- The Five Nights at Freddy's fandom is one of the weirdest fandoms we've talked about, for numerous reasons. One of those reasons being that the "shipping community is really, really weird. There are multiple ships involving children and sometimes incest (like the Circus Baby peppermint video), so this video is bound to get pretty wild. I’m gonna be honest, I used to ship Bonnie x Chica 🥲. But that truly isn’t one of the worst ships when we have things like Michael x Circus Baby. They are siblings and even if they weren’t or if Baby wasn’t possessed, they’re still shipping a human and a robot. There’s nothing you can do to justify this ship. Anyways, great video!

Also, fnaf 4 is from the perspective of Michael as if you look in the fnaf security log book you would see Michael describing his dreams as THE NIGHTMARES. So my theory is that William gassed Michael before he worked at fnaf 1 and he would have trauma of him in his brothers room with nightmare creatures representing his regrets. and also, nightmare is a broken illusion disk.
I believe it was the crying child that had the nightmares but we have something in common William f’d with both of them on either theory’s

Back in 2015 I saw bonnie x toy bonnie fan art while love me like you do was playing. There was an image of toy bonnie being close between his legs while he was making a weird face expression & there was a star as censor.
Back then I didn't know why the censor. Now that it's been almost 10 years I know what it was & didn't realise how dirty it was & don't plan on finding it.
I found that one google images once which linked to a taken down YT video. I know the image and the artist you're talking about (At least I believe but either way I don't know their name.) They stopped posting years ago

The Bonnie x Foxy ship actually has some backup (for clarity i don't ship anymore). In ultimate custom night, Bonnie is in pirates cove, where Foxy is normally. I normally just make the joke of two gay platonic friends comforting each other after some brutal rejections to prom in a closet together and end up going together cause they the homies.

I typically don't like shipping, but if the characters are adults, have a consensual relationship, and aren't related family wise, I'm more fine with it, though it's still weird and you probably shouldn't do it.

@Skellie_Jellie no but my "fix" to the issue would be to only ship the in universe characters, but I never actually thought about the ages of said characters.
@@TheRealSuperKirby Most likely the characters would be around 11 and under. While people like Springtrap/William would be 40 to 50 years old at the least.
Honestly in the area I'm usually in with shipping these characters (YT animation, MCRP a little, fanfiction mostly) it's usually forget the lore, no dead children, not possessed, just normal robots or normal anthropomorphic animals or humans with their own or fanon personalities and strangely a good portion of the time in high school or university. When it comes to actual children though I haven't seen much outside of friendship and doesn't go past hugs and kiss on the cheek from what I've seen. Gonna be completely honest don't see a lot of sibling ships, guess most just gladly think that's a bad idea.
Some are weird but also some are strangely cute when done right. Just gotta find the right balance and honestly sometimes it somehow works.
I like this. I don't personally take issue with shipping the characters, it's just that it does become problematic if ships like Michael x Baby or Springtrap x Golden Freddy - er, Michael x Elizabeth (incest); William x Cassidy (pedophilia) - end up happening (the real problem being clearly with the human characters behind the animatronics involved, NOT the characters themselves). If all grounds of a ship could not realistically happen, I don't believe the ship itself can technically be problematic unless some part of it parallels a real-life problem (eg incest or pedophilia).
I have an AU where I ship certain characters - except the lore of my AU is EXTREMELY different and the animatronic characters have "functional ages" so that I don't involve child characters.
While the characters are still TECHNICALLY possessed by the souls of those murdered as children, those children have effectively ceased to exist beyond "supplying Remnant"(?) (in other words there's just miscellaneous life force there, no soul) and instead the characters are treated based on the chosen "age of depiction" for each character.
The "child" characters I have are:

Child characters vary in "depicted age" from about 5 to 12, young adults are around 18 to 21, adults are 21 to 35, and elders are about 35 and up.

Technically mangle actually is gender fluid according to a tweet asking what mangle’s gender is which Scott replied with “Yes”.
Nobody asked. It's clearly stated in the game as male. You have to be severely chronically online to miss that. I refuse to call Him anything else. I’m gonna be completely honest. I used to be amongst those who used to ship Foxy x Mangle or Bonnie x Chica, and I absolutely used to LOVE those ships. However, growing up I realised that the animatronics are just children’s souls stuck inside metallic bodies. In addition, I also used to be a HUGE fan of Puppet x Ballora because I used to think that, ‘oh! maybe puppet’s an adult because of how much time has passed in the FNAF timeline!’ little did I know that spirits do NOT age (and I used to think that Puppet’s a guy 😭)
This is why I barely have any ships in my FNAF AU (idk if canon x OC counts) So uh- that was an interesting time🥲

I think the only Animatronics that you can ship with each other are the glamrocks since they are not possessed, but in their case it's just preference.
Like, many like Glamrock Freddy and Glamrock Bonnie because there are moments in the game and in the dlc that indicate that they were very close, but whether it is platonic or romantic is left up in the air.
So it really depends on the person, and it's ok if you don't like ships, some are cursed, others are weird and others are just silly.
But of course there are the wrong, inappropriate and degenerate ones! With shipping it is important to consider what could be considered incorrect.
