Friend of mine had an older version triple sluice box. That in itself increased gold tallies by quite a bit ( 25% +) especially since most of the gold in the river he dredged was fine. I am well past my 6" dredge days, but is there any option for miners moss/expanded metal on the side sluices?

Perhaps not material but before we take it out in the field it is great to put it in the pool and work out some of the details. We already had a prototype working in the Philippines on some 200 to 500 mesh gold for over 4 months before we got to this stage.

It would probably do one hell of a job to vacum your pool though!

This is gravel pump dredge the material passes through the pump up to 6" solids. This would not work to power a Venturi dredge to drive a 12" dredge would require closer to 4000 to 5000 GPM at 50 psi. Totally different type of pump.

Theoretically if u have this 6 inch pressure outlet how big of a jet could u power with it? A 12 inch jet and flare?

Could this system be retrofitted to run a 10 or 12 inch nozzle for dredging applications in very deep water,like 50ft plus im thinking of the bering sea.

Awesome work boys but nowhere in the state I live in can you dredge they say it's legal but won't issue permits to do so,they say it kills the fish,,so does fishing

Sorry to be a complainer, but your camera footage must be designed for viewers to see little or nothing of what you are doing when you're doing it. Nice audio though. Try moving the camera another 30 foot away from the work - for a pod cast.

A 4" package like you see here in the video is roughly 38K and 6" is roughly 45K and the biggest thing is the cost of the diesel engine. Tier 3 and 4 can really change the price around. Just the pump alone are around $11500 and the weight of the pump close to 500 lbs.
