One thing you forgot or missed about the Candy's remaster:
Beating Shadow Candy unlocks CAM 13 during regular gameplay, allowing you to see the Rat's place of residence. What the game does not tell you is that this enables the Rat on *every* night of the game, and CAM 13 also persists if you hit New Game, essentially allowing for a pseudo NG+ mode.

This video finally answered a mystery that's been plaguing me for years.
For the longest time I thought that Five Nights at Freddy's was about some kid losing a bet and being forced to hang out in an abandoned pizzeria for five nights. I thought this because I overheard some friends of mine discussing it. They had all actually played FnaF, though, and the newspaper clipping and the phone conversations make it pretty clear you're a night guard so I always thought it was weird they'd said this. Now I know that they must have been talking about FnaC 2.
It’s also possible that may have been talking about “Five Nights at Toy Freddy’s 2, which was this fan game back in 2015.
Did you not read the newspaper at the literal start of the game? They're looking for a security guard for the night shift.
@@JameyMcQueen I have never played FNaF in my life. Everything I know about it comes from other people.
@@JameyMcQueenthere’s three fnac games. that’s from the first one. the second one is the dare one. can you not read or are you just stupid? there’s no need to be rude especially if you’re ignorantly in the wrong
@@BackSet You should. If you have a computer that can boot, it can run like every FNAF game, and they are really cheap on steam. It's recently came back to the games after not playing it for years and it's legitimately fun playing through them
I have never been afraid of any animatronic or found any design scary. Not one, across the ENTIRE umbrella of 'FNaF content,' has caused me to lose sleep at night. There have been designs I've thought were cool, or designs I thought were objectively scary, but none that I was personally afraid of.
None, except for the Rat. For whatever reason, the design of the Rat absolutely terrifies me. I first saw it in FNaC 1 when I was 13ish, and immediately had nightmares from it. I can remember laying in my bed staring at the open closet with my damn imagination trying its best to ensure I don't sleep.
Now I'm 19, and I STILL get scared of its design, ESCPECIALLY Monster Rat. To this day, I haven't so much as watched gameplay of FNaC 3 because of how petrifyingly afraid it makes me.
Yeah, i'm a total sucker for good character design as a graphic artist, and I agree- Nightmare Rat definitely stands out to me for a few reasons. Him and Nightmare/Monster Cat obviously stand apart from the rest with their more gritty models, but something about Rat makes him infinitely superior to Cat, even if they look alike.
I think the nightmare models in general just look more uncanny- probably due to their much taller and lanky stature. Rat's model in particular has a skinny, very lengthy tail that smoothly trails behind him whenever he runs, which i think just amplifies his whole design. Rat's face is also just generally more eerie. Cat's face model is simple, and just looks like a cat, maybe with the ears just higher up. Rat's face, however, looks like one of those old drawings of cartoon rats with comically large ears, but his face is noticeably longer than Cat's, which is again exaggerated by his gaping mouth. His eyes, which because of his long face also seem very close together. His eyes being close together is very important.
His eyes to me are the most interesting part of his character design, because we're actually hardwired to fear it. Cat's eyes are just like a cat- front facing, because they are predators.
Rat's eyes, however, are also front facing. Rats do not have front facing eyes, and usually need to turn to the side to see, similar to horses (herbivores) and birds (scavengers), who are much more passive creatures and not predators. Rats are not predators, they are prey.
It makes his design seem unnatural, because we know there's something wrong with it, and that detail is just enough to make it tap in to our very primal brain that is telling us "that thing is not a rat". Front facing predators are hunters, who actively look for things to kill, and so we intentionally or not associate that with Rat. His teeth are still rat teeth, which clashes with the "this is a predator" signals our brain is sending to us and adds to the uncanny valley.
He's also just more of a threat than Cat in game.
Anyways, sorry if that was long, I love good character design in horror.
Literally same here! I had nightmares of monster rat
That is fascinating. Is it a rat thing or just that by the time ''scarier'' designs existed you didn't get scared like you did when you were young? Rat is pretty spooky
@@mister_matt I have no fear of rats IRL. It's 100% the design.
It 100% calls into the uncanny valley, with a design that feels not quite alive but not quite dead. It looks like it would feel like flesh which is horrifying
Fnac 1 was a pretty good fnaf clone and was very unique with its designs and characters.

