I am putting one of the world's most in-demand footballers, Erling Haaland, in a completely new environment - the National League, the fifth tier of English football. Haaland has been making headlines in top-tier leagues with his incredible scoring ability and has been a key player for both Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund. But how would he fare against lesser-known opponents in a less prestigious league? Heh! I started a Wrexham game using FM '20 and added Haaland in the 2nd year, after we got to League 1. He's been a beast, knocking in nearly 30 goals in all competitions over the course of the 22/23 season. I signed him to a contract that won't see him leave without a huge $150 million buyout offer, so he's staying for the near future I'm sure. If City, United, or Liverpool really want him, I'll sell him for bank.
