You should use spring loaded, lever operated hose clamps instead. Once you have the spring tension set it's a simple flip up/down to use, with no screwdriver required.
Hi Mark, thanks for this very informative video. By the way I bought my brand new 151 s last year unfortunately the legs got broken while being shipped to Africa. I was thinking to find a welder to weld them back together until I suddenly fell on this video. Is there any way I can get just the legs parts? If so how and how much? I hope to hear from you soon thanks !
They used to be made better. One "140" I bought about 16 years ago was better constructed than two my brother bought three years ago. I have modified the one my brother gave to me and I need to make more modifications to improve the function and the durability. I made videos on the modifications.

We use a very large oversized latch. The clamp system holds riffles down nicely and no springs to fall out and get lost.
