Tennis is such a mental sport and Kyrgios is a prime example of this. Capable of losing to a top college player on one of the days he decides to implode but gets up for the top guys and often beats them. Except for when he plays Federer who he clearly idolize’s too much to truly compete against.

The thing that is so frustrating is that Nick could be a great player. I think Nicks problem is resentment for his ability. I think he's been told how talented he is, but no one has really drilled into him the benefits of discipline and respect. I think he's been told how talented he is, but no one has really drilled into him the benefits of discipline and respect. I think he wants to be as driven as Nadal and Federer and be as beloved as them but when it comes down to it he doesn't know how or care to put in the work. So it frustrates him that his talent is not enough to win against players who are also talented- but have the drive.