Its my favorite fan game series. Its simple and gives more gameplay from the original fnaf. Its more for players who want more of a casual gaming session rather than tryhard a very hard section, or for people who want more of say Fnaf 1 or 4. I like the lore even though I never was in the fnaf lore itself, I respect Emil for expanding the Fnaf lore to his own side rather than make something completely new because you can actually use the bite of 87 as a time stamp for making a timeline.
Here's how i would fix some of the problems in FNAC 1.
1. Have night vision drain power very quickly
2. No glowing eyes. Instead, each animatronic would have specific, faint audio so you could hear which room they went to instead of just looking for eyes wihout night vision. Old Candy and especially RAT would have much more subtle audio
3. Have some kind of flashlight to shine down either hallway. However, Old Candy and RAT would hide from the light, so you would have to listen for audio or check the cameras.
4. To make cameras useful other than camera 11, camera 4, and camera 6, have Blank move to camera 2, 3, or 7 before he starts attacking. If he goes to camera 7, you have to close the left door. If he goes to camera 2, you have to close the ticket booth. If he goes to camera 3, you have to close the right door.
I think the first Candy's got so popular because it was not only one of the first really well made fangames but the animatronics had good designs
I love how now I can see how everyone skips the ad and the most viewed part is when it ends lmao
I feel like for the third game, hiding from Cat under the covers might have been a good way to change things. The dread of Ret getting in without you being able to see if you hide for too long would probably be pretty impactful, maybe even paired with a nice jump scare of him pulling back the covers to scream in your face if you do sit there for too long.

Honestly I oddly found comfort in five nights at candy's 3, due to it centering around trauma and repressed memories caused by that trauma which was probably because I was going through some trauma myself at the time I watched it be played, oddly though I never found the cat and rat's mechanic boring in it. I completely am fine with saying the gameplay has flaws, heck something not mentioned was Lollipop's minigames which are Honestly incredibly hard to the point its frustrating. @@xm214-aminigun9 bro I'm just giving my damn thoughts like other people in the comment section. This is really unnecessary to tell me
@PannacottaFugo90 thats....not what I'm saying. I relate to some shit that I hate I relate to characters from stuff i find really bad. I'm saying I personally found the game good and a factor in that was because i found comfort(not relatability) in it as it helpped me a bit through my own trauma that was very obviously different from Mary's trauma. The game holds value to me because it holds a place in my heart for that fact, thats something thats normal.
Omori is a game where people have a very similar outlook to it, its also a game about trauma and im planning to check it out because some have said its helpped them as well along with it being a good game. (Edit: i played Omori, its a absolutely wonderful and beautiful game that perfectly represents its themes I'm currently even now finding stuff I missed in it.)
Relatability though can be a factor in games, ESPECIALLY in games about traumas, Depression, Personal Demons, and Anxiety.
No ones saying its good just because they relate to it and especially not me. I found it fun, I really loved the story and I loved Vinny and Lolipop, I loved the extra area with the toys to encounter Lolipop, I loved the secret ending with origami cat, I loved the little touches to the game.

