You are the one that is a political retard.

Sad.
