Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
Secondly, My video are transformative enough, I took the time to play the game and recording the musics. I took the time to improve it's original quality using Vegas Pro. Thanks to a program called "Track EQ" that you can find on Vegas Pro.
This program allow the user to enhance it's original quality and further improving it. This need concentration as each version has different audio quality.
Thirdly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!

“Ready, Johto boy?” is one of THE best lines ever put to a Pokémon game’s script
I remember the first time I heard this. Gen2 kanto was just banger music and weak gyms. Not the case in Soul Silver & Heart Gold. You really feel like a Jhoto boy/girl 😂.
Also the rematches (inside the karate gym next to Sabrina's), that was some hard stuff.

How shocked trainers starting their journey in Kanto at this time would have been to see Brock's pokemon's levels.
Yeah, gym leaders arrange their pokemon based on the challenger, so the area where you live and start out in won't matter much, and even the last gym leader won't go all out on a challenger.
+AMF the only time they do go all out is if they offer rematches after defeating the respective regions league and becoming champion

@@Mercury-oy1zd at least 200 Pokemon are returning in DLC, and are free as long as someone will trade you them. Plus, they're will be new Pokemon, probably more than Ultra Sun/Moon added. The two new areas are new story lines, basically a new post game. And a third game would be double the price of DLC, as well as making you replay the game.
Am I the only one who absolutely adores this theme? I think it is one of my favorites in HG/SS, only after probably Silver's battle theme.

I feel like Silver's theme needs a little less bounce. He's the serious guy with too happy a soundtrack. Maybe if anything, lose the bells, keep the flow going, and make the notes go a little lower.
The Johto games might get a knack for relying way too much on Kanto, but damn, I’d do anything to have this kind of post game content again. Just imagine after clearing whatever the Gen 9 region has to offer and the game just lets you know that you’re now able to travel to either of the 4: Hoenn, Unova, Kalos, or heck even Galar at this point. I’d be more than willing to take that chance again.
also hg ss fixed a lot of issues with kanto being small and forgettable
Gen 9 region (Pandea) it's based in Spain, so it would be a great idea for the post game to travel to Kalos, which is based in France. Also, it would seem logic, as Spain is under France geographically.

To this day, I've always felt as hard as they have tried to introduce content after you beat the game, Silver/Gold (HeartGold/SoulSilver) did it best with an entire second area to complete. Be honest, how awesome was it to beat Lance then find out afterwards you get to beat up the entire Kanto region as well.

What? That's not even remotely true. GameFreak was developing a 3D title beginning from HGSS for crying out loud. Gen 6 was being developed for a while. Gen *2* was supposed to be the last generation, but Gen 5 obviously wasn't at all. They pushed the DS to the complete limit before jumping to 3D.

When I first fought the Kanto gym leaders in post-game, I was surprised at how epic this soundtrack was. Like, wow, the composers didn't have to go that hard with the sudden drop at the beginning, but they did and I truly appreciate them for it. I love the intensity and the sudden drop at the beginning. They keep the tension up and gives us a sense of urgency. It's like the gym leaders' way of saying, "Oh, you're the Indigo League champion? *We can go all out, then.* "
Well, they won’t. But if you ask them for a rematch, they will go full force 100%.

I love the part where it builds up does a little jingle and than repeats it again but with much higher notes, so epic!0:28-0:34

Knowing a little bit about music theory makes this so much better. The intro builds so much tension because the time is not a 4/4 but a 7/8, which means it's missing a beat (if you don't know what i'm talking about try to count in any part of the song up to 4 and it will go in sync with the song. Now do it in the intro and you'll see what i'm talking about: you can't keep counting up to 4 anymore). Missing a beat creates this cool tension effect, and when it goes to the main melody (and the time goes back to a full 4/4) you can _feel_ the tension disappear
I just realized this myself. It's actually alternating between 4 and 3, making it a fast 7/4 time. And then a few bars of 4, and one bar of 2. Time signatures are very odd sometimes.

What I really love about heart gold and soul silver is the post game afterwards. So much do. You have the different frontiers to finish,battle red,being able to travel to Kanto and battle against all of the gym leaders and collect even more badges, and still having to capture the legendaries and having to finish the national pokedex!

I loved Kanto Gym Leaders' theme back in FRLG, I thought it was the best theme for gym leaders. Epic and solemn at the same time, you could feel the "serious battle" vibe.
Then I heard this.

@@q_frogii3704 Generation 8 began with Sword and Shield, and since Let's Go came out before that, it's commonly accepted that Let's Go was a Generation 7 game.
Of course, nowadays, what counts as a certain generation is a bit loose now, but for me, the common definition is that a new generation is defined by a new main-line Pokemon game.
It's why Scarlet and Violet, once they release, will usher in Generation 9.

There's a reason this theme is struck in us so much. It's not that it's the best theme ever compositionally. It's not that it's the theme of the strongest trainer that made us bleed like Red and Cynthia. It's because it was the theme that played when we saw them again. The first Gym Leaders from Kanto, the very first we ever fought back in Gen 1. And this theme stuck so much because it was a great moment to see our old favourite gym leaders literally return for a rematch after years of fighting them for the first time.
I kind of felt bad for Blaine in this generation. He lost his entire gym on cinnabar island