Ripppp nobody here talking about FNAC 3's minigames. I've always loved the FNAF series' pixilated minigames more than the main gameplay segments due to the incredible potential for storytelling/visual symbolism in them, and I was always a sucker for the end-of-night minigames in FNAC 3 (+ the ones you can find in the extras) due to their heavy NES vibe. They even had a somewhat convincing CRT filter as opposed to the common "vertical black lines" other fan games tend to go for. Imo they felt way more authentic to the time period they were aiming to capture than whatever the hell Scott's MSPaint "Atari" graphics were going for in the first few games haha (though said graphics gave us the legendary FNAF 2 William Sprite)
i hate that when I read that last sentence i immediately shouted "the leannnnnnn"
sometimes i almost forget how strange the pixel sprites in scott's earlier games were
why _did_ william have phones for hands?
could have been scott trying to replicate the atari's charmingly inaccurate sprites for things
@@mikhailgorbachevsovietunion I always imagined that the top phone part was his arm curving in a loop for some reason
Yeah, i really liked the style for the minigames in FNAC ngl.
Blank’s jumpscare looks like one of those bowling animations
I imagine that the reason that Fnac 3 kinda dies when you just stare into a certain corner is because the game possibly relies on you "updating" the room by swiping the camera around, abit like how in other Fnaf games/fan games looking at the camera too much/little affects the behavior of the animatronics - by basically never updating the room by looking around like the mechanics would normally require, nothing happens
That fails when Cat is on though.
Another thing they could have done to make Caticus more unique is have them mess with the tape (maybe have them swap out the tape and instead start playing creepy stressful music, which could also cause Raticus to become more aggressive while it’s playing).
This could add more to the gameplay loop by needing you to fix the music, giving Raticus time to attack you. It also gives the tape more of a use than just story reasons.
Honestly would of loved if the cat could pause the music, like occasionally you had to check the tape to make sure it's hand wasn't reaching for it..if you got there in time the light would make it leave but if not it'd pause the tape then leave. Kinda like in the trailers, it really would of been cool to see in game
@@testerwulf3357 if im not mistaken, i think when monster rat is under te bed he can mess with your tape player.
I don’t know who does it, but I have seen one of them steal the tape player.
well... except for the fact that the cat DOES mess with the tape. If you'd bother to check the wiki or watch any video about this other than this one you'd know the cat will progress to sitting ON the bed, at which point if he isn't checked, he'll literally steal the music player.
"If not checked at this state, Monster Cat will take the music tape and jumpscare the player after a while or when they look under the bed to check on Monster Rat and ending the night." -FNAC 3, Monster Cat wiki page.
monster rat do mess up with your tape if he went under your bed. It will be super distorted and loud that you probably can't even hear him getting out of the bed, even with a good headset, which cost me a couple of games.
I actually came up with an interesting concept for a Blank skin for FNAC 2 watching this a few weeks ago:
Since the animatronics have been stored in a (now abandoned) warehouse, it would make sense that rebellious teens would leave their mark not only on the walls, but on Blank as well.
A character that was once a canvas for innocent youths to express themselves and play with crayons and markers, now nothing more than a withered, rotten shell, graffitied and tagged by the most recent visitors to the warehouse.
Best part? With that description above, it could lean into the classic theme of murderous animatronics. Did Blank murder the previous explorers? Or is that description meant to be taken innocently at face value?
Blank should have the blood of his enemies splattered all over him, covering up all of the original drawings from the original restaurant itself
@@randomtexanguy9563 It would cover the countless amount of dicks that were no doubt drawn on him.
The "Cylinder effect" in the first game is called "Perspective", it's used (especially in the older FNaF games) to fake the 3D effect since the game engine is a 2D engine (So FNaF 1-6 and UCN) are 2D. Personally I really like the effect because it just looks cool in the game.
I honestly don’t like it because that same effect gives me headaches.
Correct me if i'm wrong but i think FNAF 4 doesn't use that effect, or maybe i just don't notice it because it's really dark.
@@benja-tp1sp nope, fnaf 4 doesn't use this effect.
It looks more 'natural'
My favorite 2D Sidescroller. Probably next to driving
Yeah, the only issue with it is that for some reason he couldn't have been bothered to make it work correctly with the panorama render. Thankfully it was corrected in the remaster but seriously it always bugged me. And he didn't use that for FNaC 3 even though it would've looked great and the panorama looks so off without a filter on it.
Maybe something they could have done for monster cat was 1:like you said, he could appear behind you or under the bed and 2: his gimmick could be that you DONT shine the light on him. Like for example: you turn around to rewind the tape but monster cat is there. So you have to sit and wait until he goes somewhere else to play the tape. Or if the rat and the cat are on the same side, that could lead to something more interesting happening maybe
So, kinda like grunkfuss in onaf3
…wait, no, that game didn’t exist back then
Yea basically
In the fnac wiki, I saw that either monster rat or cat could get their hands on the tape player and pause it
@@thehvanddino-weaponshow1337 that’s actually pretty cool I did not know that :D
Hell, maybe the light causes Monster Cat to attack the player. So when he and Monster Rat are in the room at the same time, it’s more challenging because you need to scare off Rat while making sure not to accidentally hit Cat with the light and send him into a frenzy.
that “oh sorry I have a latte here” was so cute and charming
"The glowing eyes make the game incredibly easy"
Duh, why do you think i'm playing FNaC?
At least yer honest
And it also makes it very fun.
And I also thought I’d say, the jumpscare of Candy made my parents nearly shit themself playing it somehow.
As a huge fnac fan, I find characters the best thing these games have and for me, a person who is not really interested in actual gameplay and firstly looks at the story and characters, this is what makes it my favourite fangame. I do agree with all critique you told in this video and I don't even think that fnac plot is as genius as some people say (It's just not bad and people mostly like it for being laconic, but it still has very annoying plot holes). However, the character designs are the thing that made me literally obsessed with this series for my whole fucking teen age. And in the first place I would blame Blank. His unique weird design got me hooked right in the first trailer and he's still my favourite character
I really think the jumpscares in the original Candy's are the most underrated aspect of anything ever. The photo-negative effect the final frames get I think is absolutely phenomenal, and the actual animations themselves I think are still great. Especially for its time.
I remember I beat FNAC 1&2 in a summer vacation like 4 years ago. I would usually go outside for 3 hours in the morning, after that go into my room, open my old crappy laptop and play FNAC. Sadly, I wasn't able to beat FNAC 3, but still, that summer was the beginning of my passion for playing computer games. Nowadays, FNAC holds a special place in my heart for being one of my first PC games ever played.

