I feel you on that..trucking has allowed me to visit states that I probably wouldn't go to on my own dime. I feel like the people who say there is no money in trucking are those who don't run. Now there may be some trucking companies that pay a lot and have you home daily or weekly bu a lot of times you have to have experience and then folks want instant gratification. They don't wanna work for it in my opinion

Being too old is a state of mind. If you are in reasonably good health and can sit for long periods, can walk, stoop, and bend, then you will be fine. Never live a "what if" lifestyle. You could be a company driver for a year or two and you can scratch that off of your list and be glad that you tried it even if you find that it is not for you.

The same feeling of wonder and discovery that you got when visiting other states is the same feeling you will feel when you visit Canada. Places like Toronto and Montreal on the east and Vancouver on the west are beautiful. That would be a nice summer vacation for you and a close travel partner. You and Ebony seem to vibe pretty well. Travel is always best when you have someone to share it with.
