My favorite thing about SK02 is that its large knob is located at the top, which is very convenient to operate. Secondly, its size allows me to easily fit it under my computer display stand. The sound details are very rich, and the only downside is that it does not have a built-in battery. Using it with an iPhone may not provide enough power, so I need to buy an additional Type C port one to two adapter.
Hey I have a question it might sound dumb but I bought the tygr 300r headset and there quite in game if I get the sk02 will it turn on my volume on my tygr 300r headset?
@@devonwood7987 Oh, brother, can you check if the volume adjustment of the tygr 300r earphones is based on the computer system's volume? If the tygr 300r and system's volume are synchronized, it won't work. SK02 will automatically lock the computer system's volume to the maximum value after connecting to the computer. At this time, you can only adjust the volume by adjusting the knob on SK02. If there is a separate volume control in the music listening software, it can also be adjusted.
I like Fosi Audio, owning both their DS02 dongle DAC & the SK01. Not sure why Fosi went away from the internal battery and intuitive knobs in this SK02
@@Gizaudio I just received my SK02 but for some reason it doesn't power on from either my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra or Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra...any thoughts or advice?
Hey ive got about $30 and im trying to get something that sounds neutral i was going to get the truthear hola but it has apparently been discontinued should i get the 7hz zero or should i get something else
Nice review!! I almost bought the fiio k11 and now this poped up and I don't know which I should get. Given the fact that you own both, can you please tell me which is better, in your opinion, or which one you would get if you had to? Thanks!😁
It depends on your needs when choosing between them, as the sound quality is quite similar for both. If you're looking for something more compact and portable, then go for the Fosi SK02. It's space-efficient, powered by a Type-C port for both power and data transfer, making for a cleaner desk setup. I'm personally tired of a desk cluttered with wires. However, if it's mainly for home use, you might prefer the Fiio K11. It's larger, comes with a display, and some might find the screen appealing. I'm not a fan of the bright lights, though. Oh, and the SK02 is $30 cheaper than the K11.
Appreciate the opinion, but this is not a review. Deep dive into the sound ? Where ???? You offered no actual appreciation of power, only discussed specs. We can do math ourselves. You never mentioned how it performed on power on any headphones and you do own headphones. No mention of sound signature other than neutral warm. Soundstage, separation, sibilance control, bass impact, sub bass, extension on both ends, etc. Might be comparable to ? Is it or is it not ???
The world of high-fidelity audio is full of people like this guy: annoying, frustrated and who want a little attention, devaluing others without adding anything. It's like the universe of wines. If I invite someone to my house and they start talking or asking me details, prices, substances, aromas and more about the wines, they will no longer be invited. We just want to enjoy good music and good wine. Is it a good wine? Did you like it? Everything else matters more to you than your taste? The same thing happens with sound in the minds of some retarded people (I couldn't find a more descriptive word). Did you like the sound? Will it play on the most popular headphones? Excellent. That's what I wanted to know. We can insert different terms and measurements, but isn't experience still the essential factor? Likewise, there is no point in going to a dealership for a test drive and listening to the salesperson talk about all the tests and measurements of the car. I just want to know if I enjoyed driving it, if I found it comfortable and if it performed well on the road and in the city. Stop being annoying, childish and rude because TH-cam comments are not your house to speak your mind and freely offend others.@@CraciunAlexandruGh
I love this channel intro, it is so elegant and fancy.
Great review! Seems like a decent budget DAC/amp. I really like that big knob

Bought this over the Fiio KA13 to match my SK01
Thanks for the review! How different in sound is it compared to the Moondrop Dawn Pro?
Thank you for comparing it with the fiio k11. I went with this and it’s much cheaper also is a perfect match for my dt 900 pro x ❤
Hi,please,review fiio ka11

is the volume knob bound to the windows volume control?

It’s a cute device that’s why I would get it😆. I don’t understand if the same USB C is for power and source of my music, how does that work❓🙋♂️
Oh so it's like big dongle, or add it to a chain only as a DAC..💁♂️✌️
Nice 👍
I’m using the Fosi SK02 with my iPad and my IEM’s went from sounding like $50 to sounding like $1,000 IEM’s.
Yeah no thats not how it works
can I just buy the SK02 by itself? or do I need the SK01 as well?
Anyone used this and the sk01 together? Can you connect source to sk01, then sk01 to sk02 to use 4.4 headphone input?