Something I'm suprised Uhyeah didn't bring up when talking about the cassette tape in FNAC 3 is the fact that sometimes Nightmare Rat will mess with the tape when he goes under the bed, and it will make a weird garbled sound. This makes it so it's really difficult to hear the sound cue for when Rat comes out from under the bed. Maybe it didn't happen to him and he didn't know about it?
I think people take overrated as a completely negative term, when it just means “not as good as people say” or “people give it a bit too much praise for what it is” like it sounds bad but it’s just a term to say “it’s GOOD just not GREAT”
You can blame the 2010s TH-cam culture for that.
the “it’s GOOD just not GREAT” isn't really always the thing, it can be bad and people think it's good or stuff like that, not normally used to describe good stuff because of the same reason that it's used by people as a mostly negative term
It's used negatively a lot though, plus it kinda implies that because you don't enjoy something as much as other people, said other people's opinions are too positive
For FNAC 1, I think it would have made more sense, for the Animatronics to make some sort of sound effect when they reach the door, rather then have lazer eyes that peer through the darkness. Maybe the older animatronics had some sort of other gymic to make them more interesting.
except they did, especially Penguin that had a drilling sound effect but Emil thought it made the game yoo easy
If they made sound instead of glowing eyes, that would be more creepy honestly because they are in the dark and you can't see them. I really like that idea.

Still adore Candy so much, he's really adorable to me and I love cats so I was immediately hooked when stumbling across Candy's. I think the first game's design of him really nailed that classic kid friendly mascot vibe while also being super original looking.
But Blank really takes the cake. An animatronic you can draw on and sketch, I wish there were concepts of Blank's interactions with children. Like does he kneel down or sit before the kids, does he laugh like it tickles when he gets colored? Does he show his drawings off like a proud father puts artwork on a fridge? I just think the whole concept of him is so good.
I do enjoy how Candy's 2 had the running away animation is painfully low frame rate wise, it adds to the realism IMO
The scariest design goes to old candy, rat, cat and shadow candy for me

I think something that could make the cassete better is if an enemy had something to do with it
A concept for this would essentially be:
the cassete begins to sound strange, you have to stop the cassete and completely rewind it,
also another thing, the cassete should actually take a long time to rewind
DEPENDING on how long it's been playing, so if you played it for the full length, you then have to rewind it for the full length
Another thing that would be cool is adding sanity and having it go down as the music isn't playing
When sanity reaches 0, maybe enemy encounters are increased? Plus a chance for Vinny to spawn
It gives the player and actual reason to use and rewind the cassete
maybe you could also have to change the song in the casette

With the telephone mechanic in the second one, I was thinking maybe three different ways to limit the amount of uses and make it more difficult:
1. Cooldown time, you have to wait for a certain period of time to use them again
2. They can only be used once each night or throughout the entire duration of the game so you can use them sparingly.
3. Knowing the penguin's mechanic of crashing the camera system, maybe they could mess with the telephones by destroying certain ones or malfuncfioning them. Or for each night you can use them however many times you want and the ones you use will be out of order the following night and remain broken for the rest of the game.
There's so much wasted potiential in that second game and is definitely the worst of the bunch of Candy games.
but if you use the phone once per night what if chester spwans in the phone you already used
I'd say, if a phone is ringing and Penguin crashed the phone, that phone as well as two other phones will be deactivated. And you also cannot ring a phone until the current one finishes ringing (i.e. an animatronic disables it)

