If you paste the internal links into a list (checklist, bullet point or numbered) you can then easily re-order the links. In the case of numbered lists they will also be renumbered as you move them.
Yesterday I exported all of my Evernote notebooks and imported them into Apple notes. I still have cleanup and organizing but when I received notification that the price for my plan is increasing to $104 per year I decided that was entirely too much money just to take and keep notes. Apple notes has come a long way since it’s inception and keeps get better with every update.
If you are only taking notes, there are many great alternatives out there. I agree with you that Apple Notes is much better and is constantly adding new features, but there's a big problem. There is no way to easily move your notes to another app. Please take a look for yourself; the only option available in the export menu is PDF. And there's no excuse for that. There are many apps, such as Bear and Byword, that only work on Apple devices and have export options that are compatible with universal formats. Evernote has had a principle from the very beginning that "your notes are yours", and that's the only reason you could easily export them now. Apple is right at the other end of the spectrum. Everything they do is to prevent you from leaving. Although I love my Mac and many other great products from Apple, I never use any software or service from them that will lock me into their ecosystem.

I agree with your original comment. I don't think the moving we see in the client is actually happening in front of us. Everything I tried during the weekend was so fast! It has to be just a visual representation of what's happening in the database.

EVERNOTE IS HORRIBLE. UNUSABLE WITH OTHER SYSTEMS AND APS AND PRINTERS. Their new USA price is $129.00 a year FAR ABOVE some of the best. They even admit they have problems and yes it's high priced but stick with them...cuz in the future they are adding more things! What!? The US version doesn't allow you to do what you did here. I'm having to re do each file thus making years of storage worthless.

I switched from Evernote to Joplin. Best choice.
It's a good app, but too limited for my needs. I'd say it is ideal for people who prefer the pre-10 Evernote.
I would like each notebook to have a pin note option, so that note will always appear at the top.
