She was famous Taarab singer from Zanzibar. Taarab is Cultural Swahili song specifically sung by Easten Coast people by which Bi kidude is among the founders of those songs. She was the one who encouraged me to compose Swahili poems since 2012 when I was in secondary school level. And My first poem was YUPI HUYO NIMPATE. Look atleast four first stanzas of that poem below 1. Sigubikwi na huzuni, daima natafakari, Yapo mengi duniani, ila yameitidari, Hivyo mboni haioni, chaguo lililo zuri, Ili nisitiwe doa, sina budi kutulia. 2. Bila shaka natambua, jambo lilo la hekima, Tahadhari kuchukua, yangu afya iwe njema, Nusura kujipatia, iniepuke hujuma, Kheri ije kama wito, nitimize zangu ndoto. 3. Namtafuta mmoja, mwenye sifa zifuatazo, Atambua zangu haja, akidhi vyangu vigezo, Bila shaka tamngoja, kwangu awe kama nguzo, Yupi huyo nimpate, maishani tuwe wote? 4. Mcheshi mtaratibu, huyo ndiye nahitaji, Awe mwingi wa aibu, suruhu chake kipaji, Aepuke masaibu, busara mtwike taji, Yupi huyo nimpate maishani tuwe wote?

She inspires my soft song writing. And that song has to have message, not just the noise our youth want to deceive us with. I lost a mother who made my eyes wet often and still does.
