Why this game is not published again is beyond me. Better than some - dare I say most? - of the modern games on Switch.
The vampire couple was the hardest final boss for me
On a scale from 1 to Spiky Tiger (SoM), this was definitely an 11.
For me was Mummy Queen in the Pyramid...

Illusion of Gaia will always be my favorite game for the SNES. Beautiful storyline, amazing characters, and super simple. I love it.

I remember playing this but because I was so young I didn't really understand the RPG aspect back in the day I just spoke to npc ect lol but the music just floods the memories straight into my head the times on my Snes was amazing I miss those days

Amazing soundtrack! They don't get any better. I loved this game as a kid in the 90's. The nostalgia is so strong, it hurts.

En cette époque de remakes , je rêve d'y rejouer et 2D 4k , voire même en 3D ! Avec les mêmes musiques remasterisées 😍 un jeu épique qui m'a chamboulé pendant des mois au temps de la Super Nintendo 🙂

@@Rambobin tu as de la chance si tu as toujours ta SNES ! Moi j'ai profité des émulateurs pour y retourner, avec une manette de Xbox 360 par contre
Pareil je rêve d'un remake, j'y avais joué à l'époque sur Super Nintendo, il était vendu avec son guide ! c'était la bonne époque, la fin du jeu me rendait mélancolique à chaque fois ^^
How I loved those games: Zelda, Terranigma, Secret of Mana...and Illusion of Time /(of Gaia). To be honest: This one was the first and only game that made me cry - in the end, when the comet is beaten and the main characters have to part...have to start new lifes on different sides of the world. Great game and great soundtrack! What about a remake? Would pay 50 € for it!
Huh, not sure if it's different in the EU version then cuz I remember the final scene being all the main characters leaving school together in the new modern world
@@LeviathanRX Well, there is a scene where Kara and Will are standing on the comet´s surface... looking down to earth. It becomes clear that they will be separated after returning to earth. Kara: "No matter how long it will take, no matter where: I´m going to find you.". In the next pictures we get to see the modern world - how it has changed in all the decades after the happenings in the game. And yes: After the final credits we can see a school building where Will is standing with a backopack and a girl (Kara) is entering the room. Maybe they have found each other - maybe it is just another girl, looking like Kara. Not sure.

This was my first rpg ever and will never be forgotten!
God, I love this game! When I was a kid and I didn't undestand english as much as I do now, this was THE game. It was in fricking spanish(my mother language). In those times all my games were in english so... yeah, it was great understanding the plot. This and Terranigma made mi feel so many feelings and emotions. The only game of this serie that I didn't play yet is Soulblazer. It looks fun, I should give it a try.
Zelda A Link to the Past, Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Chrono Trigger, Skyblazer, Mystic Quest, Tales of Phantasia, etc.
And a lot of them have been traduced in french last years so maybe in spanish too

I can say that I've played this game, and I loved it. Still not finished it though since the saving feature on my emulator broke when I got to the sky garden.. ;( (sad face). One day I'll pick it up again, it was brilliant! :D
I dont recall much from the game, guess it is time to plug the cartridge in again.
En dépit de Secret Of Mana, Secret Of Evermore et Zelda, il restera mon jeu préféré sur SNES

The game was massive. But let's not forget there were some very boring and/or annoying zones: Mu, Skygarden and Mt. Kress Temple.
Mt Kress was terrible and so boring... Walking looking for tears to grow up the tree branches... boh
Whoa, Sky Garden in that list..!? I'd agree on Mt. Kress, in that it was my least favourite scenario.
