Software aside but your artwork is so simple that you can make a person who is bad in art think "Aha, even I can do this, let me start doing this from today then". Your artwork gives confidence to people. Keep up the good work, more people will start working in art and animation due to your videos. Tahoma, here I come...
I know I'm all talk now, but in the next 5 years i want to do like an interview/ podcast episode with you to ask you about making your own animated series, boss mentality, indurance, income streams, and more. I want to make my own animated series and a lot of others do but no one really talks about what it takes to be a showrunner and the skills, mindset, and habits one would need to get to that point.

I really want to see if he decides to add further color to this! This channel is definitely giving me the confidence I greatly needed to even consider working on animating! I didn't know where to even start but watching these videos make me feel like I can do it too!

I gave Tahoma a chance after seeing your video, and I'm really digging it so far. I feel like a lot of my peers would get a lot out of it - so I want to learn as much as I can so I can make my own tutorial that caters specifically to them.
One of my favourite things about Tahoma is if there's something you don't understand, but the manual doesn't cover, is that you can just look up how to achieve what you want in opentoonz. great stuff

anywho, nice background! i'm quite a fan of wobbly/bumpy lineart, too, since it really helps a background look organic. excellent use of VFX, as well 👍

I've been using Tahoma for a month now.
It sure is smoother than Opentoonz.
But there are some obvious glitches that occur time to time and you have to restart tahoma.
One of the glitches is, Undo stops working or it only works on Xsheet Dock (not on actual canvas).
And it crashes while auto saving but its very rare.
Also Brushes are so cool in opentoonz and tahoma
i dont know why people don't use it for background.

Found your channel while looking for info about Tahoma2D. Looking forward to seeing you go in more details about storyboard features using Tahoma2D. Also liked your review of the XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro and 24 Pro. I have been using the older Artist 16, but really dislike the battery-powered pen, and the 3 cables setup. Thinking of buying the 12 Pro instead. Thanks for all your info.

How do you go about making an animated background and I am talking like the really dynamic scenes where camera swivels and rotates in 3d? Like with modern Rick and Morty seasons.

I was using opentoonz until a week ago. Watched your video about tahoma. Switched to this and now only use this.
You said you’re working on two monitors? Have you had any trouble with the pen location in OpenToonz and Tahoma because of the two monitors? I work on a Surface Book 2 for drawing and when I have it hooked up to my second monitor for reference, my pen and cursor location get super out of sync. No problem with the monitor’s unplugged tho. Great vids by the way!
So dose that program can let you have a separate layer for the colors from the lineart? , if so I would prefer this app than opentoonz since to me I do really like the lineart of an animation being mixed with color

I am using Davinci Resolve to edit all of my videos. Its free and capable of almost anything.

Hey can I help you work on castle dark once you start working on #2 of the series plz I use iPad Air 2 and a stylus using flipaclip and other apps to animate

Question: When i try save in tahoma it doesn't save it only pop ups an error message what should i do?
watch my video tutorials,the way that i manage my projects,i can even import whole projects to pc and externall hdd and import it back,i bypassed error,while saving the scene.

Tahoma has same problems as the opentoonz. They both can't import vector.