4:50 Old Candy and Rat also make noticeable hums in the direction of the doors they're in, you dont even have to check the cameras for them
I honestly don't see how the FNAC series is overrated. In fact, I wouldn't even say it's overrated, but rather above average at least for me.
Now if we're talking about overrated FNAF fan games, for me it has to be The Joy of Creation: Story Mode. Now I want to make it clear that the game is absolutely fantastic. Each room's mechanics are engaging and unique and there's always a sense of danger. This makes it ONE of the best FNAF fan games for me.
My feelings towards this game are similar to what I think is the most overrated Mario Kart track, DS Waluigi Pinball, where I enjoy the track at first but then the hype and praise the track receives just makes me see the track in a different light and thus leads me to say that it's overrated. In other words, I see TJOC: Story Mode as the "Waluigi Pinball" of FNAF fan games.
As for the most underrated FNAF fan games, in my opinion, that would have to be A Shadow Over Freddy's. That game feels like FNAF 4, but you have a sense of movement around the FNAF 1 location, where A Shadow Over Freddy's takes place, but it's much darker both in terms of gameplay and storytelling.
TJOC has good graphics and is clothed with a elaborate gameplay but the lack of story and new characters don't sell it to me
@@atanaZion The story is something to be desired I will agree with you on that. I do like the idea of it being based around Scott in an AU, but it definitely could've been done a little better. At least with the FNAC series it's essentially set in the same universe as FNAF or it's referenced at the very least as a competitor of sorts, while also having their own problems that they have to deal with.
TJOC: story mode isn’t even talked about much anymore, pretty much just sometimes while it was in development, and was popular during release for like a month at most, so is it really “overrated?”
@@Mojojojo9001 I still hear people talk about it like crazy.

I have to strongly disagree about candies two being bad, but I will give one nitpick the withered or broken models seem lazy no actual little holes just huge chunks of costume missing he was able to do withering on blank and rat in the first game so why couldn't you do it here why is there just huge pieces of costume missing instead of actual rips and tears at least with candy there's a hole in his chest where he got shot with a shotgun that's a nice detail but the rest of it just seems lazy
"just huge chunks of costume missing" yeah, and withered bonnie's missing his entire face! And an arm!
@@THGMR-ox7sd lol
@@THGMR-ox7sd yeah atleast he is more withered like actually being dirty and more withered aspects
@@THGMR-ox7sd Though the W.Bonnie's missing parts do look withered whereas in FNAC 2 it's as if the pieces were carefully removed. As if they are mid to end of repair.
hard disagree about the withered designs. unlike the FNAF 2 withered animatronics, which appear to be made out of so sort of cloth or fabric, the FNAC 2 characters are very clearly made from some sort of plastic and their designs reflect that. plastic obviously breaks and bends differently than fabric might tear and rip so the candy's withered designs can't approached the same way as freddy's 2. you see open spaces where pieces of the animatronic were noticeably removed (candy's cheek and penguins mouth, for example), and the wear and tear feels much more deliberately modeled than the seemingly random tears found in FNAF 2's withered animatronics (not to say its necessarily bad, just not as interesting)
fnac 3 in real life:
_hides under the blanket_
rat and cat: GODDAMMIT
I think the Five Nights at Wario's franchise is my favorite because it has very unique gameplays unlike most of the other fan games.
The first two games are based off of the first two FNAF games... BUT, in the third game, you have to choose a different room to hide in every night, and each room has its own mechanics.
In the origins game, you actually get to walk around the building, and trying to dodge the demons that way. Pretty fun.
In the fourth game, you are watching a haunted TV where the demons appear, and you have to get rid of them by changing the channel, turning the brightness off, turning the radio on, etc. That's probably the most unique mechanic in a FNAF fan game I've ever seen.
I have to agree with this, WWWWario really made the games unique in gameplay part.
Bro the game is just jpegs
@@Sonic20094 Even through the locations are images, wwwWario used models for characters. And it is perfectly edited and feels real, not to say that with the recent updates, the game got a new lore update and new improvements. It is far more than just a usual fnaf fan game with images.
I honestly really like the lore. It's well done in a mediocre way, you know? If even mediocre. I just like it.
@@nightdog4183 the models are from super smash brothers wii
I would just like to point out that, as someone who grew up with undiagnosed ADHD, I always appreciate it when people make it clear that just because two people disagree, it doesn't mean one of them automatically has bad taste. It's an absolute nightmare to have severe rejection sensitivity when you're surrounded by people who insult you for liking something that they dislike.
Also hey! Shout out to Sonic Lost World! That makes me happy.
So that’s what being upset over people insulting you for liking something is called- (I’m diagnosed with autism but not ADHD, but maybe I have that two and just don’t know it)
What does ADHD have to do with any of that 😐 that just sounds like you're playing "pick me" and getting autism and ADHD confused
@@OpossumPartyy just say "idk what any ADHD symptoms are" it makes you look less stupid than this

