    What should I name these pearl-ified AF1s?! Tell me in the comments! Did I just spend WAY too much time making a pair of shoes I would never have the confidence to actually put in my sneaker rotation? Yes. Do I regret anything? No. Well, except for one thing (you'll see in the video).
    Like I mention so many times in the video, I wanted to makes these to prove a concept, if you intend on trying this yourself, I would highly recommend sanding the surface of the AF1s before applying the pearls. Alternatively you could say f* that, I'll just be fairy-dusting pearls everywhere I go, that's cool too.

    I really enjoyed this video! I admire the patience you have to glue all those small pearls so tightly on the sneakers. I think I would give up after the swoosh hahaaa

    Hi! Ive been trying to find the right glue for leather boots (dr.martens) to add gems to. I've used B7000 and i havend had luck yet. Im just doing the toe and back so im hoping they would be ideal for everyday use. Do you think if you didn't add pearls to the entire shoe it would have held up? I just don't want to try doing multiple shoes to end up ruining them... thanks 🥰

    Love the shoes!! But, do you use the rubbing alcohol before you put the glue on the shoe? Or what product did you use?

    • @CESTLAVIC
      @CESTLAVIC  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I used acetone to remove the factory finish. For this project I’d recommend sanding the surface slightly too before adding the pearls

    Hello & how r u. U mention Sanding the sneaker do u use the 400, 600, & 1500 grit sandpapers & How do u know when enough is enough Sanding. R u sanding the raise ridges all over the Sneakers. I hope I'm saying that right. Thanks 4 sharing ur knowledge.

    • @CESTLAVIC
      @CESTLAVIC  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Only a light sanding will do, you can use a high grit like 400-600, you just want to rough it up a bit so glue can stick. I avoid the seams and only sand what I’m going to cover with pearls.

      I think this process took me over 40+ hours, probably because of those darn tiny ones!
      But yeah 30-40 hours sounds about right. I applaud your patience 😂
