My parents used to listen to this song when I was a little girl. Then I pretty much forgot this song. But earlier this year when my husband was doing poorly in the hospital and things were looking bad, God brought this song to my mind. I can’t tell you how much it ministered to me, to proclaim to God, “I will trust you Lord, when I’m blind with pain, you were God before and you remain the same!” Thank you for posting this. God used it to bless me and sustain me during one of the lowest times of my life. And, praise be to God, my husband has recovered! We are so thankful to God for His mercy.

42 years today July 28 1982 ago Keith Green was killed along with 2 of his children and others in a small plane crash. Twila Paris wrote this song for Keith's widow Melody and I think she wrote it for us too.
Wow I remember that and it's always made this song even more special knowing the story thanks for acknowledging the anniversary of a bitter sweet moment for the church family
Twila sings with such heartfelt honesty. She's a true worship leader, and brings people into the presence of God. I like how she doesn't accept any praise for herself as she ends her songs.

Precious transparency before the Lord! This song came to my spirit today as I was examining myself! I learned it way back when it first came out, then bought the album and then saw her in concert at the very first Jesus Go Fest in Lindale, TX, I forget the exact year, but I want to say '84 or '85. Without faith it's impossible to please Him and trusting Him through all the situations and all of our feelings is what we have to settle in our hearts!!