Blanks jump-scare looks like he is trying to tell you something
25:20 thats why the 3rd game is probably my least favorite. Sure everything is cool but the gameplay is very very bad. As said in the video you gotta look back and forth until you get attacked BUT you only get attacked if you shine the flashlight at a monster. If you dont shine your light at them the attack will never begin, meaning you can beat the nights by just afking. Works with rat vinny, shadow rat and im unsure if you can just shine the light at the bottom of the screen to scare cat but it might be possible, making the games only actual danger be cat
Great vid, Candy's never gets content like this. I have one nitpick (or at least disagreement). I do not at all agree with your comment on the lack of impact from Blank's jumpscare (10:25), you seem to have missed the point or expected something more like Foxy's that goes by within a second or two.
The point of the gap between the glass smashing and the jumpscare is to make you panic. The pacing here is interesting if you break it into three parts: the glass smashing is slow, clunky, unexpected. The sudden flashing makes you panic, frantically searching if you have any way out of this situation. And finally, as everything goes dark, Blank slowly approaches, as mechanical, worn and ominous as always.
Your unfair judgement seems to focus too much on the speedy impact, which may fit a character like Foxy, but doesn't fit Blank. As is, it's one of the most memorable situations in a game that, as you said, has a ton of piss-easy and samey nights.
Exactly this. Just look at people playing the game getting attacked by blank for the first time, they had no idea what was happening and you could see them pissing themselves trying to find a way to keep blank out only to figure out he was already inside before they died.
Longer deaths can be very impactful and scary. Short ones it's like "AHH- ..so like anyways" but long drawn out ones have you panic and question what you did wrong, you feel the incoming dread as you know it's over.
15:16 Fnac 2 and 3 will actually be remastered for console/mobile. And fnac 2 will change all the cameras to include color in them. Search "Fnac 2 resaturated" and you can see it.
I really liked FNAC 3 mostly because of the story. Sure, it wasn't on the same level as the storytelling of FNAF 4, but I actually enjoyed the atmosphere and the concept. The ending was really interesting.
I love the idea of making it so that in FNaC3, the Cat can join Rat in the attacks so you have to fend off both at the same time and balance using the light between the both of them
Just because of markiplier, I will always see the penguin as pengu, old candy as momo, and Chester as jojo.😂
I see where this is coming from but in my opinion FNAC 3 is one of the best FNAF games even with its flaws.
Although I don't hate FNAC 2 I do think it's the weakest out of all the FNAC games and I kinda agree about the whole animatronics should have their eyes lit up in FNAC 1 so you actually have a reason to check the cameras but then what would old Candy do because he is that mechanic but as 1 character instead of everyone doing it? I don't want him to be like every other character that sounds boring.
I love the shadow Candy night in the remaster though. The atmosphere that plays is so good in my opinion and fits the night so well.
I agree that FNAC is overrated but I will say it is a pretty solid series. The first game was a good clone of FNAF 1, the second game was an ok clone of FNAF 3 but my least favorite, the third game was something completely different and unique, and FNAC 1 Remastered was a very polished update to the original. I don't think they are the absolute best fan games out there but they are pretty solid and full of nostalgia.
I have an idea for the cat gimmick in 3. Hear me out, the tape rewinding gimmick is cool, but what if the cat reaches up from behind the bed to try to grab it? All you have to do is shine the light at it to make it go away, but if it fully grabs it then it will stop the time and you have to do the night for infinity. Or alternate version, if the cat grabs the tape, then it will slow the night down by 0.5x speed. Idk feels kinda boring, just a thought though!
"This game is overated!!"

Thank you, I've been saying for ages that I really don't care for FNaC or Popgoes for ages because they're just not that interesting. FNaC was what kickstarted the fangames I'm pretty sure, but there wasn't much new brought to the table. I will admit I do like the weird rat animatronic just because it looks cool but as games they're just okay.

Blank did that light skin rizz💀💀💀
Lmao

The only candy's game I like is the remastered version and thats just because the graphics and models look so good. I'm not that interested in the candy's lore or characters etc, I think a lot more unique games deserve the spotlight, I hope fnac 4 does better, it looks very promising from whats been shown
Emile is quite talented, isn't he helping Kane with the new Popgoes Evergreen? I really hope Fnac 4 is good
How can you say FNaC series ig is very stabdard and praise FNaC 4 as being unique??
The FNAC lore is really cool & you're missing out
I swear I remember it being a feature where in the first game, when one of the eyeless guys show up at a door, there will be a faint sound cue to clue you in. It was sort of a humming noise.
I know it's probably obvious, but WHAT is the song playing in the background during the FNAC 2 overview at 14:37. I have literally wracked my brain trying to remember where it's from because I know i've heard it before. I just can't seem to pin it down. Help please? Also the video itself is great. Very fascinating part of the FNAF fangame subgenre.
I’m pretty late but it’s Egg Reverie from Sonic Mania
i’ve lowkey always felt this way about these games. FNAC 1 was cool but basically just FNAF 1 but easier, FNAC 2 was kinda interesting in concept if not a bit boring/tedious, FNAC 3 honestly never interested me and FNAC 1 remastered is, well, a remaster
I really appreciate the fact that you took the tie to properly criticise this game. I absolutely agree with you that the character designs in this game are fantastic, and I think that is definitely the reason for the game's popularity. It's just amazing.
dude talking about the most overrated fnaf fan game when he gets sponsered by the most overrated game ever

Nah the most overrated game is Raid
THANK YOU, finally someone knows the difference between bad and overrated
The reason many people struggle with the difference, people use it to justify hating a game and hating the fans of something. It's lost it's actual meaning.

A few days ago I completed fnac 1 remaster(not night 7) without losing once.
Wow... I remember it being much harder when i played it in 2017...
I honestly could care less about the third one.
The second one... Oh boy. Not only is it boring, it's rather quite hard. The glitch which lets you complete the night once jumpscared is a Godsend. The issue being For the difficulty is the "regular candies" can't be in the same room. By what that I mean, is one camera, one candy.
the scariest jumpscare in this video was the genshin sponsor, i was FAR TOO SURPRISED

I love how Blank's jumpscare is just him walking in

I mean come on he was basically calling chapter 2 horrible with any redeeming qualities I kind of feel like as he wants the game to die and everything with it die off which is just ridiculous
But uhyeah is actually a fnaf with actual fun wacky content that I love

I think the FNAC franchise deserved to be part of the initiative. Sure things have been quiet for the developer who made it, but I think FNAC deserves a chance, and I can't wait for more information about the other Fan games too. 😱😀👍
it is tho?
It is a part of the initiative. FNaC 4 is in development.
FNaC really piqued my interest because, as far as I can recall, it was the first time an animatronic was actually shown exhibiting their raw power on camera.
Sure, you can assume that when the screen goes dark that there’s some pretty intense stuff going on. Shoving an adult into an animatronic suit has got to require a lot of force, but you don’t ever _see_ it.
When I first saw Blank punch through the window, it was legitimately scary. While the jump-scares themselves aren’t the most intense, seeing Blank punch through the window like that really puts into perspective that these characters are designed as massive, heavy machines that cannot feel pain and could probably crush your skull with the practiced ease of a hydraulic press if given the chance.
It’s like… “Oh, okay, even fighting back against this thing would probably hurt me more than just letting it tear me to pieces. Got it.” and that’s some special sort of fucked up.
I’m not sure if you know this, but in FNaC 3, there will be points where Monster Cat will try to pause the cassette player, and slow the night. In my opinion, this is a clever mechanic as it allows for the cassette player to stop suddenly, and forces you to return to check on it sooner than you’re use to, but I think we can agree that it would be better if a mechanic was added where you don’t respond to the cassette player suddenly pausing in time, Monster Cat will kill you.
Your intro is the huniepop success date sound. I can respect that.
Lol
Wait, is the ticket door in FNAC 1 behind the glass or in front of?
